Ordered through app, had to wait but not long and food was good.
Went to the drive-through and the poor workers inside work very shorthanded. Only had two people working the whole restaurant. They were super nice and took care of us, but I sure felt bad for them. I didn’t mind waiting the extra time just because they were shortstaffed. They said they have a hard time finding people to work.

This was the first clean, and first Jack in the Box that tasted good we have been to in Texas. The manager said they are under new ownership, and it shows. Keep up the good work!
I really enjoyed the staff and the food at this Jack location. The employees I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. I had the Jack wraps (#10) with onion rings. The lady who took my order offered spicy sauce and it really made the wraps twice as delicious. I would recommend stopping here next time you are coming through Temple.
I was pleasantly suprised by the incredible quality of the food put on display. Fresh buns, fries, vegetables, and freshly cooked hamburger patties with a perfect amount of sauce led to one of the best fast food experiences I've had.
We enjoyed our meal very much .. Staff was very busy but the wait time was minimal... Food came out and it was beautiful... Tasty and juicy burgers and the fries were crispy and hot... We'll be returning in the near future

Food was very fresh and delicious. Only had two people working and they did an amazing job. The lady with the short grey hair was really friendly and appreciative I had manners. They were doing their best at a rush hour. People need to have compassion and patience. She was very sweet and Jack in the box is lucky to have her. Hope to see her again!
I had a previous disappointing experience in the past but stopped in for the 0.75 taco special. They have turned around. My burger and tacos were hot and fresh. Customer service was excellent, quick and friendly. I will gladly stop back again.
I got two jumbo jacks on the app for $6. Good deal nowadays for 2 burgers on the go and they're always good. Ended up leaving my wallet in the dining room unknowingly and later I'm looking all over for it thinking we'll I lost my wallet!! Next morning I get a call from my bank and I guess one of the workers found it and turned it in. Called Jane the manager and she went immediately to the post office and sent it. Not one dollar or anything was missing. I don't think I've ever had a wallet returned, we'll one time, all my credit cards were there but they took all the cash which was substantial. This time I only had a little cash but it was all there. This is something you hardly expect nowadays. Didn't used to be like that but Jane and her crew showed me their is still some good people in this World. Just when you think how much worse can it get in this country with our current politics someone shows me some real kindness, and honesty. I just want to thank whoever found it and Jane for returning it. She even paid to send it. Thank you!! Thankfully there are still a few good and honest people in this World.

This place is much better than the one in downtown Temple. Only went through the drive thru so cannot comment about the interior. I did notice that the drive thru had a long line and only (1) car was parked for going inside. Even though the line was long I got through the line fairly quick. Staff member was very nice, respectful and considerate. Got my (6) tacos and boy were they good. 2nd time here and went inside. Very, very clean and staff very friendly. 😎 Update: their Pannidos are scrumptious. Will be getting more next time.
Ordered spicy chicken sandwich in drive thru. Super quick... Like, two minutes quick. Service was great and friendly. Sandwich was ok. Lots of lettuce (but it was crisp and fresh!) . Everything in sandwich was good, I just wish the size of chicken was a bit thicker and not overly done lol that thang was super done! Like crispy bacon lol and super thin, too. Curly fries were not the best. In fact, burnt to a crisp is the best way to describe them. The sourdough burger wasn't too bad. Had fresh ingredients. Employee was very nice.

