Nice, very quaint place. Excellent, high-quality food. Prices are fair for the quality (I'm talking about the main course), while the first courses are high. The final price is a bit mysterious; without a bill, I received a strange price.

A couple's dinner at this recommended restaurant. The place is nice, the food is good, although the portions are small and the prices are higher than average for the category. I'd like to suggest a few things that could have earned it a higher star rating: Avoid allowing people to eat in the cold, given the temperature inside; it certainly wasn't comfortable. Correct typos on the menu. Serve the dishes at the same time. If you book with the fork, you must apply the discount indicated on the menu, excluding drinks only. People also pay attention to the price without necessarily having to point it out when they get the bill.

Let's just say the experience wasn't entirely satisfying, especially since the term "trattoria" doesn't fully reflect either the service or the warm welcome one would expect from a place of this type. The dishes, it must be said, were truly delicious, well-prepared, and of high quality, but the overall atmosphere surrounding the meal left much to be desired. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt an unpleasant sensation: I didn't feel like a customer, but rather a "tolerated" guest. And that's not a good sign for anyone looking for a relaxing and convivial experience. Another aspect that struck me negatively was the lack of attention to hygiene in the restrooms: before starting lunch, I wanted to wash my hands, but had to dry them with toilet paper, as there was no drying facility. The only alternative was a shared towel, used by all customers—a detail that, unfortunately, doesn't convey a good impression of the place. During service, I had to personally ask for bread with my second course, and the meat was served without being asked how I preferred it, which should be one of the first things a restaurant serving meat does to its customers. Overall, this place can only be considered thanks to TheFork's discounts, as the prices, in my opinion, are decidedly high for the service offered. Furthermore, I had the distinct feeling of being treated differently than other "regular" customers because I booked through TheFork. Finally, when it came to the bill, I noticed a slight discrepancy in the total amount compared to what I had ordered. The difference was minimal, but I preferred to ask for confirmation. On that occasion, I also requested a detailed receipt, but the restaurant owner only gave me a generic receipt marked "fixed menu," with no specification of the individual courses or prices. This, unfortunately, is another of the restaurant's negatives and does not contribute to a sense of transparency and professionalism. In conclusion, if it's true that "the morning sets the tone for the day," I'd say that my first impressions, in this case, were confirmed throughout the meal. I wouldn't completely discourage this place, especially for the quality of the food, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone accustomed to more attentive service, where guests are pampered and not simply "welcomed."

BE CAREFUL IF YOU BOOK WITH THE FORK DISCOUNT. Dish suggestions that are "off-menu" will not be counted toward your discount, a move they invented that violates every rule for booking with The Fork. It smells musty, and the prices are too high for a simple trattoria.

READ CAREFULLY TO THE END! A dishonest restaurateur charges extra and doesn't issue a receipt. We've been reported to the authorities because, after promising a refund (thus admitting his dishonesty), he doesn't issue one, and during yet another phone call to demand payment, he mocks us. Despite the reviews warning us to beware of the fraudulent owner, we decide to go anyway. Couple's dinner on Saturday, November 15, booked through The Fork with a €50 discount from accumulated Yums. Nice place, very good food (and this is a real shame given the final treatment we received, because we would have gladly returned with friends and family). Here's a summary of the dishes: 1 veal with tuna sauce €17 1 porcini ravioli with toma cheese €30 (off-menu, with a crazy price that wasn't communicated to us) 1 truffle ravioli €30 (off-menu, with a crazy price that wasn't communicated to us) 1 beef fillet €26 1 capocollo roll €22 1 bottle of Langhe Dolcetto wine €20 2 Parisian desserts €14 1 coffee (€2) 2 covers (€7, crazy) The total is €168, but when we get to the cashier, the sly guy tells us verbally that it's €130, already discounted from the €50 for The Fork (so the total was €180). €12 is missing; we don't know what it's for, but we immediately take it in stride and go home (obviously without a receipt), where we realize the theft. At that point, we contacted the owner by email and phone, who admitted his scam and promised us a refund, which, after seven days, still hadn't arrived. So, after yet another reminder phone call, where we threatened to sue, he laughed at us, probably accustomed to this type of threat given his consistently similar reviews. The following day, I filed a formal complaint with the relevant authorities, as well as reporting it to the Guardia di Finanza and to The Fork itself. It's very unpleasant to have to deal with such a situation in a pleasant place and with food so excellent that I would return if it weren't for the final mix-up. Don't go there, or you'll be scammed!

Terrible experience, I don't recommend it to anyone who uses the The Fork app or who is NOT ITALIAN. My friend and I had booked at 9pm. When we arrived there, the owner made us come back after 1 hour. On our return, we waited again for 10 minutes to prepare the table. When we arrived, the owner didn't welcome us or anything, not even asking us about the reservations we had made on The Fork. When we sat down, the owner already started being rude towards my friend. We ate at prices that were too high and portions that were too small, considering that we were in a RESTAURANT, not in a STARRED restaurant, which should be a welcoming place, but it wasn't like that at all. We could already hear people sitting at a table saying various unpleasant things about us. We got to the end of dinner, went to the bathroom to wash our hands and leave, and we could hear people outside saying "Look at these Maranzas." As we were leaving and heading towards the exit, the owner told us that we had to pay €39, but we had already paid everything with the Yums, which were €50 for me and my friend, since we had 2 reservations for 2 tables, which the owner DIDN'T ASK FOR at the entrance. The owner started to get angry and rude towards us, discriminating against us and threatening to beat us up if we tried to talk to him, also asking me why I was speaking that way when I was only trying to be respectful towards him, since that's what he didn't do towards us. The owner claimed that in his opinion we didn't have half a euro, even comparing us to the public figure Don Ali, since he's our fellow countryman, claiming that we were being smart and threatening to lock us in the restaurant and beat us up. Only after the police arrived did the owner cancel a reservation on TheFork, but we still haven't received anything. Then, by saying "I'll just call him and he'll come down," everything was resolved by the police and a gentleman present. Terrible experience, the worst of my life. I don't recommend it if you're a young foreigner and if you use TheFork.
