I've known this restaurant for a while and it used to be good. As for the goat, the price is like La Silla restaurant in Puebla, and it's nothing like the quality—a very expensive and tiny piece. Plus, the meat seemed outdated. There's only one waiter for the whole restaurant, and the kitchen is equally small. We ordered a sirloin, which was good, but their specialty leaves much to be desired. And since the owners aren't involved anymore, things aren't going well.

Average to good food. Very long wait times, and no one around. No music or anything. What's not at all pleasant is that it feels like you're eating in a wine cellar. The photos clearly demonstrate this. Of course, I won't be back.

They were very late serving, and they don't respect the portion sizes. We used to go there when the prices were more affordable. Today we ordered goat meat, and the portion wasn't the same as before. Their service was slow, and the prices don't match the quality they used to have.

My rating is more about the speed of service. Eating is about arriving, ordering, and waiting an average of 20 to 30 minutes. When you go beyond this, the pressure, especially if you're hungry, makes waiting a nuisance, finding yourself pressed up against the table or your companions. I don't feel it's a bad rating for anything else. Even though I can't speak volumes and say it's excellent, at least it's not bad at all. But that's what the wait does. It further increases expectations, and the classic: it was worth it. So, El Cabrito loses a lot of points there; it becomes an odyssey to receive your food, taste it, and find it average or barely good. It hurts a lot in the general perception. And waiting only makes you hungrier.
