Ristorantino con pochi tavoli a sedere immerso in un’atmosfera intima, da prenotare con largo anticipo! Il menù consta di piatti della tradizione tristina e mediterranea. Con 4-5 antipasti, primi e secondi tra cui scegliere. Tra gli antipasti, buono il crostino con Liptauer, prezzo sui €4 valido. Tra i primi, impossibile con citare la jota, veramente buona, molto sfumata l’acidita, ben compensata dai fagioli e dalla carne. Prezzo di €10 onesto. Buoni anche i fusi al refosco, molto piacevole l’abbinamento con la ricotta affumicata, e solido il sugo di salsiccia di base. Unica nota: forse un po’ troppo spinto il gusto di refosco, che pur complementandosi bene con la carne a ragù, alle volte tende a soverchiare gli altri sapori. Prezzo di €14 buono in rapporto a qualità e quantità. Bene anche il cestino del pane, immancabile da inzuppare nella jota! Ristorante nel complesso molto consigliato, ritornerei per provare qualche altro piatto, da provare assolutamente!
Osteria Tipica Di Trieste con pochi posti a sedere ma con molta simpatia da parte della staff, Crostino con baccalà mantecato e olive strepitoso. Linguine con Burrata di Gamberi e pomodorini favolosa. Bollito Triestino Buonissimo. Lo consiglio molto. Accoglienza Eccezionale.
Piccola osteria, con pochi coperti, che contribuisce a garantisce un ottimo servizio da parte del personale, sempre sorridente, cordiale e disponibile. Cucina tipica triestina, menù ridotto ma molto curato. Se dovessimo passare di nuovo per Trieste, senza dubbio ritorneremmo a mangiare qui.

Osteria piccolina però ben posizionata nelle vie intorno alla piazza Unità Italia .menù esposto su una grande lavagna appesa al muro con buona scelta .come primi ho preso i fusi (pasta tipo garganelli)al refosco con salsiccia e formaggio (ottimi )poi gulasch con polenta e un invitante mascarpone .il tutto ad un prezzo giusto .il servizio molto presente e gentile bravo.

Trattoria semplice e molto accogliente zona Cavana. Il locale si presenta con una simpatica maxi lavagna come menu a parete. Piatti abbondanti e ben presentati, personale super gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato una squisita pasta con salsiccia e ricotta, gulasch con polenta e branzino. Ampia scelta di bottiglie vino. Consigliata la prenotazione.
Ristorante TOP in centro a Trieste, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, con 65€ abbiamo mangiato: un antipasto (2 bruschette con crema di baccalà mantecato e oliva), due secondi, due dolci, acqua ed un bicchiere di vino. Ci siamo trovati così bene che vi abbiamo cenato due volte nei nostri 3 giorni a Trieste: locale curato nei dettagli con personale gentilissimo e, soprattutto, piatti ottimi nel loro mix di originalità e tradizione (NON si ha l’impressione di essere in uno di quei locali turistici dove puoi ordinare le solite cose banali che accontentano tutti a prescindere). Consigliatissimo, bravi, bravi!

L’osteria Marise è un locale piccolo ma molto accogliente. Il servizio è veloce e gentile. I piatti tipici ti permettono di conoscere al meglio la cucina locale. Abbiamo preso un buonissimo gulasch con le patate in tecia ma consiglio vivamente le bruschette di baccalà mantecato. Finirete per fare il bis! Anche la panna cotta fatta in casa era molto buona. Consiglio di arrivare presto per trovare posto oppure prenotare con largo anticipo.
Crostino di baccalà con olive taggiasche, tagliolini con busara di gamberi, gnocchi di patate e gulash. Tanta, tanta, tantissima roba. Entrati veramente a caso di domenica a pranzo all'apertura, ci hanno accolto subito e fatto sentire a nostro agio. Molto carino il fatto che il menù sia scritto sul muro con scotch di carta, da quel tocco di spartano che ci sta benissimo per un locale modernissimo.

