Explosion de saveurs à Tulum ! Osteria Veneziana a été l’un de nos plus beaux coups de cœur culinaires à Tulum. Dès l’arrivée, on se sent envelopés par une ambiance chaleureuse et sincère… mais c’est dans l’assiette que la magie opère vraiment. Les pâtes aux fruits de mer avec langoustines que ma femme a choisies étaient juste exceptionnelles : des langoustines ultra fraîches, une cuisson parfaite des pâtes, une sauce riche, profonde, presque addictive. Chaque bouchée était un concentré d’Italie, avec cette touche généreuse qui fait toute la différence. Un restaurant qui cuisine avec le cœur, et ça se goûte. Nous sommes venus un peu par hasard sans connaître le concept : tante Paola cuisine ce qu elle veut avec une cuisine comme ta nonna. Bref regarde le film les nonnas pour comprendre. En clair, elle cuisine de l amour et du bien vivre, on y mange comme le dimanche chez sa tata italienne. Elles sont divines ses recettes de famille. Bon ok une tata en mode caliente : une cuisine italienne avec des épices mexicains : caliente légèrement mais tellement bon. Le tout avec une deco très sympa, bois, béton et metal du plus bel effet.

Dernier dîner après 11 jours au Mexique nous arrivons dans ce restaurant un peu par hasard car il se situe proche de notre hôtel. Et autant dire que nous allons y vivre une grande surprise. La propriétaire est très sympathique et sa nourriture délicieuse. Effectivement ça coûte un petit peu plus cher que d’autres restaurant à tulum mais il faut la minuscule difference vaut le fait de manger aussi bien qu’en Italie mais au Mexique. Ce restaurant vaut largement le détour et nous le recommandons à tous. Merci pour votre accueil.

La proprietaria (Paola) ci ha stupiti per due sere di fila con i suoi piatti “a sorpresa” con pesce freschissimo e cucinato un maniera eccelsa. Servizio attento e disponibile. Amazing, authentic Italian food in the heart of Tulum! We were recommended this place and decided to make a reservation for a friend's birthday. We were not disappointed! It's a little pricey but worth it for the quality of food and service. It's a set menu. You get multiple courses of whatever the chef has prepared for that night. We met the owner and she was the most lovely and welcoming person you could imagine. Great dinner spot in Tulum. We'll definitely be returning in the future.

We had the most beautiful Nonna cook an Italian dinner. There was no menu. We just trusted that she would cook the most delicious food and she sure delivered. Absolut köstliches, italienisches Restaurant. Wir waren zu zweit und es war ein richtiges Erlebnis. Es gibt keine Speisekarte, sprich man wird einfach mit einem wahnsinns Menü überrascht. Paula hat uns mit 4 Gängen verzaubert und es war ein Gaumenschmaus. Sehr nettes & freundliches Team, faire Preise und entspanntes / ruhiges Ambiete mit gemütlicher Musik. Wer in Tulum ist, sollte hier auf jeden Fall einmal vorbeischauen.

Wir sind ganz spontan hier gelandet – eigentlich nur, weil wir plötzlich riesige Lust auf Italienisch hatten. Und was sollen wir sagen: Zum Glück! ❤️ Schon beim Reinkommen wurden wir von der unglaublich herzlichen Wirtin empfangen. Mit einem Lächeln erklärte sie uns ganz charmant: „Keine Karte – es gibt ein Drei-Gang-Menü.“ Wir dachten uns: Perfekt, das klingt nach einem entspannten Abend. Was dann folgte, waren allerdings nicht drei, sondern fantastische vier Gänge – begleitet von tollem, perfekt abgestimmtem Wein. Und jeder einzelne Gang war ein kleines Highlight für sich. Die Vorspeisen? Unfassbar lecker! Kreativ, überraschend und definitiv nicht der übliche Standard, den man sonst oft bekommt. Man hat sofort gemerkt: Hier wird mit Leidenschaft und Anspruch gekocht. Und dann die Pasta mit Seafood… Ich lehne mich jetzt weit aus dem Fenster – aber das waren die besten Seafood-Pasta, die ich in meinem Leben gegessen habe. Punkt. Frisch, perfekt gegart, unglaublich aromatisch – ein absoluter Traum. Besonders schön war auch, dass die liebe Köchin selbst noch zu uns kam und ein bisschen von ihrer Kochleidenschaft erzählte. Man spürt sofort, wie viel Herzblut hier drinsteckt. Sie war unglaublich sympathisch und authentisch – das macht so einen Abend noch einmal besonders. Der Service war durchweg überragend: aufmerksam, herzlich, locker und dabei absolut professionell. Man fühlt sich nicht nur als Gast, sondern wirklich willkommen. Abgerundet wurde alles von einem wundervollen Dessert, das den Abend perfekt abgeschlossen hat. Eigentlich wollten wir nur „mal schnell italienisch essen gehen“ – am Ende wurde es ein Abend, den wir so schnell nicht vergessen. Das Ambiente war sehr schön und gerade für Tulum sehr gepflegt. Der Preis war mehr als fair für diesen Abend. Wenn es möglich wäre, würden wir mehr als fünf Sterne geben. Absolute Empfehlung – wir kommen ganz sicher wieder! ✨

