Arrivo con mio marito al ristorante e siamo accolti con gentilezza dal personale che subito ci fa sedere e ci consiglia sui piatti del menù. Io ho preso la degustazione piemontese, che consiglio. I piatti sono di quantità giusta e la qualità del cibo ottima. La carne del brasato era tenerissima. I ravioli del plin buonissimi, il ripieno dal gusto delicato si sposa benissimo con la crema di grana. Sono previsti anche piatti per vegetariani. Sicuramente ci torneremo

Piccola perla gastronomica incastonata nel centro di Torino, questo ristorante con una calda atmosfera accogliente ti predispone subito nella migliore disposizione d'animo per gustare le prelibatezze della cucina piemontese. Carta dei vini interessante dove è impossibile non trovare qualcosa che soddisfi qualsiasi abbinamento con il menu. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e disponibile a spiegare le particolarità di ciascun piatto o vino aiutandoci nella scelta. Esperienza veramente ottima, dobbiamo tornarci assolutamente.

This is such an amazing traditional and friendly restaurant. The chef prepared all the food all by himself, he is a one man show, and adapted the meals to suit preferences. The service was sooooooooo lovely. They prepared a special pasta for my 4-year-old daughter. I ordered sword fish and my husband ordered the beef fillet with wine. My aunt ordered the sphaghetti with prawns. The beef is a must try dish. The wine flavour is so rich, so special that I have never tried in my life and I came from a food paradise. We also tried the fried porcini mushrooms and caprese salad, both were intensein flabours and amazing. The entrance of the restaurant was small and might not be appealing. However, this is a restaurant you must try when you are in Turin.

Amazing food and stupendous service! I have never been taken care of so well as at our dinner tonight. The food was absolutely delicious - the pasta stuffed with beef with cheese outside was outstanding. Each dish was special, the vegetables were some of the best I’ve ever had. Our server was very sweet and attentive. We loved everything about this place and we will be sure to tell our friends to eat here - mangia, mangia!

This was an absolutely amazing experience. It's a must-visit in Turin. The chef is very friendly and inviting. His hospitality is to the point that you feel you have been invited to his home. There is a lot of personal contact and you really feel that the chef takes pride in his work and wants to share this enthusiasm with his guests. The chef speaks great English, so there is no problem if you don't speak Italian. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy and inviting - furthermore it's located in a beautiful part of town. Small quirks like having a beer served in a red wine glass are very fun. I had two nice courses: an agnolotti and a braised veal with wine. The dishes were not extravagant, but very tasty and well-portioned. In addition, my girlfriend is a celiac, and the chef is very accommodating for this type of allergy. She had plenty of options to choose from. In case you have a dietary restriction that forced you to eat gluten-free, this could be a consideration for you. All in all, thanks for the wonderful evening and the best of luck to the chef and his staff! I will visit this restaurant again if I'm ever in Turin again.

This is a special place, with a warm, softly-lit ambiance. Chef Angelo and his wife Tina were excellent, attentive hosts, going over menu options if you have food sensitivities like celiac/gluten. The food was excellent and imaginative with w enough variety to more than please a variety of palates. Fish was excellent. Pasta al dente and tasty. Desserts sublime. Cant recommend enough. Pro tip: can will probably leave you at an open plaza along XX Septembre. Walk back along the road (don’t go in the plaza no matter what google maps seems to indicate) about 40 feet and look for the rose-lit windows (Rosa!) you won’t regret it. Oh and did I tell you it was 5-10 Euros less expensive per dish without any sacrifice in quality or freshness? UPDATE: Returned for our last night in Turin. Didn’t want to risk a hit or miss for our last meal. Did not disappoint. Angelo is meticulous with his ingredients and remembered everyone’s preferences. Dinner was superb - pasta, gnocchi, aubergine, veal, lamb — all succulent. I even braved the 2 chocolate dessert which was so dense it had its own gravity (and covered in gold leaf!) Cinque Stella! (5 stars!!)

We stumbled across this restaurant by chance this week. I cannot wait to go back to experience the beautiful tastes of the most exquisite foods you could possibly want to eat! This chef is a genius and each dish apart from being delicious, is presented with such such care and creativity. My lamb chops were honestly the best I have ever had, and I would happily order them again next time. The staff are really helpful and friendly which is always a bonus when eating out in restaurants.