Osteria con cucina in zona Cavana di Trieste, che offre tipica cucina triestina in un ambiente piccolo e curato. Cena di famiglia alla domenica sera, eravamo in 4 con tavolo prenotato la mattina. Accoglienza cordiale e simpatica, come pure il servizio per tutta la serata: ci si sente veramente a proprio agio. Menu che spazia da carne a pesce, prezzi giusti. Molto gustosi i crostini di antipasto, noi abbiamo provato quelli al baccalà e olive, e ai fegatini di pollo. Ottimi anche i primi (fusi al refosco e paccheri con sugo di seppie e radicchio) e la tartare di manzo con patate al forno. Anche i dessert hanno pienamente soddisfatto i nostri palati. Ci torneremo.
Un’osteria genuina dove ci si sente subito a casa ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Osteria Marise è uno di quei posti che non puntano ai riflettori, ma conquistano con la sincerità della cucina e un’accoglienza che mette subito a proprio agio. Il locale è semplice, rustico e curato nei dettagli, con un’atmosfera calda che ricorda le vere osterie di una volta. Il personale è stato gentilissimo fin dall’arrivo: sorrisi, spiegazioni chiare sui piatti e ottimi consigli, senza mai essere invadenti. La cucina è davvero un punto di forza. Gli antipasti della casa sono un ottimo inizio, soprattutto le proposte del giorno: prodotti freschi, sapori equilibrati e porzioni abbondanti. Come primo ho provato le tagliatelle fatte in casa, condite con un sugo semplice ma ricco di gusto, proprio come si faceva una volta. Molto buoni anche i secondi: il carne alla griglia era tenera e saporita, cotta alla perfezione. Anche il brasato merita davvero, con una salsa intensa e profumata. Per contorno, le patate al forno sono da 10 e lode. I dolci sono fatti in casa e si sente: ho preso la cheesecake, fresca e leggera, mentre al tavolo è stato molto apprezzato anche il loro tiramisù. Prezzi assolutamente onesti per la qualità e la cura dei piatti. Osteria Marise è quel tipo di posto che ti fa venir voglia di tornare, perché si mangia bene, si spende il giusto e ci si sente davvero accolti. Consigliatissima!
Ci siamo stati ieri a pranzo in occasione del nostro ultimo giorno a Trieste. Personale super cortese che ci ha trovato un tavolo nonostante non avessimo prenotato. Menzione d'onore alla bruschetta al baccalà mantecato e ci hanno anche suggerito di prendere una porzione e mezza giusta da dividere in tre. Ambiente piccolo ma accogliente.
Sono stato proprio stasera da Osteria Marise, alla ricerca di una cena tranquilla e di ottimo cibo. Le mie aspettative non sono state affatto deluse! Il personale è gentilissimo e simpatico, il servizio cortese e attento, e che dire delle pietanze? Ottime le bruschette con il liptaver, eccelso il bollito triestino con tanto di patate in tecia. I prezzi sono ragionevolissimi e la qualità del cibo è fenomenale. Ci sarebbe anche da spendere un paio di parole per l'ambiente e il locale in sé, raccolto e intimo, ideale per una cena romantica o un boccone tra pochi amici fidati. La mia gita a Trieste non poteva concludersi in modo migliore, Osteria Marise è un esempio di ottima ristorazione e grande professionalità. P.s. È consigliatissimo prenotare, avendo il locale pochi coperti, ed è pur sempre cortesia per chi lavora!