Reviews here sounds to me like I should stay clear of this place, Huh? Maybe I need to just make my own food at home and go to HEB more often since you guys cannot operate a fast food place with national advertising and an easy set menu. Jack in the Box stores are franchises......so there ya go.
I ordered 3 packs of tacos. I could see the order screen showed only my order and they were dead with no other customers. It took them 21 minutes to finish my order. The tacos stunk of old grease and the obvious low temp fryer made them soggy and tasting like curly fries. I didn't say anything to them. I usually don't do that. But this location was one of the worst I've ever been to. It's the Temple location off of the 35 freeway. I'm not going to go there again even though it's my most convenient store. They were that bad.
20+ minute wait for a single burger, and it's not busy. I had no idea what was going on. I was asked to pull to the front to continue waiting. So I did, and waited, and waited, and waited. No traffic in the drive thru, just a couple customers entering and leaving occasionally.
Restaurant was Hot the heater was on full blast, one employee had a winter jacket on at it was 65° outside not exactly freezing. Took a while for the cashier to acknowledge us but was nice, because we were nice to them . The soda machine barely worked touch screen and button were inoperable and there was no syrup in the sprite...through it out. most other drink were out of order root beer, etc. Went to cashier to see If I could get them to get me sprite from their machine, but they never came back to register. Burger tasted weird meat was funky and didn't have any onion and one wilted piece of lettuce. You know how you go to a place and the server makes you feel like you're an inconvenience by being a customer.....That's this jack n the box at this location.
Drive thru cashier was playing on his phone the entire time he was taking our order and kept acting like he couldn't here me. Then I ask for the ultimate bacon cheeseburger and there is literally only 1 slice of bacon folded in half on my burger. That's an ultimate bacon wow some cheapskates for sure.
I give them a low score only because they never have Tea or shakes thought McDonald's was bad..
My husband and I ordered brunch from this location. They didn’t include all the items in the order and then after several back and forth calls we were informed they couldn’t refund the money for the missing items. All solutions pointed to my husband having to do most of the work for their mistake. The tacos were soggy and the food we did receive was cold. This level of service is disgraceful.
I have never had to wait so long at this Jack in the Box whenever I come, my food is ready fresh no problem and if I order a lot and it’s already paid for they will bring it out today March 8, 2026 they can’t bring my food out to the car and It’s already paid for and made. I wouldn’t recommend going to this Jack in The Box. I wish that I would’ve looked at the reviews before going here because they say a lot about this location. The food that I got, the burger was made incorrectly and I had to wait in line for a total of 45 minutes. I went back to get the burger corrected but I ended up just driving off because it was taking too long. The food I did get was pretty good. They are out of all drinks except for the sugar free drinks. Please avoid this location.
All drinks available except for shakes and boba drinks there machine broke down about 3 wks ago. Wasn't able to fulfill my cravings without the chocolate shake I was imaging about. The employee was not patient at all, kept going on and off the drive thru mic. She couldn't hear us and we couldn't hear her. We kept repeating ourselves over and over and she added a large sprite to the order and we said we wanted large fries. We repeated that twice bc I knew she misunderstood the first time. Asked for a cheesecake 3 times and she sounded upset at us and kept muting herself. It was very upsetting to have to go thru that type of service. Then we get to the window and asked for her to repeat our order and she still had that large sprite on the order. We corrected it and had us wait up front for our order. We asked that she please make sure we get ketchup and hot sauce for our taco orders. She responded by saying okay and when she took it to us up front she did not bring out the taco sauce and ketchup. We asked her to bring us some please and we would still be waiting there for her if we would have trusted her. My husband had to get down to get it himself! Why do you work in customer service if you dont like it! Please fix this and talk to your staff so we can continue to stop by for our favorite tacos! Receipt reads the name Carlos but it was no male who took care of us, It was a female. We get home and find out that our order for tacos was incomplete so now we are still hungry. Very disappointed at this location!

They need corporate to redo the structure of leadership. Worst service ever. After waiting in Drive Thru for 40 minutes finally ordered food then sent around the to park on the other side of the building. Waiting another 20 minutes and still no food. At this point it is stupid to come here at night. Like watching a group of people not knowing how to prioritize or work on one order at a time to keep people happy. Lack of good leadership is definitely apparent.
There was no one in the drive through except for me and this is at about 8:30 pm. I rolled down my window and the lady taking my order said “whenever you’re ready”. I said ok just one second. This place is horrible at night. When I went last night they would only take one order at a time and were very slow to make orders. I was in the drive thru for 40 minutes just trying to pickup and order I placed 10 minutes before I got there. my chicken ranch club was disappointing, there was almost no letuce or tomato and what was there was extremely soggy an wilted. None of my six tacos had lettuce and they were out of taco sauce. The restaurant didn’t appear to be short staffed so I can’t find an excuse for the bad service. I would say this visit wasn’t the norm but every time I come at night it’s the same. I cannot give more than one star. This is unacceptable for a “fast food” restaurant. This was the slowest food possible.

My family was passing through Temple on a trip and we swing into this location for what was expected to be a quick lunch. The drive through line easily took more than 10 minutes and the food was well below subpar. The chicken sandwich I ordered was way overdone, chewy and gristly; I was not able to finish it and lost my appetite. The sweet tea was also pretty gross and they forgot to give us straws. Absolute waste of $22. Just go down the road to Buc-ee’s for lunch if you’re passing through town. Update: Shortly after writing this review I went back to the location, with my receipt, to request a refund. I was told that they could only issue a refund if I brought the food back as well, which we threw away at Bucc-ee’s before deciding to come back for a refund. Additional update: A few days later we actually did receive a call from the district/regional manager who offered a sincere apology for the situation and did what he could to make it right. I didn't think we'd ever hear from someone, much less have the situation corrected, but I was pleasantly proven wrong.

