Enjoyed a meal here with my family. Dad, sister and I all agree that it was the best curry we have ever had! There is something for everyone - my mum is a very fussy eater but she had grilled chicken and fries as she doesn’t like curry. The service was exceptional, everyone is friendly and food/drinks came out quickly. Really recommend

We first came across Cantina Sol in 2022. It's run by a wonderful family, all friendly, and generous with their hospitality. We've eaten lunch and dinner here. They offer their Indian menu every evening, except Tuesday which is their early closing day, and it's delicious! The staff are very competent, a pleasure to talk to them all, and they work tirelessly all day. The main boss is an angel, and very involved in the day to day running. We love this place and cant wait to return.

Underrated restaurant! We experienced fast and friendly service, tasty and unexpensive food. Comfortable chairs to sit there, and quite cool to be under their sun roof. Visited them several times during our week there. We recommend! We would recommend them to invest 100€ in some candles and table decoration, and warm light bulbs. Would benefit a lot.

We’ve been in magaluf all weekend and this is the first time we went here tonight. We were very impressed with the amazing service provided by all staff involved. Customer service is 10/10. Food is 100/10 recommend the Asian/curry menu it’s delicious. We are coming back here tomorrow and will recommend to family and friends at home. Well done guys! We stayed for a week in Palma Nova for our 4 month old baby's first holiday. Cantina Sol caught our eye as it was very spacious, so plenty of room for the pram and lots of shade from the canopies, without compromising the beautiful view of the sea. Staff were so welcoming and accommodating, and drinks were reasonably priced and good quality, so we ended up making it a daily stop off after our walk. Every visit, staff gave such a personal touch. They greeted us like regulars, remembered our orders, and stopped to chat with us when they had time. This place had the perfect feel for our family holiday. We couldn't recommend it enough, and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Amazing food all fresh and hot, their is a great selection, from fish, chicken, burgers, pizza and vegetarian food. My favourite was sea bass and prawns. The staff are very friendly and help you select from the menu, I went their everyday, very welcoming and plight. Valenciana en Palma: Mi experiencia en Cantina Sol ☀️ Después de estar desde las 5 de la madrugada hasta las 9 de la noche, parecía misión imposible cenar en restaurante, de noche, con playa y buen ambiente. Pues no, está Cantina Sol ☀️ , una comida fusión india y mediterránea. Me deje aconsejar por GABY, un chico majisimo con un español/inglés de 10. A buen entendedor…. Pedí de primero BUTTER LAMB (cordero y mantequilla), buenísimo para las personas que aman lo sabroso, tierno y sin picante. Lo acompañé con PAN NAAN 🫓, una locura. Y para rematar el postre de MANGO KULFI (la pulpa triturada del mango con yogur de coco) en trozos con nata montada y sirope al gusto….parece dulce pero no lo es. A destacar la localización, en pleno paseo marítimo y no se va a quedar atrás el precio…25,50€ en total con la bebida 🥤

I'm not sure why this place has such a low rating. Surely this is no fine dining experience, but the quality/price ratio is very favorable. I had chicken curry and it was honestly one of the best I ever had, my partner was also very satisfied with her paella. A very good beach dining option.

We had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The paella was delicious and of great quality, and the service was amazing. Our waiter (number 3) was incredibly kind — he even made the effort to speak a bit of French with us and came to check if we were enjoying our meals. The prices are really reasonable, with main dishes under €20, so we treated ourselves to several and ate very well. On top of that, the sea view made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommended!

La Cantina Sol si trova direttamente sulla spiaggia di Son Matias e pertanto é l'ideale per bere qualcosa o mangiare a pranzo. L'abbiamo frequentata più volte. Sono molto gentili, i prezzi abbordabili, il servizio ogni tanto va in affanno ma poi si riprendono. Il cibo è buono. Buoni gli hamburger ed i sandwich. La paella l'abbiamo provata ed era buona ma certamente ci sono ristoranti dove dopo un'attesa di 30-45 minuti la preparano meglio. Consigliato.

Had dinner here with the wife, and both of us opted for pizzas. We sat outdoors so we could enjoy the lovely view of the beach while we ate. Beer was lovely and cold. Prices were quite reasonable. Service was great. The pizza was ok, the only criticism we both had was there was maybe too much cheese which was quite gooey and almost difficult to eat. Tasted fine otherwise though. They have a large and varied menu and I would definitely visit again, maybe to have something else.