After visiting the Miramare Castle back on Monday March 24th, I came across Osteria Marise and they really did not disappoint. I was ordering my Dinner by speaking Italian most of the time and the experience was incredible. I had the Potato Gnocchi with Beef Goulash, Red Wine, and Crema Di Mascarpone. The server was very friendly and the place was packed that night.
Absolutely fantastic dinner. Everything was very tasty, bruschettas, salad, branzino fish, tuna, desserts. Capellacci stuffed with squash were insanely tasty. Great service, good recommendations. Absolutely nothing to fault. Book ahead as the place is small and gets busy even on a Sunday night.
Small osteria in the center of Trieste,near Piazza Cavana. The food and service are great! Prices are fair. We have tried salad with gamberetti, bruschetta, pasta with refosco, tuna steak,cheescake mango and tiramisu, maybe the house wine could be better but altogether a great experience!
This is a very nice neighborhood restaurant frequented by locals, e.g. at lunch time you will see people with their work badges taking a lunch break with coworkers and friends; at dinner time you will see locals accidentally running into their friends from a different table. They are also friendly to visitors, and they speak fluent English. The menu is written on the board in Italian, but the waiter/host is very happy to translate and explain the menu. The restaurant is quite small so I highly recommend making a reservation, because most likely they won’t take walk-ins. You can make a reservation by filling out an online form on their website and they usually get back to you very quickly. The food is very hearty and good. I would say it tastes very comfortable. The portion size is very generous and I would say this restaurant has the highest quality-to-price ratio in Trieste. Unbeatable value. For two people you can get a three-course meal (some dishes to share because the portions are very generous!) for under 50 euros; if you only get a two course dinner you can do it at about 15 euros per person. Great value!
This place is something else. We stumbled upon the Osteria per accident and in desperate need for dinner and boy did they deliver. Not only is it a nice, cosy, small restaurant with really friendly staff, but most importantly was the food just delicious. Everything was fresh, the menu had a lot of options but was still small. You could choose between vegetarian, fish or meat options. The menu changes frequently, depending on what resources they had, what kind of fish or vegetables they would have. The dolci were delicious as well. And the prices are more than fair for the quality of food you get. We loved it so much that we had to come back on our last night in Trieste again.
Exceptional is all I can say. Efficient and friendly service. Extremely clean and tidy everywhere. No set menu, but a board of the dishes available on the day. Every dish was absolutely delicious. Best hosts. We were able to have a chat at the end of dinner, which further showed their overall love for food and knowledge of restaurants far and wide. The velvetta was just full of flavour, as were the rest of the dishes. A fresh salad of brie and gamberi and fish topped with potato were just simple, delicious dishes. Great selection of wines, too.
Looking for the best cuisine Trieste can offer? Look no further and give Osteria Marise a try! For under 30€ per person we treated ourselves to a 4 course meal with wine and every dish was absolutely incredible! (special mention for the sausage pasta with smoked ricotta) The service was also extremely friendly and efficient. A fantastic experience overall! Well done.
This was one of our favorite restaurants in our entire trip! Super friendly service, amazing food - all the dishes were fresh, flavorful, and unique. Prices are also super fair for the quality. You can tell it’s super popular with locals. We felt very welcomed and at home. Recommend the squid & shrimp main and truffle frittata…desserts are also delectable.
Love, love, love! What a great place to enjoy delicious homemade food and carefully selected local wines. We were so happy after our first dinner here, that we booked a table for the next night as well. I cannot pick a favorite dish because everything was sooo good. However, the most special part of Osteria Marise are the incredible owners, Monica and Gianfranco. They made our trip to Trieste unforgettable.

Osteria semplice, vicina a piazza Unità dove il servizio è cordiale e il cibo vario e dalle porzioni abbondanti. Buoni i tagliolini con busara di gamberi e i fusi al Refosco con salsiccia e ricotta affumicata. Non male la calamarata con sugo di moscardini. Ottime le bruschette. Vi consiglio di prenotare perché il posto non è molto grande. Qualità/prezzo in linea con la media triestina. Vale la pena fermarsi.
Piccola Osteria in centro a Trieste. Scelta non molto vasta ma i vari piatti meritano tutti. Ottime le sarde in saor e la Jota. Eccezionale la guancia di maiale con purè di patate. È preferibile prenotare.
Trattoria molto piccola, con pochi posti a sedere e cene organizzate su due turni, il primo dalle 19, il secondo dalle 21. Ampio menù. Ho preso gnocchi al goulash ed una insalata arricchita da speck e fonduta. Dei due, ho gradito nettamente di più l'insalata, ma non conoscevo il sapore del gulasch, che mi è sembrato una versione insipida dello spezzatino. Da bere un mezzo litro di rosso della casa, non male. Spesa per gnocchi, insalata, vino ed acqua 33€.
In such a touristic area in Trieste is difficult to find a restaurant worth stopping by for decent food. Osteria Marise is a safe haven to taste seasonal dishes in an authentic ambience. I would let the staff recommend you, or choose whatever you feel like having, it will surely be a success!