The food is as good as any other Jack in the box but this restaurant is run by incompetent people. It takes WAY too long to get food in the drive thru. I was stuck in line for 30 mins with only a total of 4 cars. Figure it out Jack in the box.

Used drive-thru for a late night snack. Service was faster than before, I previously waited over an hour in drive-thru for food, but food was terrible!! The fries were stale and cold, zero heat! Tacos were likewise stale and cold, plus there wasn't any hot sauce on them! Hamburger was not much better! Employee didn't give any napkins or condiments. I give up on stopping for a late nite meal at this Jack in the Box!!
We stopped by at about 7:25 on our way home to get some food. We had one person in front of us. I waited at the drive through for about ten minutes before he told me to pull forward. We proceeded to wait 30 minutes before I made it to the window. He didn't realize he hasn't taken my order, so I gave him my order and asked for a sweet tea. He told me he didn't want to give it to me since it hasn't been changed since early morning. I asked for a powerade. He said it was out. Finally settled on a lemonade and paid $26 for two meals. We then waited for yet another 10 minutes. Mind you there's no way to get out of the line once you're in. There's a curb in the way. I will go anywhere but this restaurant if I ever need to stop and eat in Temple again.
I try not to leave bad reviews but we ordered online and not only was the order inaccurate when we arrived for pick up but 2 of our items had to be substituted out because the location didn't have the type of item. We ordered two munchies boxes. The two items they were out of stock on were the pink pineapple shake and the Nashville hot popcorn chicken. They also had to remake about 4 of our items. I do not recommend eating here or at the very least I do not recommend using the website for pick up.
Went with my family, it was insanely slippery there was no lids for any sizes except large the drink. Drink machine is insanely dirty. A lot of light's are out not clean at all and most tables are dirty. There are no napkins. We had to ask twice for lids the entrance door metal is greased up to the point of slipping and it's not a watch your step it is very hard to know the the metal is slightly removed from the floor and concrete. Cashier was sending one of the workers out with our food for her to find out we were inside the entire time. Very strange experience. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! My family ordered the Jack Wraps combo and they were all cold and seemed like they we just warmed up.
Ordered the new cluck chicken sandwich, it was nothing like what was being shown on the menu, there was no plump chicken patty,it looked more like the off brand chicken patie from heb,no mystery sauce, no brioche bun,I paid $9 dollars for something, I could have made a helluva lot better at home,.
There was no crew or teamwork. We were asked by the attendant to give him a moment. 15 minutes later we asked if they were still there. He responded “ I told you to give me a moment” . We knew our order would be trashed at that moment so we tried to drive through and not even eat there. There were two cars ahead of us that took 30 minutes to get their order before we could actually leave as we were trapped in the wait line. Just shouldn’t be open at all . Terrible experience and I actually like jack in the box. Just not here. Terrible! 😞

Me and my husband went to the drive-thru around 10:00 p.m. he got a #4 large and I got the new T-Pain Munchie meal. We had to wait a good 8 minutes for them to bring our food out.They brought our food out it didn't have the air freshener for the T-Pain meal. They said they were out. We drove off my husband's#4 meal was nice and hot. But as for mine my fries were cold my taco was cold and my hamburger was barely warm. Will not be going back.
This place needs a complete makeover from building to staff.I can’t believe how poor the food tasted. Coke machine is always broken. Water dripping from the ceiling due to condensation. Only three people working at 10a.m. Super slow service. Waited at the counter ten minutes to get waited on plus we were the only customers in the store. The higher up’s need to really check out this store and fix it or sell it. Very disappointing….
They stopped caring... Truly... There is so much grease on the floor I nearly fell, and I do not exaggerate. I'll spare the bathroom pictures but it's actually so bad I'd prefer the employees not wash their hands after using. The burger patties were reheated (yes you can taste that) which leads me to ask if this place has ever been visited by the local health department. Don't take my word... Come visit... But be sure to keep your balance and stock up on Dawn dish soap to was the bottoms of your shoes afterward and stay close to a bathroom for a few hours. PS. They also got our order wrong but now I'm just nitpicking.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided. It's clear that management and upper management do not prioritize customer service. My colleagues and I, both at the hospital and the children's hospital, have made the decision to stop returning to this establishment due to consistently poor service and the frequent inaccuracies with our orders.

