How lucky is Troy to have this great new Turkish restaurant! The food was excellent. First, we were given a free appetizer of different dips with amazing flat bread. Then we had delicious kebabs and chicken shwarma with various pickled vegetables and salads on the side. We were treated to Turkish tea at the end. We would have loved to try the incredible looking desserts but we were too stuffed from the generous portions. When we travel through Troy in the future, this will be our go to stop for a superb meal and friendly service.

This place has such a nice setting and the smells are to die for! The food itself has such a flavorful and unique flavor profile across the sweet and savory options. Service was friendly and very inviting, making it such a great option for a proper meal or a late night snack crave. I had the mixed grill platter at 88 Restaurant, and honestly, it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. The chicken tikka was juicy with just the right amount of char, the kababs were full of flavor and had a nice little kick, the meat was super tender. Everything was cooked just right and came with rice, grilled veggies, salsa and tatziki that was so good. The staff were really friendly and made the place feel welcoming without being over the top. It’s the kind of spot where the food speaks for itself, simple, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Definitely one of the best food spots in Upstate New York.

This was our first time here and we were very pleased. The place is clean. The food delicious. They bring you pita bread with a variety of dips upon seating. We got the falafel, choban salad, chicken shawarma deluxe and beef shawarma deluxe, a soda and an iced mocha coffee. Bill came to $58 and we brought home some of our food. Service was attentive and polite. Good experience.

Great overall experience. First time dining in. (We had gotten a pizza to go once prior.) The place was very clean and well-organized. Nice atmosphere. I kept it simple this time and had a chicken gyro. We decided to get some crepes to go. Due to a miscommunication, we ended up with a free milkshake. (They refused to let me pay for it.) Additionally, they were kind enough to give my baby a strawberry while we waited. We will be returning to try different foods and desserts in the near future.

This restaurant is one of the best places in upstate NY! They offer delicious kebabs, lahmacun, waffles, and crepes with amazing flavors. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the service is excellent. Prices are reasonable, and you don't need to worry about hygiene either. Definitely worth trying!

A recently opened, spacious pizza/restaurant in Troy. I’ve been here multiple times for lunch, both with my colleagues and my family. It’s reassuring that the quality standards and cleanliness have remained consistently high every time I visit because finding a place that maintains this level of consistency has become quite difficult lately. I hope they continue this way. See you next time! PS: The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the management is very accommodating. If you have a request outside the menu and it’s within their capabilities, they will definitely try to make it happen—I’ve experienced this firsthand. 😉

Great food! We tried a few of the wraps and they were really delicious, we especially liked the toasted flatbread they were wrapped in. Before our meal we were given a complementary basket of pita and plate of dips that was fun to try. Everything was very fresh and the menu seems to go forever. Today I had the opportunity to visit Pizza 88 restaurant. The lamb shish and kofta were very tender and tasty. The Pistachio Crepes and Belgian chocolate waffle stick were amazing. We had baba ganush, lahmajoun bread, and waffle. All were fabulous. The bread with baba ganush was also very soft and fluffy. Server was soft spoken. The place offers a good variety of food options. They have street side as well as a dedicated parking space. The atmosphere is also more upscale vs other similar restuarants in the area. The prices are reasonable for quality and portion size.

Server was amazing, food was delicious, and menu has something for everyone. Such a cool Turkish diner. We came in around 7pm on a Sunday driving through to Vermont and they had the table already set for us when we walked in. I was pleasantly surprised by the large menu and Turkish kebab options among the crepes, waffles, and late night food. Portions were large, food was hot. Staff were lovely.

We came here late in the evening for a last minute dinner and our expectations were way exceeded! The atmosphere is comfortable and feels very nice, the service was fantastic and very friendly, the food was delicious! We had the shawarma meal and topped it off with some Dubai cheesecake (amazing). Our favorite part was how they rounded off the meal with a complimentary Turkish tea to help the food settle. It felt welcoming, clean and cozy, even at the late hour. We will definitely be returning!

This is easily the best restaurant I've eaten at this year, and it's already the end of summer. We came here because my Turkish friend said another restaurant in Rochester was closed. We drove from Syracuse around 2 hours. The manager, Maher, greeted us right at the entrance. I didn't know that my friend knew him. He pulled out ALL the stops for us. Essentially we entrusted our entire meal to him, and it was the BEST decision. He was kind enough to treat us to many things on the menu. The Iskander Döner was amazing. The lamb, the need the vegetables, every plate was so well made, I have no complaints. I couldn't finish everything. The house classic crepe was a good dessert. Wonderful experience. Great food tasted well and came quick (under 5 minutes). My server Can was quick and helpful and did an excellent job. Food had great texture and taste and was authentic Turkish food. Only complain is food is a little overpriced but i cant find food like it anywhere. Will go here again 10/10 underrated place.

We recently visited this restaurant, and it made a great first impression with its appealing exterior and well-designed interior. There’s plenty of seating space, which adds to the comfort of dining in. We tried the Mixed Grill, which was decent, along with Shawarma and a pizza. The kids especially loved both dishes! One of the highlights was the complimentary bread served with a variety of delicious dips—definitely a nice touch. Overall, we enjoyed our experience, though the service could use some improvement. The waiter seemed a bit untrained, but hopefully, that’s something they work on. Would still recommend giving this place a try!

It doesn't have the same taste as before. The presentation and reception are the same. The waiter is interested in his job, but as I said, it doesn't have the same taste as before, especially for Adana.

We ordered boneless chicken wings, and a mixed grill. Unfortunately, the chicken wings tasted nothing like chicken wings. I could only taste the sauce. It lacked the flavour of crispy chicken wings. Tasted like chicken breast with a flour coating, maybe. The mixed grill was so-so, not worth the price. They lacked flavor too. Just a bit of smoky flavor. What I loved was the pistachio crepe. It was really delicious and finger licking good. If you have a sweet tooth, you will absolutely love it.. The decoration of the restaurant and the ambience were really good. Most of the service was self-service.

Restuarant is very nice, clean, relaxing and the food online aswell as in person look excellent. After being seated we waited 12 minutes before someone came to get our drink order and we ordered our food at the same time. After a few minutes they came back to our table still without our drinks or food. And told us they were out of what we had ordered so we chose another option. After a few more moments our food arrived and the food was alright. The texture was good but the flavours fell flat with little coming through in the dish besides butter.

Got chicken over rice…not a big fan of the chicken weird cut/texture/taste appearance. The rice and sauce were good. Service and atmosphere were good besides the weird customer that kept coming up too close to me at the counter when I was trying to pay…that’s Troy for you. Also wish they out the sauce on the side instead of all over the meal

Try this place for the first time last night got a cut pizza with pepperoni and 12 wings boneless pretty pricey $45. Ask for pizza cooked well done came very greasy soaked right through the pizza. There are garlic parm sauce for the boneless wings with straight liquid made the wings soggy. The sauce was straight butter. Maybe one day I will stop through and dining and see what that's all about. I tried this place because it got good reviews. Definitely wasn't happy with what I got last night

I’v clearly asked for a Grilled Chicken shish platter for dine in and wantedly they gave me the Chicken gyro that too firstly in a to go pack and later they given for dine in. I did walkout from the restaurent followed by requesting for refund. It doesnt matter how ambience the restaurent is, should treat every single customer in respectful manner.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over a year. I ignored some issues before. Tonight, I placed another order. I drove 30 minutes to get to the restaurant, and when I arrived, I was told that they closed early and my order was canceled. I did not receive any cancellation email, nor did anyone call me. If you are going to close early, you can take one minute to pause online orders
