Serata tra amici, abbiamo preso 6 menù di mare e uno di terra. Tutto molto buono, piatti presentati molto bene, servizio eccellente. Proprietario molto simpatico e molto attento al cliente, disponibile ad ogni richiesta: abbiamo chiesto se nel menu fisso di pesce potevamo cambiare il primo e siamo stati accontentati tutti e 6 A fine cena ci ha anche offerto l’amaro fatto da loro, veramente buono. Quindi direi tutto perfetto, anche il prezzo del menù, 40€ quello dí pesce e 33€ quello di terra, forse un po’ caro il prezzo del coperto e del caffè, ma questo passa in secondo piano dopo aver passato una bella serata. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente

Siamo stati a Torino l’11 novembre per guardare la partita, ho trovato questo ristorante cercando su google. I miei complimenti vanno al personale e alla cucina, ottimi piatti, gentilezza e ho apprezzato la calma tra una portata e l’altra, è stato un pranzo rilassante. Abbiamo scelto il menu degustazione da 33€ e prevedeva un antipasto,un primo, un secondo ed il dolce, bevande escluse. Tutto davvero curato nei dettagli e ottimo! Unica pecca, sullo scontrino, abbiamo pagato due amari ma ne avevamo preso soltanto uno che era il mio!

Osteria inserita al piano terra di un palazzo relativamente moderno nella zona nord di Torino. L'ambiente è spazioso, piuttosto semplice ma privo di un particolare tipo di arredo, ma la cucina è curata, anche se a pranzo non propone un menù particolarmente ricco. Esso è costituito da un paio di primi e di secondi con relativi contorni. La scelta può essere effettuata ad abbinamenti fissi, a tris o alla carta. I prezzi onesti, intorno ai 20 euro, coperto, dolce e caffè a parte. Se siete di corsa e da quelle parti ve lo consiglio!

Mangiai qui la prima volta per una cena di matrimonio qualche anno fa.. sabato sera, un po' per caso, ho avuto piacere di ripetere l'esperienza. Dopo questa serata sono sicura che non passerà di nuovo così tanto tempo per poter riprovare le delizie di questa osteria, veramente speciali! Locale un po' rustico ma personale super gentile e qualità impeccabile! Consigliatissimo!! UPDATE 8/3/25 Purtroppo mi trovo costretta a modificare la mia recensione, non con il desiderio di svalutare il posto senza logica ma nella speranza che le mie parole possano essere spunto di miglioramento. Ho cenato qui sabato sera 8/3/25 e purtroppo il locale mi è apparso come il fantasma di quello di qualche anno fa. Le combinazioni dei piatti non hanno convinto e anche il servizio è apparso come confusionario e illogico, per non parlare dell'incredibile lentezza.. avevamo prenotato per festeggiare una serata importante a seguito delle dimissioni ospedaliere di mio papà, ma purtroppo la serata non è stata all'altezza delle aspettative, anzi, il tutto è stato particolarmente deludente. Non so cosa sia cambiato nella formazione dello staff del ristorante ma spero che possano tornare presto ai vecchi tempi.

We dined at Osteria La Rotonda dei Facchinetti for a "murder mystery" themed dinner, featuring four actors performing among the tables. The entertainment was undoubtedly the highlight of the evening: engaging, well-structured, and enjoyable, if not particularly original. However, one less fortunate incident deserves mention: a group of diners, unaware of the event, reacted uncomfortably to a playful warning about the excessive noise, almost giving the impression that they too were part of the show, playing the "bad and ugly"—with decidedly melodramatic tones—which somewhat detracted from the atmosphere. On the culinary front, the experience fell short of expectations. The courses, mostly simple and limited in number, were poorly prepared, lacking in character, and generally bland. The rice, in particular, was served overcooked and flavorless, making it the least successful dish. Even the wine offered by the glass was of poor quality, tasteless and unappealing. Considering what was on offer, the value for money seems disappointing: the culinary offerings don't justify the price tag. In conclusion, an experience that's worth the theatrical entertainment—well-executed and entertaining—but from a gastronomic standpoint, it doesn't live up to expectations and doesn't encourage a return visit.

Purtroppo è la seconda volta che ci vengo e la prima volta non ho fatto recensione per non lasciarla negativa, ma anche questa volta non mi sono purtroppo trovato bene. Il titolare è simpatico e con molta passione, però purtroppo non basta. Il risotto ai frutti di mare Ve lo sconsiglio, quello delle buste già pronto è meglio, poi gli altri piatti non li voglio descrivere per non insultarli, l'unica cosa buona è stato l'amaro del capo alla fine, ma è tutto da rivedere anche gli spazi e i tavoli, troppi. Abbiamo speso anche parecchio, per correttezza lascio la foto dei prezzi del menù. Purtroppo sconsigliato.

It's no fun to write these reviews, but I can't help but share my experience at this restaurant on Saturday evening. We booked a table for four online at 8:45 PM; we arrived at the scheduled time and were seated at the first table right at the restaurant entrance, which proved uncomfortable as we had to get up a couple of times to allow for strollers; the wait staff even bumped into our chairs several times. The fact that it wasn't the best evening was further confirmed by the wait to order (about 45 minutes from when we sat down). We finally managed to get the attention of the person in charge of ordering and discussed what to order. We were drawn to the tasting menu, which specified that a minimum of two hours was required. We asked for details, since we'd already waited 45 minutes just to order, and were confirmed that two hours meant the entire menu lasted, and that the appetizers would arrive shortly. So all four of us opted for the same menu. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good choice. The wait grew longer and we didn't get anything, not even the simple appetizers we saw being brought to other tables. So we started asking for clarification, but no one could give us any answers, so they invited us to ask the lady who took our orders, who apparently was the only one who could explain. Well, the responses of the lady in charge of the dining room were aggressive and impolite to some simple questions we asked (just to give a few examples: when we said, "Excuse me, we're ready to order," she replied in an irritated tone, "The others will come first." When asked, "What's included in the mixed appetizers?" she replied, again in a questionable tone, "veal with tuna sauce." When asked for clarification on why the tables that arrived later had been served first, she replied, "What are you implying?" When we said we'd been waiting an hour for our appetizers, the response was, "I told you you'd have to wait. It's Saturday night, the restaurant is busy." Added to this, two of us, while going to the bathroom (across from the kitchen), overheard a waitress say she'd mixed up some "orders" that weren't there (probably ours at this point). So we asked the same waitress for an update on our order (at least on the appetizers), but she never came back to explain. At 10:20 PM, having only eaten some bread and breadsticks and drunk some wine and water, we decided to get up and leave. The unpleasant attitude didn't change even then, as we went to the cashier to pay for what we'd (only) drunk. Even there, in front of another customer who was paying before us, the restaurant manager pointed out in a confrontational tone that we couldn't understand how the restaurant works and that our reaction was unjustified. The evening ended with the owner/chef insisting that we remain seated at the table and that the dishes were ready. But we, tired of everything that had happened, had lost the will to stay for dinner, so we invited him not to insist but to charge us for what we'd drunk so we could leave. Well, when he did the bill, he decided to charge us for the appetizers, which we obviously hadn't eaten. We were willing to pay for them if they'd had them taken away. But this request also ended unhappily. In fact, he told us to go to hell, yelling at us to leave his restaurant. For the record, about two hours later, we received a message from the restaurant owner apologizing for his behavior and suggesting we return to try his cuisine (offering us a significant discount), declaring that the evening had gotten out of hand. A message that was certainly appreciated, but it still couldn't completely erase the unpleasant evening we'd just had.
