Loved it! I'm an American and I felt right at home. The atmosphere and décor is very classy and hip and I felt like I was back in the United States. I was so impressed that they also had Chai tea (my favorite!) and also something that tasted similar and just as good but without caffeine! (I wish I could remember the name of it) Very comfortable place to relax and get a little work done. Great place for a quick breakfast before work, or to have a business meeting over coffee and tea or brunch,...or to just hang out with friends. They have free Wi-Fi and the service was impeccable. The staff at Café Catalan Fridali is very friendly and efficient, and made my eggs exactly as I wanted them. They even changed the music playing in the background to classical relaxing music so that I could focus on my work. Perfect location in front of the immigration office in Toluca, so that I could eat and relax and have Wi-Fi in comfort while waiting for my application to process. And your friends and family can spend time there having a tea or coffee and desert and even breakfast or brunch, while you're in the immigration office (since no one is allowed inside immigration but you; the person who is applying). Café Catalan Fridali even has a really cute outdoor patio where people can smoke and people watch, and those of us inside are completely protected from the smoke by a sliding glass door kept closed. The owners are great! I was blessed to meet them while I was there and really enjoyed speaking with them in English. I highly recommend Café Catalan Fridali!

An original place for coffee. They have a retro yet very chic decor. I recommend you try it. The cinnamon rolls are very good. They just need a little more customer service.

Cafeteria! The menu is a bit lacking in quality, and we've had to wait several times for them to run out of certain ingredients. The terrace is very small, and large groups can feel a bit uncomfortable due to the limited space. The hot drinks are good, and the place looks modern. It could definitely be improved, but at least for a coffee and some toast, it's fine!

They don't take your temperature upon entry, nor do they provide hand sanitizer! I didn't like the white chocolate cake. The mint chocolate drink (which was delicious) was delicious, but I had a hair growing out of it, so the waitress pulled it out, examined it, and said it was red. There were no towels to dry my hands. I had read good reviews of the place, but they were far from what I perceived. It's not a place I'd recommend; the view is nice.
