A place I've known since forever. I do not live in that city, however I often take the road there and spend some time in the car just to have the chance to eat those tortas, that is how good they are. A place in Toluca where you can always eat the best tortas of the world. Double thumbs up!!

Son de las mejores Tortas en Toluca No solo son famosas. Si no que también son reconocidas por su sabor.

Son mis tortas favoritas de Toluca, años de venir y siempre buen sabor y el pan suave. La de chile macho mi favorita aunque una jamón con queso blanco para que le pongas de todas las salsas y chiles, ufff deliciosa. Siempre tiene mucha gente y es difícil encontrar mesa, pero en barra es más rápido. Solo la fila es algo tardado, pero de atención es buena. A lado hay un estacionamiento es más seguro y tranquilo.

Es un lugar con muchos años brindando servicio, a pesar de la cantidad de personas esperando la atención es rápida y eficiente. Solo se acepta pago en efectivo. Probamos las tortas de chile relleno, milanesa, salchicha, jamón con queso blanco, queso de puerco y chorizo. La favorita fue de chile relleno. Los postres son ricos y a buen precio. Los chiles de la casa, excelentes para acompañar las tortas.

Muy buenas tortas (aunque solo he probado la de tompiates nunca alcanzo pavo), siempre que puedo paso a comer, están muy bien servidas. Tienen un despachador de chile manzano o perón, mayonesa y cebollita rebanada. Son sencillas pero eso es lo que las hacen ricas.

I came here on a recommendation. The tortas are small, the waiters are very eager and want you to make your decision. Once you've already gotten to know the place, it might be easy, but if it's your first time, like I was, I felt pressured. The flavor is delicious, but it's not a place I'd return to since it's nothing spectacular. The man at the newspaper stand next door is more attentive than anyone else working there. The most notable thing, without a doubt, is the flan; it's delicious.

La atención es genial, el baño limpio, la atención rápida. El sazón no es tan bueno y las tortas no son la gran cosa pero están en un buen lugar y tiende a llenarse. No aceptan tarjeta puro efectivo, primero pides tu torta y después de que te la preparan te la cobran en caja. No está mal pero no es lo mejor.

Tradicional en Toluca, tortas de buen sabor aunque algunos guisados están fríos, buen tamaño, precio acorde, crema, salsa, chiles y condimentos estan en barra 👍🏼 . Cuenta con mesas y barras. Pago sólo en efectivo. No tiene estacionamiento propio, hay alrededor. En la atención si hay mucho por hacer. Lugar limpio.

They were indeed the best tortas in Toluca, but sequels are always proven to be less good. Today, a torta costs 50 pesos, while a set meal with flavored water costs over 90 pesos. The green mole tortas were good, the pork leg tortas were okay, but the meatball tortas were bland. I didn't try the others. Besides, the cashier seemed annoyed instead of acknowledging that you're buying from them to help them stay in business.

You can only pay in cash; I think they're expensive, however, the turkey and Milanese sandwiches are worth it, they're delicious!! 😋 We had to wait 30 minutes because they didn't have any turkey yet. The service from the sandwich makers is good, but the lady at the register is a total temper and her treatment is not good...

The tortas are good, but not excellent. Perhaps they're cold, which directly depends on the service, and they should pay attention to every detail for each customer. A little more effort would be welcome. The place is a classic in Toluca, but it needs a bit more care. The price is reasonable, and the bread is a normal size, not giant like in other places, so if you have a big appetite, order more than one. They have parking.

Desafortunadamente el empleado que envuelve las tortas es muy grosero, ya que pareciera que les hace un favor a los comensales. La actitud de esa persona hace que uno como cliente ya no regrese a causa de su mal trato.

The place is really old. And the owners need to upgrade quickly. The main desk is terrible and really old. They're really really rude person. The people that take your order and the person that is in the main desk. They treat you like they don't care a customer. There's a bad smell in the place. The tortas are not bad. But are not the best that I've tried. But definitely they need to be nicer with the costumers. But to be honest they're super rude

I've been going to this place for over 30 years. The Toluca-style tortas are good, each to their own style. But the service is terrible, especially the customer service for the produce section. Even the cashier, who seems to be the owner's daughter, should be setting an example of empathy. Remember, @tortasLerdo, I don't ask for credit or freebies; I order politely and pay promptly. And regarding hygiene, the women handle the food with their bare hands and wear rings!

The worst tortas I have ever eaten, they recommended these tortas in a YouTube video and I was honestly disappointed. There are people who might like them because there are tastes for everyone and I went to Toluca for these tortas that were cold, small and with an X flavor, the preparation was horrible, they didn't have utensils to take the ingredients, they took everything with their hands without gloves. I went to places that looked better but oh well I went to try something that honestly the gorditas and quesadillas would have been better.