Store seemed grossly understaffed. I ordered mobile and arrived in about ten minutes. I spent 10 minutes or longer in the drive through waiting with no one in front of me. At 2:02 I Unfortunately ordered a burger with no pickles. This was considered a special order and was asked to pull around. At 2:20 , not having received my order I went inside to find out she had not started my order! I was asked to wait again. At 2:30, I received half an order. I am still imagining I at how absurd this all has been and will not be returning
It would be hard to imagine anything even close to good service at this particular store. Ours and following customers (as we waited) orders and requests were met with an extremely odd form of rude defensiveness. Very strange. The counterperson simply didn't want you or themselves to be there, and it showed.

I came in during 2p-3p on a weekday, order #104 and ordered lunch for the office staff. I love Jack in the box and having 5 children I spend a lot of money at these establishments. But this store is the absolute worst and slowest! Been in line for 45min and there's still 5 more cars in front of me! If I wouldn't have already paid I would've left by now! And theirs employees walking out for smoke breaks while I wait!!!
Employees are rude, very unorganized, I don't even see how this store has over three stars, I've never had a good experience at this store. I've waited before for 35 minutes for food. I do food delivery so the majority of the time I will not even pick up an order from here unless the pay is really good. Half the time employees are sitting outside in their vehicles smoking cigarettes while there's a long line with only one or two employees inside. I do understand that they are short-staffed but there's a reason for that, I wouldn't want to work here either and I think that boils down to the management or whoever is running the store. They have a very high turnover rate in the last 3 years I haven't seen one person that's been there consistently. This business needs a complete makeover. The other Jack in the box on 3rd Street isn't any better.

