Ambiente storico curioso da scoprire, piatti abbondanti con ricette storiche rivisitate dal cuoco

Bellissimo locale proprio nel cuore di Torino, quindi anche comodissimo a tutto. C'ero stata tempo fa ma ho ritrovato la stessa cortesia del personale (che parla anche un ottimo inglese), disponibile e attento ad ogni esigenza. Menù con numerosi piatti della tradizione piemontese. Piatti preparati con cura e davvero buonissimi! Un ottimo eistoche consiglio senz'altro. E complimenti allo staff!

Abbiamo cenato due sere consecutive al ristorante in occasione di una visita alla città, il personale di sala è attento e veloce, abbiamo assaggiato diversi piatti del menù, tra cui piatti tipici Piemenotesi, dagli antipasti ai dolci tutto particolarmente buono, porzioni abbondanti e ben presentati, in particolare la carne è strepitosa, non da meno i primi piatti e i dolci. Bevuto Barbera d’Asti superiore top.

Tutto perfetto. Location mistica con quadri e sculture religiosi. I piatti tipici piemontesi che riproducono le ricette dei religiosi dei conventi e monasteri in chiave contemporanea… il servizio di tutto lo staff impeccabile…che dire… ci torneremo sicuramente!

Sabato sera ho festeggiato qui la mia laurea e non avrei potuto scegliere posto migliore. Il ristorante si trova in pieno centro a Torino, in una location elegante e accogliente, perfetta per un’occasione speciale. La cucina tipica piemontese è semplicemente straordinaria: piatti preparati con cura, ingredienti di qualità e sapori autentici che raccontano la tradizione del territorio. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, attento e cordiale, sempre con il sorriso. Ogni portata è arrivata nei tempi giusti e con una presentazione curata. L’atmosfera calda e raffinata ha reso la serata ancora più indimenticabile. Consiglio La Badessa a chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza autentica della cucina piemontese nel cuore di Torino. Un posto che merita davvero 5 stelle❤️

Il miglior vitel tonné provato a Torino! Lo consiglio anche e soprattutto a chi ritiene sia un alimento troppo pesante, perché a la Badessa sarà un ricordo leggero che porterete con voi tanto quanto la meravigliosa piazza in cui è situata. Vi segnalo anche la battuta al coltello e lo zabaione. Il tutto accompagnato ovviamente da un calice di Barbera di ottimo livello. I prezzi sono assolutamente in linea con la qualità e non ultimo con il servizio cortese del personale. Infine, l'amaro della Badessa, erbe e fiori da provare. Ci rivedremo presto.

If you visit Turin you have to try the local cuisine. La Badessa is the perfect place to do it👌🏻. Delicious dishes, professional and very friendly service and the atmosphere of the place, you have to experience it yourself, it can't be described ☺️

Ottimo ristorante in una location storica ed elegante, con splendidi quadri antichi alle pareti che contribuiscono a creare un’atmosfera molto piacevole. Prenotato su consiglio dell’hotel in cui soggiornavamo. Abbiamo optato per il menù degustazione Classico: piatti della tradizione ben eseguiti, tre portate più dolce a scelta, il tutto a un prezzo molto corretto di 50 €. In accompagnamento, un ottimo Barbaresco. Servizio attento e professionale con grande attenzione per le intolleranze, forse un po’ troppo rapido: la cena si è conclusa in circa un’ora, ritmo che toglie un po’ di piacere a un’esperienza che meriterebbe più calma. Nel complesso, ristorante di qualità in cui tornare.

Locale molto caratterisco, all interno si trovano tanti quadri e statuette provenienti da qualche convento da dove provengono anche alcune ricette proposte. Piccola cantinetta dei vini che si amalgama bene alla struttura. Cibo ottimo e molto ricercato, con prodotti tipici piemontesi rivisitati. Servizio veloce e impeccabile. Prezzo nella media.

La badessa è un ottimo ristorante che offre una scelta ampia di piatti raffinati anche dai sapori piemontesi. L'attesa è stata breve, sia per prendere l'ordinazione sia per per l'arrivo dei piatti. La location è particolare perché vi sono molti ritratti con le relative descrizioni. L'accoglienza davvero calda, personale gentile e professionale. Inoltre, ci hanno offerto sia l'amaro della casa sia un assaggio del locale amaro San Simone.