Good food for cheap prices 😋 Ordered some Nachos with cheese and a Double cheese burger. The nachos were tasteful and had plenty of delicious cheese, the salsa tasted alright. The burger was the highlight of the meal with great beef taste, texture and tasty cheese 🤤 The price was fairly low since the nachos, burger and soda ended up costing 15,30 Euro 👌 The location is also great since it’s right by the beach and offers a great view to compliment the meal 👏

Nice place right on the beach of Son Matias. Good selection of pizzas, snacks, hamburgers... But there also traditional tapas and a very tasty paella. Prices are rather good and the service is fast and kind.

Ich hatte ein Baguette mit Käse und ein Baguette mit "Tortilla Española" bestellt. Das Käse-Baguette kam wie erwartet zum Tisch. Das zweite Baguette war allerdings gar keins..gegen meine Erwartung bekam ich den Tortilla Española mit Pommes und ohne Brot?! Aus der Karte (siehe Fotos) geht es für mich auch hervor. Der Kaffee war sehr gut. Alles andere leider nur mittelmäßig.

Really disappointing food. The pizza crust is like a soggy cracker, the omelette was pathetic, the burger meat was grey.

Chose location for lunch due to variety of the menu. Two orders were incorrect, one of which the waiter attempted to imply we ordered - which wasnt correct. Another order burnt. Waiting staff appeared very unhappy. On the plus side cocktails were €6 and very tasty. Shame about the food, could be a 'very good, very nice' place 🤣

Burgers didn’t taste like beef. Frozen burgers tasted awful. Counter chips on the plate got 10 chips with the frozen burger.

Had to wait 40 minutes to order food in a quiet restaurant. Got the meat and fish paella. Had no meat in!?!? Had some mystery item in there the waiter couldn’t identify. The king pawns were obviously not fresh as they stunk. The 2 Mussels were ok. €37 for a big pan of bland rice.

Whole place was disgusting and never ever going back again. For some reason it didn't show up on Google maps initially but found other reviews on tripadvisor (unfortunately after we ordered). I went here with a group of 5. I ordered pasta with shrimps. It tasted like it was heated up in the microwave from the day before. My friends complained that the squid was rubbery. The chicken was dry, real dry. Service was ok and the location was nice, next to the beach. Will not visit again! There are a lot of other good restaurants nearby, so don’t waste your time going here.

Jadłem burgera za 12€, który był bardzo średni, kobieta jadła kulki z kurczaka, które były mrożone, an inna osoba pizzę, która była mrożona. Zamówiliśmy aperol, który był bardzo rozwodniony i sangrie, która kosztowała 13€, a nie było czuć różnicy z tą, którą możesz kupić w supermarkecie za 2€ - w sangrii zero owoców poza 3 plastrami cytryny

for this place to be bad, it would have to improve a lot. The server was grumpy and took our request wrong (well either that, or the kitchen messed up). Also, the food itself is borderline disgusting. The garlic bread with cheese was clearly a stale pieces of bread with a slice of whatever cheap cheese on top and thrown in the microwave. Fries were cold, soft and soggy. The croquetes were obviously those supermarket frozen-food kind of thing, but surprisingly the only thing actually tasty. They will charge as a Michelin star place.

The man who served us I think the owner was so rude, food was shocking. Wanted to go for some Serrano ham, paid 8euro and it was straight from the super market - I could have bought that myself what’s the point? Wish I saw these reviews before I went such a waste of time and money.

Très déçus de notre expérience. Nous avions envie de goûter une paella pour la première fois à Palma, et malheureusement ce restaurant a été une grande déception. La paella était brûlée, collée au fond de la poêle, et absolument pas savoureuse. Quand nous avons fait part de notre remarque, le propriétaire a été très antipathique et fermé à toute discussion. L’ambiance générale était tendue, et nous ne nous sommes pas sentis les bienvenus. Le serveur a été un peu plus correct et a tout de même présenté des excuses à la fin, mais le mal était fait. Nous sommes partis très déçus, et je ne recommanderais pas ce restaurant, surtout si vous cherchez une bonne expérience de cuisine locale. Pour répondre à ton commentaire: Bien sûr que j’ai mangé, j’ai payé pour ça et j’avais faim. Mais si vous prenez des assiettes vides comme preuve de qualité, vous vous trompez lourdement. D’ailleurs, je n’ai même pas pu finir votre mojito, c’est dire… Ce genre de réponse défensive montre quel type de personne vous êtes : au lieu de prendre les remarques comme une opportunité d’amélioration, vous préférez les rejeter en bloc. Un restaurateur soucieux de la qualité écoute ses clients, même les critiques. Dommage

Et inutile de répondre en disant que je l’ai mangée entièrement : oui, j’ai mangé parce que j’avais payé, pas parce que c’était bon. Le manager ou propriétaire parle très mal aux clients, aucune considération ni sens du service. C’est inadmissible. Je ne recommande pas du tout cet endroit.
