Great spot on the river with some excellent food. Shout out to Diego our server who was very friendly and attentive throughout!

Brought my Mom to Cyclone Anaya’s on the Waterway and she absolutely loved it! We had shrimp tacos, table side guacamole, pork rinds and bean dip. I had Brussels sprouts and couldn’t believe how incredible they were.The salsa is some of best I have had. Leydi was our waitress and was absolutely wonderful. She gave great recommendations and provided service with a smile!! We will definitely be back!!

Food was excellent! Salsa had amazing flavor. We got queso with chile con carne and it had excellent flavor. The au jus sauce included with the fajitas was very good and added the perfect touch. House margarita was good! The only complaint per se was our server needed to check more often in refilling our drinks/waters. We ate outside and loved the atmosphere.

I recently visited Cyclone Anaya’s in The Woodlands, and I had a great experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was lively, the food was flavorful, and everything came out fresh and well-prepared. What really made the visit stand out, though, was my server Leydi. She was genuinely friendly, very attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her timing was perfect, her recommendations were spot-on, and she brought a really warm energy to the whole meal. It’s rare to get service that feels both professional and personal, and she absolutely delivered. Overall, Cyclone Anaya’s was a great spot, and Leydi made the experience even better. I’d definitely go back — especially if I get to sit in her section again.

Our experience at Cyclone Anaya’s was outstanding, and a huge part of that was thanks to Leo. From the moment we were seated, he went above and beyond to make sure our visit felt special. He welcomed us with a genuine smile, took the time to explain the menu, and even recommended a couple of dishes that ended up being our favorites of the night. What really stood out was his attention to detail. He checked on us at the perfect moments — never rushed, never intrusive — and made sure our drinks were always full. He handled every request with patience and professionalism, even when the restaurant got busy. You can tell he truly cares about providing exceptional service. It’s rare to find servers who create such a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience, but Leo absolutely does. We left feeling taken care of and appreciated. Cyclone Anaya’s is lucky to have someone like him on their team. We will definitely be coming back and asking for Leo every time!

Had the Pineapple Smash margarita, southwest eggrolls, and Carne Asada. Will 100% recommend this place to friends and family! To management, Daniel did a wonderful job! Really good restaurant on the waterway. I had the Bomba Shrimp which was great. The sweet chili mayo was very tasty and the jalapeño citrus ponzu sauce on the side made the perfect. Inside the restaurant is loud…not unusually so, but we chose to sit outside and enjoyed a quieter atmosphere.

All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Had the kids and our two dogs with me and we decided to drop in for some food after our walk. Emma, our server, was excellent in making us feel welcome, setting us up in the patio and getting our orders in. She even brought a couple of containers full of water for the pups without being prompted to do so, which was very much appreciated. Food was good overall (got the chicken fajitas and tamarind glazed Brussels sprouts) and we were able to enjoy the cool evening outdoors under the patio fans having an excellent experience overall!

Maybe they were having an off night, but I left extremely underwhelmed this evening. I went in for happy hour, and I asked the bar tender if it was still hh, she looked at her watch and quipped “yeah for another 20 minutes” and walked away. That’s it. she left. She didn’t offer to tell me the hh specials and never gave me a hh menu. She seemed extremely bothered that I knew about the specials. I had to go on line to their website and see what the hh items were. I ordered the quesadilla and street tacos. The quesadilla was greasy and soaked the tortilla which made them very soggy. The fajita street tacos were dry and lacked flavor. The good thing was of course the hh price and the chips and salsa; the salsa was really tasty. Would I repeat? I don’t think so.
