We stopped off at Guadalajara Mexican Grill & Cantina in Temecula for lunch. I had the 3 item combo crispy chicken taco, chile relleno, and cheese enchilada. The chicken taco was seasoned just right and crispy . Both the chili relleno and cheese enchilada were delicious. The beans and rice were also very good. Our second dish was the Chipotle Seafood Enchiladas. The enchiladas were flavorful and smothered with a creamy chipotle sauce and Mexican cream. We preferred the grilled shrimp enchilada over the shredded crab. This plate was also served with beans and rice. We did ask for a spicier salsa to go with our chips and meal. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Great Mexican Restaurant! Delicious food, amazing service and affordable. I highly recommend this place. I had the trio fajitas that was only $20 and it was so much food. Their house margarita is $6 during happy hour. Or you can order any other margarita for $9 which is not crazy expensive either. The service was awesome, as soon as we sat the waiter took our drink order and brought chips and salsa. I ended up paying around $50 for two large meals and a maragarita. I'll be coming back here for sure. Thank you.

This was my first coming to this restaurant. Decided to take my dad and son to this place 💙. And we loved it!. The wait time was minimum to get our seats at time time. Our waiter was courteous and greeted us to the place. The place is a mix of bar 🍸 and restaurant with cool decor 😎 👌. When I ordered steak and shrimp fajita. My dad ordered Combination plate, taco, enchilada and chili relleno. The food was fresh and delicious 😋 . I know what your think what did it look like we'll. Bam

This place was hoping, for a Saturday at lunch time! We had a large party, seated in the outside dining area. Both the food, and service, was excellent! The atmosphere was family friendly, and quite lively! There was also live music, with an island 🏝 vibe! I had the Birria Queso Tacos...I am usually a big eater, but these filled me up! I was in a food coma afterwards!

My first time here, me and my gf ordered their signature famous fahitas and it was AMAZING! BIG portion enough for two! It also came with 2 rice and bean dishes! Worth of every dollar spent. Would recommend this menu. The mini flight maragitas were good as well! We did't want big glasses so we tried the mini drinks and 2 rounds were enough. The second time we ordered stake and chicken on a hot plate which was ok a bit salty on the beef. The place gave you complimentary chips and their homemade salsa dip which was amazing!!!! Do not miss it!!! Recommended for the fahitas. However, do not expect the service.

I had seen this place but never stopped by, My husband and I wanted to try a different place and decided to give it a try. Glad we did food is authentic Mexican flavor we like the ambience there was live music, it's decorated really nice too. We sat inside the restaurant had view of the outside tables also nicely decorated and a band was setting up I can't wait to go back and this time at night I bet it's way better! Definitely recommend this place!!!

I LOVED this place. It seriously had some of the best food I've ever had, with ridiculously fast service. The entire restaurant was decorated for Christmas, and they will sometimes have people walking around, playing Mexican music while you eat. The drinks were great also 👌. If you live nearby and like Mexican food, this place is perfect for you.

This was my first visit here I had the Chile Verde plate with rice and beans and it was very tasty. The beans I fell in love with. My boyfriend had the red chimichanga burrito the beef was really flavorful and tender. We also got the free cheese crisp and man was that good. I would definitely go back again but maybe next time to hear the live mariachi.

A LOCAL TEMECULA FAVORITE! Guadalajara is a Mexican restaurant known for its authentic food, vibrant happy hour, live music, and souvenir photos. It’s right off the 15 freeway, just five mins away from the entrance to Old Town Temecula. It’s got a great amount of seating, plenty of booths and comfy cushions. Guadalajara features Mexican seafood options, iconic fajitas, yummy burritos, fresh tacos and plenty of adult beverages. How was the food? The table chips were great, I ate the whole basket. As for dinner, I highly suggest the Shrimp Fajitas, they had perfectly cooked shrimp and a nice mixture of fresh veggies. My order came with 3 homemade tortillas. Live music is played after 6pm on select days and it’s a HIT! I saw so many people lined up to eat and enjoy. I’d categorize this spot as family-friendly, it’s clean and inviting! I didn’t see people drinking irresponsibly or acting a fool. The staff were pretty nice, although we didn’t get refills in a timely manner. I loved the souvenir photos that are offered. A sweet photographer was taking pics of various tables and was selling 2 pics with covers for $25. We bought a pair, because they were nice shots!

Soup is extremely spicy, the shrimps are fine, but waited for long for this dish to be served while other people in the group (they didn’t order soup) had eaten half of their dishes, probably should have ordered non-soup dishes.

A return visit here was much better than my last visit. We expected a wait since it was the weekend, but we seated in a reasonable amount of time. The food was good and plentiful. I ordered the Birria tacos, and it was enough to share. My guest ordered the large platter with skirt steak, shrimp, rice & beans. All very tasty!

The fajitas are perfect for sharing, with a sizzling mix of chicken, beef, shrimp, and grilled vegetables that are packed with flavor. The portion is generous, leaving us not only satisfied but with enough leftovers for a second delicious meal at home. The seasoning is spot-on, and the fresh tortillas and toppings make every bite a treat. The warm and attentive staff only add to the experience, making us feel welcome every time. And we can’t forget their margaritas—refreshing, perfectly balanced, and an excellent pairing with the meal. Whether for a cozy date night or a casual dinner out, Guadalajara has become one of our go-to spots. We’ll definitely keep coming back for those incredible fajitas!

It’s a cute little place. A bit outdated , but I loved the little entrance. The walls and the color schemes are charming. We were told it would be a 20-25 min wait but we waited for about an hour to be seated. We came here because a patient recommended it, but honestly , the food is better at Cardenas. The kids played it safe and ordered something basic, but they weren’t thrilled. Overall Glad we tried it, but I don’t see us ever coming back. The staff was kind and attentive.

2/11/2026. It was my first time at this Mexican restaurant. I ordered the Carnitas with refried beans and rice. The Carnitas was horrible! The pork was very dry and fried chunks to a crispy hard texture. I told the waitress it was the first time experiencing carnitas cooked like this, and she said that is how they prepare carnitas. I never had carnitas prepared so poorly like this in my lifetime! She didn't offer to replace it with something else or discount my $20 meal. I will NOT be returning to dine at Guadalajara Grill in the future.

We used to come here quite often when we had that Mexican food itch. We hadn’t been in about a year and boy how things have changed. We stopped in for taco Tuesday and were completely disappointed. I got the 2 taco combo with ground beef (aside from Taco Bell, haven’t had ground beef tacos at a Mexican restaurant) and my wife the 3 taco sampler. There was ZERO flavor with the meat in all the tacos. I mean zero. Not to mention, my beer was flat and the service was just meh. Unfortunately this will be the last time we’ll be visiting here. Complete bummer.