We visited on a saturday evening and so place was not full yet. The 2 ladies were very attentive and kind and explained the menu well. Cuisine is typical of Piemonte and although portions are not large, food was very well cooked and presented. Desserts plates are very creative. Restaurant is quite small with around 6 tables so it won't be too crowded and creates a very warm ambience during the festive period. Excellent dining experience!

L'offerta è curata e di alto livello. Il servizio è premuroso e delicatamente empatico. Porzioni non abbondantissime ma di un qualità a mio avviso ben sopra la media. L'ambiente e piccolo ma ben curato, peccato il bagno fuori dal locale. Un grazie al cameriere Angelo che ha condiviso con noi un pezzetto della sua cordialità e umanità. E, ovviamente, i nostri più sentiti ringraziamenti allo chef che ci ha regalato un'esperienza indimenticabile.

Proprietaria molto gentile,ambiente confortevole apparte il bagno all esterno direi scomodo nella stagione invernale. Al cibo ho dato 3 perché pur essendo abbastanza buono a nostro parere le quantità erano scarse. Prezzo un po alto rispetto ai piatti.

Locale molto carino e ben arredato. L’accoglienza fredda e distaccata della cameriera non ci hanno messo a nostro agio. Lo chef decisamente più gentile e affabile. Cibo nella media, non eccezionale, alcuni piatti molto buoni come gli gnocchi di patate, altri come la tagliata (lasciata evidentemente riposare per tempo insufficiente e cotta a temperatura troppo bassa) meno, soprattutto considerando il prezzo. Conto finale un po’ troppo salato rapportato all’esperienza, i prezzi comunque sono in linea con gli altri ristoranti del centro.

We visited La Pergola Rosa while we were in Turin for the weekend to watch the rugby with our large group. The restaurant delivered solid food and a welcoming atmosphere. What threw us off, though, was that full rounds of food were brought out without being ordered - not just a plate here or there, but entire courses for the whole table. We figured they wanted us to try some local Piedmont dishes in addition to what we’d already ordered, but everything ended up on the bill. Not sure if it was the language barrier, but just something to be aware of. Otherwise, the meal was enjoyable, and the tiramisu was terrific.

From entering the restaurant at 8.00 PM it took the appalling excuse of the waiter ( son I suspect of the owners) to come to the table at 8.20 to ask us did we want a drink!!! Along with our order …

Esperienza deludente, purtroppo non lo consiglio Siamo rimasti davvero delusi dall’esperienza in questo ristorante. Appena seduti, mentre stavamo ordinando, la signora che ci ha accolto ci ha messi in imbarazzo davanti agli altri clienti perché volevamo ordinare un solo piatto a testa. Ha insistito più volte affinché prendessimo altro, al limite del forzarci, e alla fine, mentre si dirigeva in cucina, ha commentato ad alta voce con tono sarcastico: “Siamo diventati il locale dei primi piatti!”. Una mancanza di rispetto che ha rovinato completamente l’atmosfera. Nonostante lo presentino come un locale di lusso, l’accoglienza è stata pessima e il bagno lascia molto a desiderare: per raggiungerlo bisogna uscire all’esterno in una corte e utilizzare un bagno in box prefabbricato, assolutamente inadeguato, specialmente d’inverno. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, niente di speciale: piatti nella media, ma certamente non all’altezza delle aspettative né dei prezzi. Unica nota positiva, il resto del personale è stato gentile e disponibile, ma purtroppo ciò non è bastato a salvare l’esperienza complessiva. Non lo consiglio, soprattutto ai turisti (come noi): ci sono sicuramente opzioni migliori in zona.

