Menú diario abundante y de calidad. Hay muchos platos para elegir y algunos fuera de la carta del menú que entran también en él. Después se semejante cantidad de comida vienen esos fabulosos postres que son para echarse a dormir una siesta después.

We had a delicious stuffed cabbage with meat and a hearty mountain stew. The croquettes were also excellent, and the desserts were superb. Excellent value for money. The service from the woman with short gray hair was outstanding. We've been many times and always leave delighted. Thank you so much! Merry Christmas!

A tavern in Torrelavega with exceptional quality and service. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional, always smiling. I had the set menu for €14. They had tons of varied and generous options. Everything I tried was exquisite. The service was beyond excellent, friendly and efficient. Reservations are recommended; it gets busy.

We went here on a recommendation, and it was a sure thing. Few places are like this. The food was spectacular and very reasonably priced. The dishes were hearty and delicious. The stew was incredible. And there were tons of desserts to choose from on the menu—unbelievable! The waitresses were very attentive and quick. When we return to Torrelavega, we'll definitely be back!

Awesome!!! We went to eat, so many good reviews, and everything was just as it was! 3 adjectives: friendliness, quality, and quantity. The perfect combination, along with the price. Without a doubt, we'll come back another day after our four days in Cantabria. Places like this are very hard to find!

We stopped one day on the way to the beach, and it was closed for vacation (which wasn't mentioned on the website, so it would have been appreciated). We returned in a couple of weeks, and the food was truly incredible. The portions are more than generous; you eat the first course and you can't finish the second, so imagine with dessert and everything. Most people bring Tupperware because it's impossible to finish everything. Aside from the menu on paper, they have another 6-8 dishes. The waitresses are all very attentive and have plenty of experience, which is appreciated. It's a place I'd definitely go back to without a second thought. The shame is that, in my case, it's so far away. The price-quality ratio couldn't be better. 👍🏻

We ate here last night and it was sublime. We ordered the menu del dia and for two courses and half a bottle of wine for €17 it’s incredible value. We both had the moussaka and ox cheeks. One of the best meals I’ve had this year!!

Everything was delicious and it felt homemade. We tried the cocido montañes and ensaladilla rusa for the first course and it was so much that it was hard to finish for both first and second courses. Second course - Bacalao con tomate and Carrilleras Ibericas. For dessert we both ordered a baked cheesecake. The amount of dessert options was impressive and they were all homemade! The price was perfect and they have a menu to choose from every day. Warm and friendly people who own the place, thank you for an amazing experience!

Lunch for 4 people. Had menu of the day. Plenty of choice, mountain stew was fantastic. Bottle of wine, water and soft drinks. Three courses with bread and drinks 41 euros. Service was very friendly and one lady spoke good English. Didn't book and they managed to squeeze us in on the veranda. Would definitely recommend and we are all very full.

It took a little while to seat us (because of the previous diners who were eating), and a little while to take our order (they were working). Otherwise, the service was excellent, the food fantastic, and the price very reasonable. We were very glad we followed the advice to eat at the Taberna. RESERVE A TABLE FOR LUNCH