Premetto subito che normalmente non andiamo nei ristoranti italiani all’estero ma questa volta ci avevano incuriosito le foto postate on line: beh.. andare in questa osteria è stata decisamente la miglior scelta che potessimo prendere, tanto che ci siamo andati ben due volte; ci ha accolti Paola e ci ha fatto subito sentire a casa; lo chef propone piatti del giorno senza un menù in base alle disponibilità di prodotti freschi locali. La prima sera il piatto forte è stata una spaghettata di pesce mentre la seconda un filetto di pesce all’acqua pazza: cibo super ed onestamente è un ristorante che frequenterei molto volentieri anche in Italia!!! Andateci e fatevi guidare 😉

In short: delicious food and wonderful staff. We were greeted by the lovely owner, who explained today’s menu to us. The two of us got a spinach salad with pears, nuts, and honey as a starter, followed by burrata with tomato and pesto. The main course was seafood pasta, accompanied by a nice glass of white wine. All the food had very good ingredients with attention to detail. Everything was homemade, and the taste was phenomenal. It was a wonderful evening, and I can highly recommend this place!

It seemed like a quiet night when we went, and the chef came out to walk us through the nightly menu, which was a really nice, personal touch. The squid ink pasta was delicious, and honestly everything we had was great. The whole place felt a bit like a hidden gem — relaxed, welcoming, and very homey. Nothing over the top, just thoughtful food and an atmosphere that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the night. Somehow it felt like a really special spot without trying too hard. Would definitely go back.

Desde que llegué a Tulum a visitar a una amiga Italiana que vive allí, no paraba de hablarme de este lugar y su magnífica comida. Con toda franqueza tengo que decir que es el mejor restaurante de Tulum si lo que buscas es deleitarte con los sabores y texturas de otro tiempo. La comida es casera pero sin dejar de ser exquisita, es una mezcla entre esos platos entrañables de la abuela y a la vez el inigualable toque de su dueña Paola, que al ser Italiana no deja de poner su toque personal que te traslada a sentirte como en casa y mucho más. Buena calidad y sabores que como se diría en Italiano te hacen Impazzire🤩. Y no probe su pasta que seguro que tampoco te deja indiferente. Si buscas un lugar en México pero que te permita hacer un viaje aún más profundo a través del paladar y la energía hogareña, este es tu sitio. Y el precio es muy razonable y correcto 👍 sobre 25€ o 30€

Anoche tuvimos la suerte de cenar en la casa de Paola, porque la dueña y cocinera nos hizo sentir como en su casa. El lugar es sencillo y elegante, muy acogedor y decorado con buen gusto sin pretensiones. Paola nos ofreció una experiencia sin menú para que degustáramos cosas auténticas italianas y no cayéramos en comer siempre lo mismo. Nos fue sacando platillos deliciosos, una ensalada de muy delicada y fresca, una burrita tierna y cremosa,unas guarniciones de verduras asadas, y para terminar, una pasta sublime, con mariscos, una salsa jugosa y sabrosa, con el toque perfecto de picante, la pasta en su punto perfecto de cocción, y todo esto acompañado por un vino tinto buenísimo. Además de la experiencia culinaria, disfrutamos de la agradable e interesante conversación de Paola. Una pena que nos vayamos de Tulum porque nos dan ganas de ir a visitarla y cenar con ella cada día. Gracias Paola.

Lo primero que te sorprendera' es que no hay menú pero Paola, la anfitriona, te consentira' con las varias entradas del día y propuestas de platos fuertes. Todo muy rico, casero y hecho como cocinaban las abuelas en Italia. Además el ambiente es confortable y elegante, la música perfecta para cenar y la cuenta te hara' regresar una y otra vez.