Il locale è situato in una delle piazze più belle di Torino, con un affaccio straordinario. L'interno, caldo e confortevole, rievoca nei decori il concetto del monastero a cui richiama il nome e che rappresenta il filo conduttore del menù. Il servizio è accogliente e gentile e l'allegria sopperisce a qualche lieve svista. Molto piacevoli gli antipasti e i primi. Un po' più deboli i secondi. Buonissimi tutti i dessert. Nel nostro caso, abbiamo scelto à la carte, ma ci sono dei menù interessanti con un prezzo fisso, che paiono un'ottima opzione anche a livello di costi. Consigliato anche per l'eccellente insonorizzazione che vale il prezzo un filo alto - da dire che abbiamo scelto un'ottima bottiglia di vino. Comunque, riuscire a fare una conversazione mangiando qualcosa di buono, senza sentire di cosa parlano gli altri tavoli, be', non ha prezzo! In generale, vale in pieno una visita!

Food and drinks were good trust me not but the service, like the others have mentioned its not at its best especially one person in particular. Dont drag down the rest of the team because they were excellent. When it comes to the food, the veal cheek was very soft, agnolotti was flavourful and the desserts were a delight. But I got to say the truffle was a missed on the tuna tartare, it was kinda tasteless.

The tall, ambivalent, sad waiter sets an unfortunate tone for the evening. I can’t imagine what we customers might have done to justify such poor behavior. The rest of the staff manage a bit more enthusiasm but the vibe is depressing. Other small things, we were not given a lamp until we’re almost done and it didn’t work anyway. We had the set menu. The amuse bouche was egg salad (?), not what I expected at a good restaurant. The antipasti were largely forgettable, tuna salad (!) wrapped in a slice of beef, a small disk of tuna tartare with 3 slices of tasteless black truffle and a decent crab salad. The agnolotti were quite tasty in a flavorful brown sauce and the veal cheeks secondi was also quite good. Dessert was a deconstructed cheesecake with some biscuits and a few pieces of fruit. Okay but not memorable. I had a mediocre chianti for 22€. I felt the Piemonte wines were marked up too high. Decent food with poor service make for a bad experience. The evening was really 3 stars but I am giving 4 just for the food. Also, take some time to rethink your antipasti and amuse bouche.

Except for the superb service, the restaurant didn't live up to expectations. Cabbage heavily covers other flavours in the tagliolini, semifreddo was good though. Bit expensive for what you get. Reservations highly recommended for weekend/bank holidays

I experienced bad service. Our waiter was slow and unhappy. Before we got a meal, another waiter asks us for a dolce. After we got a meal our waiter brought a bread that should be before. Fossana beef was excelent but tagliani tartufo was bad. You shouldnt sell this meal when you dont have a ?good/fresh? tartufo. We had dry and not smelling salsa of mashrooms that can be any other kind of mushrooms. Pasta was good. There was no slices of tartufo like on meals of other guests. Slices of tartufo on fassona beef didnt smell too. Wine chardoney was good. Generally we were dissatisfied because of bad tartufo and weak service.

The restaurant is in a perfect location, in a beautiful piazza with a great outdoor space. The setting is perfect. The selection is excellent with options for everyone from typical Torino food and vegetarian options. Food is perfectly presented unfortunately it lacks of seasoning. Everything I had was really bland. No salt on the food and no salt on the table. My braised veal needed a little more cooking to make it nice and tender and it lacked some sauce. The night we went they were severely understaffed. There was one single waiter for 30 tables and the poor guy was running like crazy. This caused a long delay between service. Too bad. Price is fair.

Worst restaurant and service ever. They forced us to order far more food than we wanted, and despite clearly speaking English, they continued to speak only Italian, forcing us to order more. Even though we had already consumed seven bottles of wine, they brought us more Barolo, tried to open it, and pressured us to order dessert.

NOT A PIEDMONTESE RESTAURANT TOURIST TRAP SCAM The food was awful and disappointing. We wanted to try traditional Piedmontese dishes but most of the menu had nothing to do with the food from this region. 4 of the dishes were from Tuna, that ingredient isn’t available in Piedmonte let alone the whole of Italy. The only dish that was actually Piedmontese, the Ravioli, was very bland and average. None of the dishes we had were good. The location was nice and the service was good. The dinner was twice the price as any other “Piedmontese” restaurant in Torino. (40€ per person). Do not be fooled. Wasted Saturday evening.
