Wow For The Win definitely for the WIN!!! This place is amazing atmosphere and service was so lovely, pleasant music comfortable seating, not too crowded, and condiments at the table, lovely. The staff is wonderful, keeping the place clean but not too rushed to come and pick up your tray and say hello. The burgers are definitely worth the trip as for smashburgers go they’re definitely in my top 3 hahaha which is saying a lot. Crispy edges!!! Perfectly crispy edges if you know trust I mean!!! Fries were great too so I fully recommend this place as a must visit!!!

I've heard so much about this place from my buddies in the industry and I finally got the chance to go in. They said, "Best smash burger in L.A.". Well, now I can say I agree! This place is tucked away in a corner under the freeway and hides nicely, but when you get there, it's a cool, kitchy little spot. VERY nice when we walked in the door and I saw them at work, smashin' them patties! Smelled great, looked clean and we ordered right away. Simple, double smash, fries and a canned soda. It came out pretty quick and I knew it would be good when I saw it! Flat, smashed to perfection and crusty edges spreading out the sides almost twice the size of the bun! The bites were delicious and fulfilling and the fries added the perfect crunch accessory. I will definitely go back! So far, I agree....Best smash burger in L.A.!!

The place was nice and calm when we went. Which was basically 20 minutes after opening. The burgers were delicious. I over ate, trying to have a double. The shakes are delicious 7 bucks for a small, though. The fries weren't fresh to me but still decent, but they could have complimented the burger better if they were and were a bit more crisper and fresh. Will go back.

Solid cheeseburger. Fries were decidedly average and drink selection was not good. I would like to try the chicken sandwich on the menu which they don’t actually have. The atmosphere is fine. Clean tables and great staff, but literally a hole in the wall in a grungy parking lot. If they could expand the drink options (maybe some cooler real cane sugar sodas and similar) and give some options beyond American cheese, they would be even better. And the fries. Maybe somebody likes that style, but they were kinda a poor man’s McDonald’s. Regardless, burger and vibe make it well worth it for an affordable burger. I would strongly recommend this as your stop for a burger. I know burgers (my buddy is five time world burger champ in Vegas) and these are great. My personal view on the fries may not be your view, and hey if you love American cheese..... It is great.

So close!! It’s amazing this place uses beef TALLOW for their fries. This is why I keep coming back. Might be the best French fries in town. The burger is a full crispy smash burger…solid. What’s keeping this place from 5 stars? They still use SEED OILS and HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. The fries are leagues ahead of In-N-Out, but take note, they now use the more natural ketchup, while FTW keeps using toxic off brand high fructose corn syrup ketchup. Upgrade the condiments and you’ll be in a different league, and I will update my review to 5 stars.

Must try!! Burgers are so good. I love the option of brussels sprouts, they were so crispy, the flavor was spot on. They burger was full of flavor, not dry at all, whatever sauce they use if AMAZING!! I definitely recommend this place. I wish we had a location closer to home. They do only have canned drink and a good wine selections. I was not a fan of the music they were playing but to each their own.

7.6/10 I got the double patties smash burger. It was pretty good. I thought the buns texture was great. It was soft yet chewy, with the right amount of dough. The patties were a little lacking in my opinion. It needs more salt, but the sauce did a good enough job of covering up the flavor aspect (which could be a con for some people). The flavor of the beef itself was a little underwhelming. I've had better quality beef patties before around same price point. It was also a little dry for some parts.

TLDR: average smashburgers and overly loud music means I was in and out within 10 minutes of receiving my food. I ordered at the counter and got a cheeseburger and a diet cherry Pepsi (since they don’t offer free water) for $15. The cheeseburger itself was crispy but not too flavorful. The bread was sweet but the pickles they use are too strong, they take all the focus away from the burger. Also the music was very loud, I was trying to listen to a podcast and the music drowned out the words.

I’ve been a huge fan since the 2020 inception, but I haven’t been to the original location for over a year since Glendale is closer. Today was a disappointment. The strawberry milkshake with bland, the fries weren’t crispy, the Brussels sprouts were oily and unevenly cooked, and the burgers were missing the original perfect texture and flavor. And the chicken sandwich is gone. I guess nothing lasts forever. If you must go, the Glendale location is not as good as it once was, but it beats this location hands down.

If you love smash burgers your opinion probably will differ. This restaurant idea was deviced by Santos around covid and was featured in a Modern MBA video. Smash burgers were all the rage in LA and displaced many traditional burger joints. They are much easier to cook thus more consistent than normal burgers especially compare to thick burgers. The burgers were crispy but dry, it doesn't have the tenderness and juiciness of a traditional burger.

The parking was very limited. The service was robotic and mechanical. I ordered the Grilled Cheese sandwich, Loaded Sweet Potato Fries and Chocolate Milkshake. The Milkshake was pretty consistent and not runny. The sweetness was balanced. While the Grilled Cheese sandwich has excellent taste and flavor. The cheese was well melted. The sandwich was tiny it took couple of bites to finish it. It was too expensive for the price. The loaded fries was a bomb. The secret sauce on the fries was great.

After visiting the Hollywood sign, we looked for something local and nearby to grab a bite. I came across this burger place online, but it was a disappointment from the start. The parking was horrible and very limited. The food was below average — honestly, I would rather eat at In-N-Out. At least they don’t charge $.50 for the thinnest slice of tomato, lol. The prices were outrageous for a simple smash burger. Totally unbelievable, potato bun and smallest plate they could serve and save money. On top of that, you have to clean up after yourself, the tables are very basic, and when checking out, the only gratuity options were 22% and 20%. Definitely do not recommend.

A mouldy peach letting the side down. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE the hamburger and sweet pots at For the Win. Its one of the only places, I can get a gluten free bun and almost feel like I'm eating a regular cheeseburger, because they make it so saucy and good. I'm allergic to dairy if that was unclear. I live around the corner and order take away a lot. It usually comes within 10 minutes, 15 minutes at a push irrespective of the day and even on the weekend in prime time. And it is always consistently deliciously good. Hence 99.9 % of the time I rate it hard. The staff also are usually super nice! Today though, I was face to face with a bro who is letting the side down. He didn't want to share his name, and while he claims not to be the manager, he did at one point state he was in charge, although he was giving more bully than anything and the other staff all kept quiet while he was having what seemed to be a tantrum because I questioned why he wasn't making my burger. I thought I'd be polite and only take a picture of his back. Long story short I ordered online via their website, and arrived 10 mins after, sure I low key had expectations that it would be ready as I have never waited longer that 15 minutes, my bad, I'll take that for sure. However after the order still hadn't shown up on the system in what was obviously a systematic error, and I had been standing there for a decent 5 minutes watching nothing being made, even though he's colleague had seen my receipt, this bro just sat on his phone in the corner refusing to make the burger. Then he decided he wanted to argue and educate me on why he wasn't going to make it. Then he wanted to argue about disrespect which seemed ironic. After he stomped around and told all of the staff that he wasn't going to make it, 20 minutes later, after also showing my bank statement to his colleague, and all the other staff asking him to make it, he finally made the burger. I don't believe it was made with love. Not ideal. Watch out for this one.
