La comida estuvo super deliciosa éramos un grupo grande y pudimos probar varias cosas llegando a la conclusión de que lo más destacable y super recomendable es : ensalada caprese, carpaccio de salmón, sopa de tomate, rissotto de mar pizza de 4 quesos, tiramisu y canelonis, atención maravillosa de Adrián y la chica de recepción y Lupita nuestra mesera estrella

Service rapide et courtois, restauration de qualité surtout les entrées, la soupe et le plat de résistance. Concernant les desserts, le tiramisu était correct mais sans plus. Il faisait très froid dans le restaurant donc nous ne nous sommes pas attardés.

Quelle belle soirée! Nourriture excellente, service irréprochable, un incontournable si vous allez au Bahia Principe Grand Coba. Nous avions Eddy comme serveur et il était super! Le gérant Adrian était également très chaleureux. Je recommande à tous!

Nous y avons eu un très beau souper. Service impeccable. La salade Tuscany et l’entrée de carpaccio de saumon des délices. Nos plats de pâtes (gnocchis et à l’agneau) étaient très goûteux, mais un peu trop al dente pour nous. On a bien aimé nos desserts les 3: crème glacée Ferrero, tiramisu et cannolis.

Muy lindo restaurante, la atención fue sobresaliente, los platos son bien regionales de Italia. Le faltaría en algún que otro plato que sea más abundante la comida si son de buen comer. La burra excelente y la lasagna también.

Muy bien atendidos por Edgard y Tamara. Exquisitos platos. Presentación y vino italiano inmejorables.

No lo visité está ves que me hospede, pero ya se un buen restaurante y muy rico todo lo que preparan.

Excelente experiencia en Portofino El buen servicio no es una sorpresa ya que en todos los restaurantes hay, gran atención y amabilidad del personal Lo que si me asombró es la calidad de la comida El menú se cambió hace poco y quedó perfecto Excelentes opciones de verdadera comida italiana, probé el carpaccio de res, muy bien servido y sazonado Pedí también gnocchi, muy bonita la presentación y sobretodo el sabor No te pierdas los Cannoli de ricotta Deliciosos Quiero también recalcar que yo soy italiano, y tener una opción mas en bahia principe de buena comida italiana es realmente un plus Gracias al chef, y a todo el equipo de Portofino Felicidades

Espectacular. El mejor Restaurante en el que hemos cenado. Ambiente agradable, servicio amable y muy profesional y la comida excelente. Recomiendo encarecidamente probar el Rissoto fruto de Mare y el Filete de res a la Napolitana. El tiramesu y la panacotta de postres. La decoración es muy adecuada y de estilo mediterráneo considerando que es de temática italiana. 100% recomendable

Durante la estancia en el hotel fue muy difícil hacer las reservas en los restaurantes pero pudimos conseguir cenar aquí uno de los días. Nos encantó la carta, todos los platos que probamos nos encantaron. La atención de los meseros buenísima, como prácticamente en todo el complejo del Bahía Príncipe. Quiero destacar sobre todo la atención de Andrés, el metre. Increíble persona, nos reímos mucho con él, fue muy amable, simpático y nos hizo pasar una rato estupendo. Ojalá podamos volver!

Cenamos excelentemente bien en el restaurante Portofino de Bahia Principe Coba. La atención de Cristian y Alex fue increíble y la comida excelente! Definitivamente volveremos la próxima vez que nos hospedemos en el hotel!

At the neighboring resort and decided to come here for supper. The food was absolutely delicious. Although they look like smaller portions, they are very filling and very tasty. The atmosphere was very nice, the temperature was cool and comfortable, and the service was splendid. Will recommend to others!

The portofino is currently in the same building as the Cozumel. There are no signs so it is hard to find. To get in you need to go to the Privilege Lobby and the entrance is straight ahead. It was worth it though. Beautiful meal. Wish we could go again every night but it is so hard to get into. Which is a sign of a good resteraunt. It you csn get booked in, please do try it.

Check with front desk before heading out here. This location was closed when we came in and the restaurant was relocated to the secondary lobby. Food is great snd we were thoroughly impressed how the Italian dishes were closer to the authentic ones, which you can’t even get nowadays even in nice NY restaurants. Servers as always are very hard working and efficient. The minestrone soup, the pizza con i figi and the cannoli stood out for us. Great experience

Loved the food even though I was not feeling on top form shame they did not mention that it was our anniversary even though we had been asked if it was a special occasion may be a glass bubbly would of been nice.the hotel its self have been great they've put a happy anniversary sash over the door and sent a bottle of bubbly and glasses to our room. Thanks for that

Bien la comida, entrada, plato fuerte y postre. No fue el mejor lugar pero estuvo bien. Cenamos carpaccio de salmón y de res, sopa minestrone como entradas, agnolotti de cordero, lasagna, cacerola de mar y filete de res como plato fuerte y de postre cannoli, panna cota y helado de Ferrero. 4 comensales.

