The Spicy Chowmein (Thai spicy) was really spicy, liked it. Panang curry medium was not spicy at all but was tasty. This time tried the Green curry with chicken and it was amazing.
The best Thai spot in the area. I'll be back! Crispy Lemongrass Chix, Papaya Salad, Yellow Curry.
I love the curry! My go to fav is the Panang! This place never disappoints when it comes to yummy Thai food. The veggie egg rolls are always a must when you get the curry so you can dip it in the sauce 🤤
Great Thai food, home cooked style. Love the basil tofu and Tom yum noodle soup. Thai iced coffee and tea great way to finish off the spicy food
Ubon Thai is one of our go-to spots for consistently fresh and delicious Thai food. The staff are always polite, quick, and efficient—even remembering our names at one point, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, making it a great place to unwind whether it's a quiet night or a busy dinner rush. We always order the kawprow, satay, and the curry-stuffed wontons—each dish is packed with flavor and always served fresh. Even when it’s crowded (and it often is), the experience is totally worth it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality Thai food with great service in a comfortable setting.
Delicious and affordable. The first time I went I asked to go back again because eveything tasted delicous. Plus you can make custom ramen I got a fried chicken, dried seaweed, and flavored egg in my ramen and it was delicous. I hope my review helps you decide what to eat because once you go you get addicted😂 Large portions too so you will always have leftovers
My go-to place for Thai food! Love everything here!
My wife and I love this place so much that we’ve eaten here about 2x a week for 4 years and still get excited every time. The staff and owners are all extremely nice people as well!
We ordered take out, and the food was excellent.
Food was great. I personally enjoyed the crab fried rice with medium spice. Pad see ew was a hit with the kids
This restaurant is my current favorite restaurant. I've been to many Thia restaurants but the food here tastes the best. I mostly order yellow or green curry but the pineapple fried rice is good too. My girlfriend orders the salads and other dishes and she's told me their delicious as well so there you go. We've been coming here for about 3 years now and not one time has it dissappointed us. By the way, the service is excellent, staff are very friendly and costs are very reasonable. So if you're looking for excellent tasting food then wait no longer and give UBON Thia Kitchen a chance because you won't regret it.
I love this place and so does my whole family. Been eating Thai food from this spot for a few years now. When my grandmother was alive she always used to ask for this restaurant and we would get it delivered. So it's pretty special to me 💕
Stopped in for appetizers, had the Angel Wings, Curry Crispy Won Tons and ordered Pad Thai to go. Everything was excellent. Large portions, fast service, and delicious food! Can't wait to go back.
At ten tables sitting two each, Ubon Thai Kitchen at Torrance Crossroads offers quick and efficient polite service and a bevy of Thai dishes that best reflects this region. This time we had fish cakes for appetizers, I had duck curry which went well with black rice. Stepmom had crispy lemon chicken and Dad had Thai boat noodles which I had last time when I went with cousin, uncle, and mom. The only thing that could make the experience better is a bathroom for customers. As is, the flavor profile and execution of the dishes are as precise as we can imagine Thai home cooking comfort foods to taste. Thank you to the staff. I also had Taro Milk Tea this time which was soothing and very sweet but not cloyingly so. You can't take fifty people here to dine together but you can order what you want for fifty for takeout or take home, hot to go. I pray the Thailand Cambodia war ends soon. To try Cambodian dishes, Little Cambodia Town is in Long Beach. I love both. If you want to try Thai food, Ubon Thai Kitchen is a solid place. Please try calling to see times open and to make reservations as their website requests. It's worth it.
We had a great meal at Ubon for lunch. The food was very fresh and flavorful and they had some unique options on the menu. The server was a very nice gentleman who made good suggestions. The dining room is pretty compact and I imagine they get pretty busy as the food is excellent. The peanut sauce with the fresh rolls is very distinct and better than others I have tried while the crying tiger beef is extremely tender and comes with another excellent sauce. The Tom Yum broth was perfection and the sizzling seafood was very tender and tasty and not super spicy but a bit of a kick. Overall this is a great place to grab a meal while shopping or anytime. The location is the far corner of the shopping center back near the in and out burger and mini IHOP. This is some great tasting Thai food with big flavors.. the prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center which is all free of course. Overall this place was great and we will be back to try more of the menu at Ubon Thai Kitchen.
This is the best Thai restaurant in the South Bay. I've been living in Torrance for the last 20 years and can't say I had anything better when it comes to Thai cuisine. Their food is authentic, fresh, and delicious. Unless you can truly handle spiciness, I would be cautious when ordering spicy since they are truly Thai spicy; to a point that you'll be willing to drink sriracha to kill the heat. Fast and friendly service. Great good. Cute atmosphere for a casual meal. Highly recommend especially during Fall/ Winter season. Expect to pay around $25-35 per person when ordering appetizers and drinks.