La Pergola Rosa Locale che mi ha delusa per tanti aspetti: accolti con gentilezza dal proprietario e accompagnati al tavolo dalla cameriera (sempre semplice e cortese), siamo poi passate alla conoscenza della signora che ha preso la comanda con l’aria di chi serve due pezzenti non degne di occupare posto… commentando con una risatina acida quando abbiamo scelto di dividere un primo e un secondo. La signora, sempre con quell’aria di superiorità, ci invita a ordinare un calice; noi scegliamo una bottiglia e lei ci guarda come se non fosse sicura che potessimo permettercela… e con la sua altezzosità fuori luogo ci porta la bottiglia scelta, già stappata 🤦‍♀️ (cosa che si sono ben guardati dal fare con gli avventori del tavolo accanto, trattati con ben altri modi). Anche una coppia vicino a noi ha avuto a che fare con la gentilezza della signora, che ha risposto con la solita risatina da presa in giro alla lamentela su una comanda sbagliata, portata al loro tavolo e “sistemata” malamente (non sostituita) dopo essere tornata in cucina. Altra esperienza degna di nota: il bagno. Ho scoperto, con grande sorpresa, che si trova fuori dal locale 🤦‍♀️. Bisogna attraversare un cortile esterno (con 2° fuori) e ha l’aspetto di un bagno dell’autogrill. La signorilità sta nei modi gentili, non in un atteggiamento altezzoso.

This place is horrible and expensive. Well maybe we should have been more specific in our critique. But actually it was for your sake that we did not get into details. Let us explain. The horrible thing was partly the feeling we got from the waiter, and partly from some of the food and the wine. The expensive evaluation is mainly from the overall ratio between quality, service and price. And then we end with a very expensive meal with a service that made us feel uncomfortable. When you compare to other places in Torino, you get very good service and food for the price of 133 euro. If you want we can mention a lot of places. And its not for 3 adult coperti. Its for 2 adults and one 4 year old child. The truffle dishes was ok, especially the risotto. And the price for these 2 dishes was very reasonable. The salad and the brasato was ok. The plin we thought had a very strong taste of lam. And our daughter, who normally loves plin, did not like them. Maybe that is just a matter of taste. The tagliata was in our opinion something that should not have been served like that. We asked it to be medium. It came very dry, tasteless, and totally grey, as it was "well done" not medium at all. This dry meat was breaded with a soaky and tasteless breading. If you bread the meat, should it not be crisp? Like a japanese Gyukatsu, with the rosa meat inside and the crispy breading on the outside. 20 Euros for this tagliata is not acceptable in our eyes. Hence expensive, as we did not even finish it. We thought the desserts had a low quality and were not freshly made. We had eaten at "Ristorante Tuorlo vino e cucina" for lunch and compared to their freshly made desserts at the same price, they were world apart. Expensive when considered the quality. But the worst. was the service from a somewhat passive agressive waiter. We actually felt sorry for her, as she seemed angry and sad. But it made us very uncomfortable, and of course that is a reason why we think this experience was horrible and expensive. And actually it also stopped us from complaining at the restaurant, as that would have been the right and most fair thing to do. The other waiter, a little older and the chef, seemed really nice, smiling with a polite and positive attitude. The wine: One of us really did not feel like drinking wine, but the waiter was kind of pushy. We said that we considered a Barolo, but she was very eager to pour a Langhe, without having a sense for the costumer mood or wishes. It was obvious that one of us did not want wine. The other did want wine, a glass of barolo. The waiter seemed irritated and as she wanted to pour the langhe. But we insisted on the barolo, so she went to get it. This is not a feeling you want when you order wine in a restaurant like this. But the worst is yet to come. When she came back with the wine bottle she had twisted the label of the wine into her hand, when pouring the wine, so the label was invisable. I was trying to chat about the wine, telling I like barolo. She quickly poured the glass and said: "yes Barolo" and went away with the bottle, still with the label turned to her hand. I was baffled and could not believe this. Even in small and more casual places they would of course show you the label of the wine etc. telling about the wine or at least let the costumer ask. This behavior in a restaurant like this is just unacceptable. The wine did not taste like barolo by the way, and I did not finish the glass. They charged 12 Euro for this glass, with that horrible service. Thats just expensive and unacceptable. Furthermore the waiter seemed to get more and more agressive and unpleasant as the night went by. It was like she was in an argument and fight with someone in the kitchen. Some disagreement was surely going on. There was even yelling. At some point she seemed to have been crying also. We of course felt bad for her.But we did not understand what was going on. Towards the end of the meal she was nearly throwing the spoons for the desserts onto the table. Full review on tripadvisor. Not enough space here.
