The place is quite spacious, clean, and quiet. The service is good. Both the carrot cake and the strudel were delicious and reasonably priced. The coffee was a bit too light for my taste. A very peaceful place to spend a good time.

I went during the week and found it quite peaceful, the chocolate I ordered was delicious, the service was good, and the time spent there is very pleasant, even if you just want to relax and read a bit.

It's a good cafe with plenty of space and a good menu (it's worth noting that they also sell thermoses). The food and drinks were good, however, there were several items on the menu that weren't available at the time, and the service was somewhat slow (the cafe was full, but there was enough staff to ensure service was a little faster).

Nicely designed cafe. We had good espresso cubano (with condensed milk), but small cappuccino was 2dl of milk. Cheesecake was ok, but overall we were not taken away by it, but it was not bad.

The temperature check and hand sanitizer protocol takes precedence over politeness. The waitress pounces on me, imposing her formality and forgetting even the most basic "buenas tardes." Only then does she ask if I want to eat in or take away. What if I just wanted to look at the menu before deciding? The coffee is expensive and not strong enough like an espresso should be. In the end, I'm left with a feeling of unease and disappointment, me, who comes to the café to relax...

Pedimos 2 frappes para llevar y tardaron aprox mas de 20 mins, lo peor al momento de probarlos no tenían sabor 😞. Eso sí, el personal muy amable.

El lugar es lindo, pero fuimos a la hora de la comida y, a pesar de que había tres personas en la barra y la cocina, no se daban abasto. Solo éramos dos mesas, pero nuestra orden tardó media hora en ser confirmada porque un plato no estaba disponible. En total, esperamos una hora para recibir la comida, que además llegó por partes. La comida es rica, aunque nada extraordinaria. Los meseros estaban más ocupados jugando que atendiendo, lo que hizo que incluso la cuenta tardara 15 minutos en llegar. Hace un año visitamos el lugar y, aunque solo había dos chicas atendiendo, el servicio fue mucho más ágil.

Poor service. First, they brought us the drinks, which were fine with the cappuccino and hot chocolate. The problem was that after that, it took at least half an hour to bring us the Philadelphia cream cheese crepes with blackberries that we ordered; the drinks got cold in the meantime. Furthermore, neither my colleague nor I liked the crepes. They seemed like they were made with oats or some kind of whole wheat flour—too dense, in our opinion. Not to mention, the Philadelphia cream cheese was practically nonexistent. I completely understand that they want to cut costs, but this is just too much. I can understand the wait time, but the crepes left us with a very poor experience.

Upon arrival, you sense indifference from the staff. The menu is slow to arrive, and the food is lukewarm and disappointingly tasty. Today, I ordered a chocolate marshmallow with high expectations, but to my surprise, it tasted like curdled milk, not chocolate at all. I wanted to order a cheesecake and comment on the chocolate, but the staff, on their phones, were unfriendly and just kept saying, "This is how the recipe is." I will never set foot in this place again; it's very disappointing for what it claims to be.

Used to be pretty good, but not any longer. Now the chairs are very badly stained, chair legs uneven so it wobbles, it seems like half the cold drinks on the menu are not available. Staff are young and don't give the impression they care. They didn't even greet us as we walked in. And the business uses DCC so if you pay with a foreign credit card be especially careful. Our bill for 175MXN had an American dollar equivalent of $17.50USD if we'd paid in dollars. Since it's the merchant who decides and sets the exchange rate on that, and has decided here at Huitzi to charge a rate of giving just 10 pesos per USD (current real rate is about 18!) I would now avoid this place based on that fact alone, since they're looking to nearly double the cost for foreigners who don't pay in pesos. And I'm a local so it doesn't directly affect me, but I really hate to see that kind of greed. So if you do still want to go here, then make sure to pay in pesos!! But ideally, just go somewhere else where the availability of items on the menu is better, the seating is clean and better maintained, the staff are friendlier, and the owner isn't so determined to gouge any foreigners who enter the place.

Me dejé guiar por los comentarios de Google y quedé decepcionada, encargué 3 platillos diferentes y ninguno tenían, tardaron 30min en servirme un café el cual sólo era una suspensión rara rebajada.

Don't come here!!! I ordered a berry salad, and it was more lettuce than anything 😞 . One of the waitresses was very rude, just coming up to the table and not saying hello, just waiting for orders and then turning away. The herbal tea I ordered... Really bad, with no flavor at all. The place and the design are nice and comfortable.