This is the best Thai place I've eaten at. It has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in the South Bay over the last couple years. The food is great. The service is wonderful. The employees are very nice, welcoming and polite. Highly recommend coming here to eat.
I sometimes forget this place exists but I love this small establishment. It feels like home, very sweet stuff and amazing food.
Yummm! My friend and I went here before a movie and were so pleasantly surprised. Extremely friendly service, great portions, decent prices. Tom Kha soup + shrimp: This soup is so creamy and delicious. Reminds me of one I had in Phuket. And they serve in a dish that keeps the soup hot. I will be going back for more it’s very comforting Fresh rolls: Honestly they were just great portions inside the roll and very fresh ingredients Egg rolls: my friend ordered these and she said they were fine but that’s typical with fried rolls Fried rice + chicken: My friend also ordered this and absolutely loved this dish Definitely a safe and tasty spot to go back to!
Stumbled upon this place while looking for lunch. Have a very affordable lunch special including curry/rice, salad and egg roll which was surprisingly filling. Coming here was so refreshing from the normal American cuisine. Flavor profile is authentic, not the absolute best curry ever had but I would gladly come here again. Also got a free Tai tea for checking in and it was one of the best Tai team's I've had in a while. Awesome lunch!
Try it out!! It’s sooo good! The food is amazing and the service is really great. The location is small but that doesn’t really matter to me because the food is totally worth it. It was our first time there and I can’t wait to go back! Tom Yum Seafood Soup - we ordered in large size which was big enough to share with two, maybe even three people. The broth had the perfect amount of spicy. They had a mix of seafood that included fish, shrimp, scallops, muscles, calamari (I think), and probably other types of seafood that I don’t quite remember. Served super hot just the way I like it. Pad Thai - Delicious!!! Pad Thai Combination which includes all meats is always my go to and this one exceeds most that I’ve had. Their plate had a generous amount of noodles, bean sprouts in the side so you can mix them in to avoid them getting soggy. Yumm! Crispy Pork with Chinese Broccoli - I’ve never had anything like it. It was so so good. The pork was definitely crispy. It had that crunch you expect and it doesn’t disappoint. They serve a whole coconuts!! That alone deserves 5 stars!! If you want something very spicy, ask for Thai spicy.
First time coming and we had an overall great experience. Food came out quick and hot, and was delicious! Service was also great! The server was sweet, attentive, and helpful with answering questions. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area.
Very nice place to grab a bite. A lot of customers takes out. I tried Khao Soi and Thai coffee with bubbles. I do like Khao Soi they use the noodles and pickles of traditional beef noodles and add Thai coconut soup base with chicken. Drumsticks are so tender it taste awesome! I’ll pass on Thai coffee next time.
Wow!! I was going to give this place 4 stars because they have no restroom and I think that is not right! But………this place made up for it with it’s amazing food! I am absolutely blown away by this place. The food is amazing, the service and staff where awesome! One of the best Thai places I have ever eaten at! Great job!! 🤙🤙🤙🤙
This place is a gem even it's a small restaurant. They served the best pad Thai ever. It's chewy and so delicious. I ordered papaya salad and grill beef, they're soooo good. If you're check-in on yelp, you'll get free Thai tea.
First time here! Food was amazing, I ordered the chicken and mushroom black pepper, not just the food was amazing but customer service and how clean the restaurant is. I loved it
I believe this place was excellent!!!! Salmon was a bit over cooked! But otherwise it was a perfect dinner. Love the peanut sauce!!!
The beef noodle soup was fresh. Lunch specials are very good deal with great tast too.
food was amazing, service was fantastic, would go again for sure

The food is excellent - loved the spice and flavor in the spicy Thai fried rice with black rice and Pad kee mao, as well as the taro boba tea. Ayla was amazing - we were a party of 6 and hadn’t realized that 18% tip was included, tipped again. Ayla pointed that out to us - an extra star for her honesty. We’ll back soon !
Super yummy! Wish I took pictures but we had mushroom garlic chicken and crispy pork with Chinese broccoli. 🤤 Hit the spot after a full day under the sun!

There were only four table in the tiny restaurant. Food was okay but I hope they don’t wrap the sticky rice with plastic to heat up. I concerned about Endocrine Disruptors(ED) which can cause cancer.