Muy rica y fresca la comida. La atencion es espectacular. Se pide la entrada, el plato fuerte y el postre. El mozo siempre estuvo muy atento. Fue de los mejores restaurantes

La comida estaba buena, la carta bien pero para mi gusto añadiría algo más a la carta. El servicio muy bueno y muy limpio. La única pega que le pondría es que dentro hacia un poco de calor. Cené de entrante Ensalada Caprese, que en comparación con la Toscana y la Nipola, era bastante pequeña en cantidad, de plato principal gnocchi, estaban muy buenos y de postre tiramisú, estaba espectacular.

Buena comida y buen servicio, servicio de cocina y salón muy lento, casi 2 horas para cenar, tras un día de calor del caribe+excursiones y que íbamos con un bebé se hace pesado.

The food was quite far from authentic Italian cuisine, but considering that we are in Mexico and not in Europe, it was really quite good! But the biggest advantage of this place is the service. Very professional.

Fuimos una noche de nuestro viaje pensando que sería una cena más relajada que la del buffet ya que es a la carta. Y vaya si fue relajada tardaron en servirnos como 1 hora y del entrante al plato principal casi otra hora. Íbamos con niños y se durmieron en las sillas esperando. La comida estaba buena. El servicio fue atento aunque lento y nos sirvieron una botella de vino que no se incluía en el precio y nos avisaron una vez abierta, naturalmente se la llevaron sin muchos reparos.

Párese comida rápida los ingredientes son muy básicos aunque hay platillos bastante pasaderos

Too much oregano. My margarita Pizza with a lot of dried oregano Kid’s tomato Pasta with a lot of dried oregano Unfortunately except oregano, I couldn’t taste others.

Was at the table for half an hour before they even took our drink order. Eventually got our starter which was comfortably the worst bruschetta I have ever had. One mouthful and that was enough. Main course came which was supposed to be pork fillet, again one mouthful was more than enough. Got up and left at this point as glasses had been left empty for around 20 minutes and the food up to this point was inedible

We had a reservation for two people. We tried for 2 days reservations for the same table but for 4 people. They said to show up on the day because the vacancy system was full. We arrived at the restaurant on the appointed day and time, with the restaurant empty and we were barred from entering with the classic arrogance

Una pena que un local tan bonito y con un personal tan maravilloso no prepare mejor la comida. Fuimos 3 y solo nos comimos los postres.

Calor. Llegamos a horario. Reserva desde antes de llegar al hotel. Esperamos 20 m llegando a horario . Luego una hora hasta el plato de entrada.

No hay buena organización con respecto tr o a los horarios de la cita

If you’re considering making a reservation here, don’t do it. Waiting one full hour just to get a soup is absolutely ridiculous. People who arrived 15–20 minutes after us got served before we even saw our food. It genuinely felt like we were being ignored on purpose — pure discrimination just because we don’t look American. The waiter came to our table three different times with dishes we never ordered. We didn’t even bother with dessert, and still ended up wasting 1 hour and 40 minutes in this place. Worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. Never coming back. Food was ok.

If you want to be eaten alive by mosquitoes, insulted by waiters and poisoned by unopened mussels then this is the place. The salt cellar was broken so I gave it to a waiter who just put it on a different table as a swap. The top would come off to anyone using it. At the end of the meal, most of which I did not eat the waiter smiled and sarcastically said enjoy your meal as I left. Oh BTW waiters I speak Spanish. I left and went to the buffet instead. Avoid this restaurant.

I added this place to the map because it wasn't fair that it could be so bad and nobody could know about it. We were there early and were seated pretty quickly, which was good. We were shown to our table and had to wait 25 minutes whilst sitting with our menus closed before we even got our drinks order taken. We all got our glass of red wine but they forgot a beer. We received our appetizers for four after waiting for 40 minutes since arrival, they were ok. Our mains however, the lasagne tasted like it had been frozen or used the poorest meat available and had to be warmed up. The fillet of beef also had to be re-heated. They then came and topped up our red wine with a freezing cold bottle.. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews, but it was so hard to find anything about this place I thought I better share our experience. Definitely had potential to be better, maybe we made the wrong menu choices, but never the less the service was average and the food and drinks were poor.
