You can always eat well in Tudela, and this place is no exception. For me, it's one of the best; I've tried several, and they've all been spectacular. It was great that there was heating inside, making it warm, comfortable, and quiet for a while. Then it started to get very busy, but luckily we were almost alone until the second course, so the service was quick. The service was also very professional, explaining the dishes to us, and very friendly. We ordered the vegetable menu, which apparently is their specialty. I'm not a big fan of baby gem lettuce, but these weren't bad, with anchovies, but by process of elimination, they were my least favorite. There was also a chard stalk stuffed with foie gras and mushrooms as a starter, which I really enjoyed, especially the sauce; you can tell the vegetables are well prepared. The asparagus croquettes were good too. But what I liked most were the main courses. Although the first course was some good white beans (pochas), a small portion so as not to overwhelm us, and they were tender, and even better with the spicy piparras peppers. I loved all the main courses. From least to most: the breaded piquillo peppers stuffed with vegetables were excellent, served with asparagus cream; they can create a dish that looks like haute cuisine with any vegetable. However, I much preferred the Eggs Alberto, cooked at a low temperature and beautifully presented wrapped in thin potato, with the peppers adding a lovely touch. For me, they were almost as good as the oxtail, so tender you didn't even need a knife to cut it. The red wine sauce was superb, and the meat was tender. And the dessert surprised me; I'd say the flan is the best I've ever tasted. The caramel was excellent, and the flan was smooth and delicious, completely homemade. It was a gradual improvement; for me, it's not number one, but it's certainly among the best, and that's typical for restaurants of this caliber. Honestly, the set menu, at €40 plus €10 for the oxtail, is well worth it. It's very complete with six courses and isn't limited to just vegetables. I would definitely return.
There were six of us. We ordered the vegetable menu, which was exceptional; the asparagus croquette was fantastic, and the chard stalks with foie gras were delicious. We tried some superb white beans. The stuffed peppers were excellent, and the vegetable stew was a classic. The desserts were top-notch: the Russian cake, the fig ice cream, and the rice pudding. The owner was an outstanding host. He gave us helpful advice and treated us with great care. We highly recommend this culinary experience.
The food was really, really good. I have to say we ran out of pasta. We were a large group, and that always makes things a bit chaotic. I'm sure that with a little attention to detail, you can eat very well and at a fair price. One thing, gentlemen of Pamplona, please look into the stairs and accessibility; it could be improved.
Great place, reasonable prices, plenty of space, and excellent service. We went to try the vegetable tasting menu, and it was truly exquisite. When I saw the menu, I was expecting something different than what they served, perhaps more elaborate, but the flavor made up for it all: fresh, quality produce. I highly recommend the Iruña veal; it's a very fine, super-tender beef with cheese and ham inside, and it's a considerable size. The service was fast and attentive, even though the place was full. The restaurant is spacious enough for many diners, and they had no problem reserving a table for us the day before.
Great food and friendly atmosphere
Booking was very easy via WhatsApp, all on the same day, a Saturday. The restaurant was very clean and elegant. The service was very friendly, cordial, and polite, and they offered recommendations with every dish to enhance our enjoyment. The quality of the food was excellent. The price is high, but the ingredients, the cooking, the service, and the presentation all warrant it. However, it's not excessive. We opted for the Valentine's Day menu, which came to €84 total with coffee. This menu was originally €40 per person, excluding soft drinks and coffee. It's definitely a place we'll return to. Thank you.
An excellent restaurant for both vegetables, which they specialize in, and meats. During our visit during the Vegetable Festival, they got off to a bad start, taking a long time to serve us, which was understandable since they had every table full. However, the waitress more than made up for it with excellent service and a great deal of kindness and professionalism. The vegetable dishes were exquisite, and the meat was cooked to perfection for everyone. The desserts were all homemade. A delightful meal from start to finish.
Local muy limpio y cuidado. Servicio excelente.
A good restaurant for eating vegetables. We had fried artichokes, breaded artichokes, and a vegetable stew. Everything was very good. Beef carpaccio and dessert were average. The waiter's service was adequate, but he needed some attention, like clearing crumbs off the table before dessert.
The best vegetables and excellent service. The daily menu has improved exponentially... The kitchen work is excellent, and the chistorra (a typical Spanish sausage) appetizer never fails. The dessert is spectacular. They were at the top of the ladder, but they've taken another step up... Highly recommended restaurant.
On our way to Cantabria, we stopped halfway and had lunch at this well-known restaurant in Tudela. I'd been there a few years ago with friends, and today I went with my partner. We ordered the €35 set menu. Everything was perfect, including the service. The pochas (white beans) were outstanding, and the cabracho (scorpionfish) pie was very good. Highly recommended if you're in Tudela.
We ate here around 9pm on a Thursday but the restaurant was empty which was a surprise. Our shockingly poor Spanish gave the waiter a few laughs and in the end he just brought us food. Dish after dish of lovely food with plenty of bread and a bottle of wine and water. A simple tomato salad dressed with garlic, oil and vinegar. Ham, olives and something suspiciously like a mushy-pea fritter. A bean soup that melted in the mouth and had a side of fiercely hot chilli pickle. Wafer thin veal sandwiching ham and cheese then fried, served with chips. We couldn’t manage a dessert so can’t comment. It wasn’t the cheapest meal I’ve had nor was it the best but it was delicious and we enjoyed our evening.
Daily menu 22€ Special menu 35€ Veggie menu 40€ Does it make sense? not at all. Its first time in my life where they charge more for veggies than the rest. This little issue aside, staff is great and the service excellent. We tried several dishes and a bit disappointed with the quality. T-bone steak wasnt old cow at all, flavour looked more like veal and it was overcook. Mushroom scramble might had something coz I got stomachache righr after eating. Croquetas, roncal cheese and the rest of dishes were yummy. From my point of view pricey and value for price 2/5.

Comida de empresa. 50 euros. Menú súper escueto, platos pequeños para compartir. Comida muy normalita. Hace años recordaba mejor este restaurante, para mí a perdido mucho.
