Great place ! Hard to spot, a quite small place in a quiet street with nearly no traffic, but it is worth it. They have a menu both in Italian and English, waitresses can also speak English verry well. They're verry compliant with the dishes (I took pasta with pesto while removing potatoes and beans, there where no problem) and overall verry nice. The pastas are verry tasty, the food was fresh and homemade. The desert were not as great as the pastas but were still homemade and verry good. We paid 42 for 2 people, which seems verry decent to me, given the quality of the food. 100% recommend this place.

Lovely gem! Such friendly people and beautiful food. Even though the weather was nice I opted to sit inside because of the quirky antique collection decor. I highly recommend the perch risotto with browned butter if they have it! So good!! The eggplant “meatballs” were delicious as well. Again such friendly folks, felt very welcome as a solo diner :-)

A somewhat hidden spot. The food is fantastic, the wine list rich, and they also have craft beer that comes with tasting options well worth it! I enjoyed the dark beer most, but they are all decent. Definitely recommend!

Great food and the waiter was one of the best we've had yet. We had the aubergine balls and two different pasta dishes, but the ribs with their homemade beer sauce looked amazing. Casual environment, great beer!

The rooms are very clean and rustic as this is an older, building which has its original turn-of- the century style architecture. The location is excellent!!! Very close to ferries to Bellagio, Varenna etc., as well bus, restaurants, and cafes in Tremezzo and Griante. Riccardo, the manager is very friendly and helpful. The open air cafe on site is a nice spot for dinner too.

Firstly the good points, the services was very good and friendly. The food and wine we had was fantastic. We sat in the garden and although there is no lake view or any view unless you like house walls the atmosphere was still great. I cannot recommend this little hidden gem enough ... if you have the €’s, as I would say the only negative is that it was a little pricer than I would have expected for no view and this level of food. If the bill was 10-20% less this would have got 5 stars!

Cute little restaurant up the hill from the Main Street. Staff was attentive. Food was just okay, nothing significant to highlight. My daughter had a burger and I had ribs with potatoes, and they were just okay. I will say the ribs was nicely cooked as the meat fell off the bone.

Beware of the deceptive menu that's posted outside of the restaurant (pictured here); the same items on the menu at the table are much pricier. The riso with the fish, for example, is actually 24 euros, not 18, and we ended up paying 18 for the maccheroni, not 15 as listed on the menu outside. Despite the high prices, the dishes were just very average and didn't taste well seasoned or fresh, and the ambience and service weren't memorable either. Not worth it in our experience.

We cut our stay at Casa Aquadulza short because of 2 major issues. We had booked 4 nights and left for another hotel after the 1st night. - The toilet in room 2 (with white and dark tiles) has no privacy. There is no door and walls only a curtain. This was unimaginable. Specially that the photos on booking.com did not reflect this fact. - The door of the room cannot be locked from outside. There is a second door which can be locked. But the host asked us not to lock it because the staff need to go to a storage area throughout the day. As you might imagine we didn't feel safe leaving our belongings while not there. Thankfully the host offered after a day of discussions to refund the remainder of our stay. We took it and booked another hotel even though it was more expensive because everything was booked out for the same dates in the middle of the peak season.

DON'T BOTHER STAYING HERE... The hotel let me down on two occasions. The first being during our late evening check-in when we were given the keys to a room that already had guests inside. It made us feel uncomfortable and extremely unsafe had the guests assume we were intruders posing a threat to their family and exposure into their private lives. We were exhausted after a long trip from Paris and carrying our luggage up the steep ramp and up the lengthy stairs. We tried several other doors using the same door code with no luck. I attempted several times to contact the hotel via the app with no response. I made numerous efforts to contact Booking.Com with their process redirected me back to the hotel agent messaging service that was not responding. We were exhausted, stressed, and with rain predicted we decided to seek alternative options. My wife went by herself on a dark road to find someone that has mobile coverage to ring the hotel agent while I investigated nearby accommodation with all local venues booked out. Eventually after about 35-40min the hotel contacted me and explained he made an error in rooms with a new code given. He apologized yet took no remorse for what we went through and became defensive when I mentioned compensating me for this major mishap. The second incident occurred the next day late afternoon after a long day in the cold rain coming home to unwind and prepare for dinner. There was no hot water. I messaged the hotel and he mentioned for me to wait 30minutes as he restarted the boiler and again apologized. We both missed out on showers that evening and went to bed looking forward to our checkout the next day. The issue I have with booking.com is they did not add any value in my situation when it matters. They were not there to support or guide me at all. This raises major concerns why I am using booking.com, apart from the booking convenience..