Wish I knew it was mobile order only. Now I can’t get out of line, as I reach the menu to order. Nobody came out to provide this information to the 10 cars line in the drive through.
First off, we were parked after ordering and paying. Which I was fine with, figured "it's ok at least my food will be fresh. We wait five minutes and get our food. I open my box expecting my food to be hot and ready. I go to open my breakfast sandwich to put some strawberry jelly on it and this is what I got. A cold, old, burnt sausage patty and the hash brown cold and soggy too. Y'all got to do better.
If you ask for a caramel ice coffee with no ice they will give you whatever they feel is going to replace the ice measurement. I've never heard such a thing. Ive always gotten coffee to the top of the cup. I 'm going to call corporate for this
Only wanted a shake and of course it was down the machine that is - so I got a cheesecake instead and it had no flavor and def not worth the price.
worst customer service in awhile. dude behind the counter was very rude. i get being annoyed by buisness but to be inside goofing off being rude to customers just aint it.
Place an order online. Waited in drive-thru for about 30 minutes just to get to the speaker to tell them that we have an online order. I would have canceled it but it says my order has been complete even though we haven't even picked up the food. The total wait time in the drive-thru was over an hour. The food was cold and greasy.
Got here at 1:15 a.m. five cars in front of me, did not get my food until 1:58 a.m. 🤬
Absolute awful location. They’re out of nearly everything on the menu. We waited 30 minutes and still got the wrong food, TWICE! Even after going inside to correct my problem I was met with employees moving slowly and unaware of what was going on. Don’t go here unless you want the Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger and Curly fries because that’s all they know how to make. Not worth the headache. Management needs to do better for these employees.
This was the worst experience ever. Second time we have walked in there and been ignored. Nobody says anything to you. The place was disgusting and so nasty. We are there the first time but walked out the second time mostly because nobody acknowledged us. Not even the employee who walked to the front to say he was leaving and saw us. This place needs to be shut down. Zero stars!!
Sat 2.5 hours in the drive through and my order was "lost" so had to wait longer. Manager was.. bless her heart..
Its 3:30 in the morning I pull up and 5 minutes goes by and nothing. No greeting nothing at all. So I pull up to the window and after walking past the window pacing back to the office the guy finally greets me. And of course he says ok ill be right back. 3 minutes later he says um can I get u to pull to the front of the store its gonna be a minute. I asked how long he said atleast 10 minutes. So while ur employees were sitting in their cars when I pulled up my food was going uncooked. That's how I support my family and u cant even have the decency to do ur job to the best of ur ability because that would be to much work. This jack in the box is a joke. I wouldn't eat at either jack in the box in this town even if u paid me. Gross. They have to have the worst staff in town with the exception of maybe one.
In the drive through line, I was waiting to order only to be told that they were doing a shift change and there would be a wait of 30 minutes to an hour! The line is one lane wide and with two cars in front of me waiting on their food, I had to inform the driver behind me of the wait and ask them to reverse out so neither of us would remain stuck; I even asked if I could just order since and I was stuck and was told there would be no point due to the wait. I’ve never heard of a fast food restaurant refusing orders due to a shift change???
We ordered here and the lady had a horrible attitude and made our order wrong twice and proceeded to tell us we was wrong when it was clearly on our ticket I have never experienced such unprofessional customer service in my life!!!!!!! And she told us they was short staffed but nobody was there and she was on her phone just sitting down we ended up leaving without the correct burger and she remade it 3 times
Ordered my food on the mobile app. It took an hour to get through the line get my food it enedup being cold. They didn't have any mini tacos, and they end up forgetting my curly fry to go with it. You cant get a hold of them on the phone and dont want to wait an hour in line again.. I want my money back from my oder this is trash service and y'all should just close down.
Was in the drive through for 45 minutes before they told us that they were only doing on line orders. Then proceeded to wait another hour before we got to the window. The lady at the window was very ruder
So I pulled in the drive thru and I don't mind waiting. I totally understand being understaffed or something like that. So after waiting at a bit in line.... I get to the menu where i wait 5 minites or more without any answer. I even called out hello a couple times. Of coarse there is a line filling up behind me too so I assume the menu isn't working and I pull forward. As I pull off i hear someone finally answering but at that point cars are already pulled forward behind me. I get to the window and start to tell him I thought the speaker didn't work because no one answered. Then he tells me he can't take me order at the window. I know when I pulled up there was like 5 cars behind me..I said so you want me to pull around and wait AGAIN because you didn't answer. He said he was about to take my order. Its really easy to at least come on the the speaker and say "I will take your order in a few please hold". Not answering or saying anything for so long is ridiculous. He says he can't take my order because he is taking other orders. Yea the cars that were behind me. I am not mad because I initially had to wait. I'm mad because of the horrible customer service. My order should've be taken at the window when it was there horrible service. I would've had no problem waiting at the menu to order if someone just said something.
Do not go here the employee's are aggressive and tell you how much your allowed to order they didn't have name tags but one was a women heavy set with glasses. And the other had braided hair and was heavy set. They accused me of ordering to much and said I wasn't going to pay for it and then tried to steal one of my burgers but I had the receipt to prove it
Second time here. And won't be back. Both times I waited over 20 minutes for my cold food. Both times was asked to pull around and wait. As I write this there is 2 cars ahead of me waiting and another 3 after me just sitting in the parking lot waiting. Still here. The manager just came out and said sorry about that we are fighting in there. And ask what my order was I told him no problem I had a ultimate bacon cheeseburger and a double cheeseburger both with curly fries. He walks in and a few minutes later came out with two bags. He just asked me what I ordered so I didn't check it. When I got home the only thing that was right was the two drinks. I was giving a chicken sandwich and chicken nuggets with two regular fries. So pretty much paid 25 dollars for to cokes.
I’ve never been to this location but I came on my lunch break because I had a taste for something different, it wasn’t busy just one car in front of me but it took a while. I ordered onion rings with my meal and couldn’t eat them, they was burnt plus I ordered a medium just to receive 4 burnt onion rings. If I had more time I would have asked to remake them but unfortunately I didn’t.
Hello I just came through the drive through at this location , and I was very specific about my order, I even asked the guy who took my order to put easy eggs on my burrito and no sausage, when I pulled up to the window I paid for my food , everybody was just laughing and chilling , then the guy who took my order didn’t give me a receipt , and told me to go park outside and they will bring it to me . So I go park , this girl brings my food out and says everything’s in the bag , so I check in all the food was in the bag, I pull off and start eating my food and noticed that my burrito had sausage in it which was wrong, it also had eggshell in it, now if you have time to play around in the kitchen and play around by the drive-through window then you don’t need to be working in food. I paid $22 and some change for my order , That’s a lot of money for it to not have been done right , I’ve been a cook at Carl’s Jr. for 2 years , you guys need to pay more attention when your cooking and you need people who actually want their jobs . I’m highly disappointed and upset .
