My phone was stolen inside this Popeyes location during a very narrow and clearly defined timeframe while I was waiting for my order. I had the phone in my pocket, and shortly after noticed it was gone. After I left, I used Apple’s “Find My” from my computer and the phone continued showing at this exact location during hours of operation, with frequent location updates. The phone also showed as powered off shortly after it went missing. I did not power it off.

This phone is an essential tool required for my work, and its loss has a direct impact on my ability to earn income. Security cameras are present in the restaurant. I requested that the footage be reviewed or preserved to help identify what happened. The store manager refused to review or preserve the footage, despite the clear timeframe and the time-sensitive nature of the situation. I was told the footage would not be checked because they needed to “protect the business.” I documented everything and filed a police report. The refusal to cooperate or preserve footage materially harmed my ability to recover stolen property that went missing on their premises. This is a serious safety and accountability concern. I expected basic cooperation in a situation involving theft, but unfortunately received none.

We were visiting the walk of fame and we decided to get food, we place the order by the kiosk, we got a Combo (4 sandwich and 2 sides) when they call us number we got only 3 sandwich at first so I had to asked for the another one, then my brother got a big drink and they gave to him a small size so I have to ask the lady by the register for the right size (his paid almost 4 dollars) she got mad. The food is delicious and restaurant so clean but the staff a little unfriendly

We ordered on Uber Eats, driver was lovely but food not so much. My other half said it was the worst food he has ever had. Which is a shame as we had heard so much about Popeyes and it was a real let down. Reading other reviews would really of helped us to stay away.

On 8/15/2025 I visited the Hollywood CA 90028 location. I ordered a 5 piece chicken tender box but when I got home and opened the bag I found nothing but crunchy bread crumbs, only about two of them actually had chicken in them, what a disappointment! It only got worse, when I tried to get a refund after interacting with their virtual support team they only offered me a $5 coupon to use towards my next purchase. I declined because I paid $14.80 plus tax, paid for street parking and walked 3 blocks for this, so wanted a full refund at the least. So they said they would expedite my issue to their franchise store manager and they would get back to me in one week but they never did. Then I emailed the lady virtual team member I communicated with even he stopped responding. So I ended up disputing the charge with my banking institution. Lesson: check the bag before you leave because if I had, I would have never left the store with that garbage. UPDATE: Thanks for taking the time to read my review. As you have requested, I have added all the detailed screenshots of communications I saved from the incident. As you mentioned calling the store, I had called the store several times back then but no one ever answered the phone.

Absolutely abhorrent. Traveled 3 miles on a scooter to get here, and it was horribly dissapointing. I actually went back with a friend one time, because maybe it was a fluke, but nope. The food here is just terrible. Ive gotten the chicken sandwhich and chicken tenders, and both items tasted so far below average. It was dry, unseasoned, and even beyond that, there was an indescribable flavor of sadness and bad chicken. I wouldnt feed this to my worst enemy. If I was on a desserted island and this was my only food option to survive, I would just starve. Genuinely terrible. I also had a strawberry biscuit, which was dry and dense. Even the bathroom was closed, but I guess thats fair due to its location. The only redeeming part of this popeyes was this cool homeless guy that was sitting outside of it both times I was there, he said he was my grandpa

Very low quality ingredients and the only thing about the chicken that’s good is the skin and that’s extremely unhealthy and packed with so much chemicals! I got a heartburn, stomachache and felt miserable from the food.

Absolutely horrible service, I ordered something on doordash and they refused to give my order to the dasher. Very strange, very bad energy, I do not like this place I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Don’t waste ur time babes.

I placed a mobile order at 7 PM for a 7:30 PM pickup, but I ended up waiting until 8:05 PM without any communication about the delay. The lack of attention from the staff was shocking. One worker acknowledged me briefly but then went on break for five minutes, leaving me and others waiting, completely ignored. As I waited, I noticed another employee haphazardly sorting receipts, which added to the confusion and made it impossible to know who was next in line. Meanwhile, I witnessed a customer walk in, place an order at the kiosk, and receive their food in just 10 minutes. This just highlighted how inefficient the service was for those who had pre-ordered. To make matters worse, I lost 40 minutes of my lunch break waiting for food I had ordered in advance. This has been my worst experience yet, and I hope management takes these issues seriously to improve service for future customers.

Has to be the world’s slowest Popeyes. Has a ton of workers inside but slow service. This is a fast food chicken place and you can clearly see the chicken sitting under the heat lamps. This place needs new management that knows who to manage a fast food place. Literally always so slow at this location.