I was down with the flu but in the mood for Thai food so we found this place that delivered via Yelp. So we ordered from them - I got spring rolls, duck noodle soup while my husband got green curry chicken. Ooooohhhh we were not disappointed. Food arrived in time. So I was happy about that. Servings were big (for normal eaters) so we were able to save the leftovers for breakfast the next day. Taste-wise, it's not super authentic Thai (we visit Thailand annually) but it's close enough and GOOD ENOUGH! Krap Kuhn ka!
Great food but not the best however I will say one of the best in the South Bay area. I used to live in Thailand so I'm hard to please. Customer service is good and food is enjoyable but portions are on the smaller side.
Great food and drinks, small but cozy. Food prces are decent and enough parking for customers. Also very convenient due to a lot of other eating choices plus other amenities including a movie theater which is a great place of another entertainment choice.
Seriously good Thai food! The curry wonton are yummy pockets of yumminess with sweet chili dipping sauce for extra yummy flavor! The yellow curry is very tasty, creamy coconut curry flavor and you have to try the pineapple fried rice! Ubon Thai Kitchen is a small place with big flavors!
Great food. Plenty of options. Spice level to taste (usual Mild, Medium or Spicy). Lunch specials M-F for a better price than dinner.
Pretty good food but not great. Nice and casual but I found the prices higher than I expected, especially since it’s good to average. Nice people, seems family run and it’s always busy.
Been going to this place for eight years. It’s my favorite Thai place in Southbay. Food has been consistently good, and I’ve always received good service. The only reason I didn’t give a five is because they don’t have brown rice. They do have black rice but I prefer the brown for fiber. Their lunch specials are also a good value, coming complete with entree, small salad, spring rolls and rice.
Most dishes here are reasonably priced and taste good, although some can be a bit on the oily side. I like them, and keep coming back.
Delicious but DO NOT ORDER SPICY! I have Indian roots and generally have high spice tolerance. But I could not handle their ‘spicy’ yellow curry, with chili flakes sprinkled over it. Panang curry is already a little on hotter side and requesting it spicy made it much more harder to tolerate. Medium or mild is your safe bet. Having said that, they are delicious and rich. Quick and great service. Parking is not an issue as it’s inside a complex and plenty of parking available. The restaurant is pretty small like 4-5 tables so May have a waiting time if you are going at a peak time. No public restrooms but The Home Depot is right by it 😉

The staff were nice and attentive however, the food left a lot to be desired. We ordered the papaya salad, crying tiger, shrimp pad Thai, crunchy lemongrass chicken, and two boba teas. The only thing that was prepared properly were the boba teas. The crying tiger didn't come with the usual dipping sauce, was very thin, and very well done (over cooked). The pad Thai was too sweet for pad Thai, and the "crunchy" lemongrass chicken coating was very very oily.
! Wow! I have never been so disappointed and offended by an establishment in my life. This was my favorite Thai place and I would order online for pick up and I have some dietary request and unfortunately they would mess it up. It happened to handful of times and I would call and complain because it’s dangerous for me. I recently called in and they told me they would no longer take my order because I had too many complaints about them messing up my orders with my dietary request which could’ve caused a major health situation for me. I have severe food allergies and cannot eat certain things, and they would end up putting it in there anyhow. It’s unbelievable that they turned it around and then told me they will no longer serve me or allow me to order from the restaurant because I had too many complaints. I have never seen a bigger lack of empathy and ownership in anyone. The food is good when they get it right, but the customer service is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced in my whole entire life and I work in customer service. This should literally be illegal to treats customers like this!
Horrible unwelcoming hostess on a Saturday night. I was charging my EV next to Aldi's/ChicFilet across busy Crenshaw and thought after a long exhausting day working in Burbank, I'd treat myself to a nice meal on my own. Boy! was I wrong Dragon Lady immediately saw me and said the kitchen was closed!??? It was 8:20 on a Saturday night.. Meh...I've had their food..it's nothing extraordinary... Lots of other better Thai spots like Smile Thai on PCH five minutes away is far better. She probably dismissed me since I was a solo diner and the tip wouldn't amount to much. Change your posted hours !!
Not good. But the people were so nice. The eg rolls were hot on the outside but it was so cold in the inside. The pad Thai did not have any flavor.
Oily, oily, oily Kee Mao Noodles and Oily, oily, oily Thai Fried Rice. Veggie Egg rolls were good with sweet dipping sauce. Thai salad was very good with dressing. Of course the Thai Iced Tea was delicious. When I come to a Thai Restaurant I expect the most flavorful food from Thailand 🇹🇭 but unfortunately there was no infused Thai seasoning in the food due massive amounts of oil, so bland. Nice people but food taste like Panda Express. Jesus Christ Loves You!!!