Last Tues we had one of the most memorable meals at Veneziana. As this restaurant doesn't have a menu (always a good sign) and as it was a quiet night, the owner and chef suggested she'd prepare a "surprise" meal for the two of us. So exciting not knowing what's coming next! She first served us a fresh spinach & pear salad with a tangy vinaigrette. Our second appetiser was a mozzarella & tomato dish served with side dishes of roasted aubergine & courgettes slices and a warm ratatouille all presented in individual dishes. Our seafood pasta for our main was to die for (see pic) - lobster, clams, and mussels served on a bed of bicolour tagliatelle in a very flavourful tomato sauce. We didn't think we had room for dessert. But no fear! Along with our espressos came four mini slices of chocolate cake, almost like a brownie but of a lighter texture, dusted with vanilla sugar. Over the past decades , we have visited many regions in Italy and always enjoy the local cuisine especially in Emilia Romagna and the Veneto which, unsurprisingl, is where this chef comes from. Our dining experience was beyond words. I LOVE surprises, so the fact that you get whatever she is serving that day delighted us! Every dish was immaculately prepared, and each decadent bite made me close my eyes and really take it in. Knowing her dessert “chocolate salami” is a tradition passed down from her own grandmother really tugged on my heart strings. The restaurant itself is just gorgeous. I love the elements of nature fused inside. Immaculately clean. And the service was more than top notch. The way you get to interact with her while she brings out the food was such a cool experience. Tulum is one of the friendliest places I’ve ever been to, and we were made to feel very welcomed here. The tables are decorated with native flora, and even the hand towels in the bathroom smell of heavenly essential oils. No detail is spared here, and you will leave with a full belly and full heart. The most delicious and authentic Italian restaurant in Tulum 🙌🏻 If you’re tired of the usual pasts&pizza kind of food you find abroad, this is the place to go. We had the best traditional and not so typical Italian meal. Paola the owner prepares anything from seafood dishes to juicy roasts, yummy salads or pastas you won’t find elsewhere in town. There’s a cozy, homelike atmosphere and it’s ideal for couples, families or even small groups of friends. We highly recommend it as we go there at least once a week!

OMG if you are in Tulum you have got to try Osteria Veneziana!!!! We had dinner there our send night in Tulum and then went back the next night! It has a family style approach and the owner/cook was amazing!!! We told her what we were allergic to and our dislikes and she catered to us. The food was so fresh and so full of flavor. It was like my grandmother was cooking for us. A must if you're in downtown and the price was so worth every penny. It felt like we had an 8 course meal (I forgot to take pictures of some of the dishes) for $600 pesos total for 4 of us and we had drinks. We were all miserably full because we just couldn't stop eating. As others have said the owner makes you feel like you’re having dinner with your grandmother and she just makes you feel so welcomed.

Absolutely delicious home-cooked Italian food, home-cooked by the owner, who is like your Nona! Really intimate, and a very special experience, would thoroughly recommend! Beware…!! The starters are so awesome, you will fill yourselves, and then top that up with the fantastic (pea) soup…and then face the spectacular seafood player in tomato-bisque sauce, which was out of this world! A quand un avis OBJECTIF ? Certes les plats sont succulents mais la méthode l'est moins. Dès le début nous avions annoncé ne pas avoir trop faim pour 5 plats et la patronne nous a dit qu'elle s'arrêterait de nous servir des que nous la préviendrons. Après le 3e plat ,(spaghettis avec pour chacun 3 claims, 1 belle crevette, un morceau de crabe avec sa carapace et des morceaux de poulpe) nous lui faisons signe de s'arrêter là. Nous pensions honnêtement en avoir pour 450 sur les 600 du menu complet. En demandant l'addition nous furent facturés 600/personne !!!!! En demandant des explications on m'expliqua vaguement que les spaghettis étaient en plus des fruits de mer (à lire les autres commentaires ils étaient toujours inclus). Bref, passez votre chemin tant que vous n'aurez pas un menu précisant clairement ce que vous allez payer. Quand je lis une moyenne de 600 à 700/personne je m'imagine que ces personnes buvaient de l'eau car le vin à 350 le demi litre ou 700 le litre fait vite grimper l'addition.

No tiene menú, la chef te sirve lo que quiere o lo que le sobró (plato de frijoles), te explica los platillos y te sirve otra cosa, no tienes idea de lo que te va a costar porque en la plática de los platillos no menciona el precio. Se tardó más de dos horas en servirnos y la comida está muy mala y mal preparada (exceso de aceite). Jamás volvería y no se los recomiendo