The Popeyes location in Hollywood needs to be closed down! I waited 30 mins to receive my order, the chicken was BURNT it was only breading no chicken in there. The staff was disgusting no hand washing the location was extremely dirty so unorganized. Trash everywhere, our table was sticky and there was trash under our seats and all of the staff look off. They stared at each other as dozens of orders are piling up. They’re touching their phones and nose while touching food. Touched chicken with their hand. The chicken was sitting on the rack for more than an hour!!!! Even though the chicken NEEDS to be used within 20-30 mins on the rack. It was BURNT! DON’T EVER COME TO THIS POPEYES!!!!!!! I come everytime to this store because it is the closest to my house but EVERY SINGLE TIME I order 4 pcs Chicken Signature and they give to me 4 TINY PIECES OF BLACK CHICKEN, NEVER A BREAST, always ONLY drumsticks or wings. I think these guys KEEP THE BIG PIECES FOR THEMSELVES! I mean, this is a 20$ meal, not a 10$ or 5$ one, and this is what they will ALWAYS SERVE TO YOU!!! Service SO MEAN when you ask them for something, despite I’m ALWAYS so nice to these guys because I work in customer services too and I know it is not easy. I guess I have to start giving to them the same treatment that they give to me. I was so hungry that’s why I only took pictures of the chicken bones LMAO but you can tell it is 2 CHICKEN LEGS, 1 WING, 1 THIGH FOR 20$!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and NEVER EVER COME TO THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst location ever. Workers are rude and unprofessional and orders just disappear and orders get cancelled on a regular basis. Multiple Uber Eats drivers have mentioned this exact same scenario to me and they all said that they always run into those problems at that location and advised never to order from there. Popeyes is fire, but not this location. Everyone stay away 100%

Ordered through door dash and started out missing 12 wings and 2 spicy chicken sandwiches. After about an hour we had another order coming with what should be our missing items. When the order arrived we received 5 sauces, 10 minutes later we received the 12 wings and only 1 of 2 sandwiches. At that point we did not bother trying to get the last missing sandwich. It seems like this location is run by incompetent people who don’t even want to try to do a good job. It is not difficult to make sure that the items that are ordered are the ones in the bag. I doubt it’s door dash messing up unless their drivers are stealing food. The food was terrible as well, the one sandwich that we got had tiny piece of chicken which was stale and lacked sauce. The chicken tenders were basically nothing but tiny fried up pieces of chicken skin. It looks like the people working here have no business having a job and the management does not pay any attention to what their employees do. The employees working night shift should be drug tested because even when you are tired you can’t possibly mess up this bad. The sandwiches are also $8 which is absolutely ridiculous for such a terrible sandwich. This place is an absolute soup sandwich. Save yourself the sanity and stay away from this location. The reviews from other customers don’t lie, these guys suck.

Chicken was old... I told the employee and show them the chicken wings has no chicken and he told others sorry I can give you some more and give me 4 more and still they are also old .. wings inside so black and dry.. look like they make it in the early morning. I work in 7 eleven I know now when chicken get old it look so dry and black inside. They need to change the employee who not not follow the roles how long you can keep the chicken after make it. Very sad they make the Popeyes reputation bad.

First off this place is not the safest location. In the heart of hollywood you can expect there to be some sketchy individuals loitering outside and gotta be ontop of your game. But that's goes for any store on the strip. The employees are nice and honestly I can only imagine how understaffed dye to the size of foot traffic compared to the size and availability of space allowed for safe capacity of the building. Furthermore we ordered a family meal which was almost $70 dollars on the 8th to see a movie at the hollywood cemetary and when we started eating, we realized they left out our biscuits that we had ordered. Again I can imagine the foot traffic and how busy they would be at around 6:00PM but when you spend that much money, the employees have to make sure they get your entire order. Really disappointing and know that id imagine It would be a battle with management to get any sort of compensation for g Getting the order wrong. So if you order at this location, be sure to check all of your items before leaving the restaurant. You might not have everything you paid for unfortunately👎🏻

My mom and I went into Popeyes about 3 years ago and the servers did not serve us due to lack of poor service. They couldn’t take our orders because they did not have enough employees working. Its was unexpectedly rude and disappointing . Popeyes manager needs to hire a full staff employees that are competent and capable with service to the customers.

If I could this zero stars I would. Last night I ordered 72 pieces of wings. I open my door , what do I see? 6 wings . 6 WINGS . I was so frustrated and because Uber was refusing to give me a refund I couldn’t do anything and felt robbed of my money. I had to dispute the charge. The store was also unwilling to cooperate with me and didn’t give me any form of contact where I could send them Proof that I only received six wings. They were not willing to reimburse with me given the fact that Uber could not refund me because Uber also has problems of its own horribly unorganized customer support. I contact the store and the store tells me there’s no way that they would give me my wings that THEY forgot :) On top of that. Horrible and rude customer service. 😍
