The food was really solid. We ordered the Kyza as well as some rolls, and we both got a bowl of tonkatsu ramen. It’s really hard to find a good bowl of Ramen in Mexico, but this one didn’t disappoint, easily give this a solid, 8/10. 10 being Japan

We went for lunch here yesterday and had a lovely experience. I was very impressed with the level of sushi they were putting out from such a cute little shop. I make make it and teach it myself and I was very impressed. The ramen was pretty good too, I have to say. All of the authentic flavors were there and it was a good portion size. You can expect to spend 300-400 pesos per person if you're planning on getting sushi as well as ramen.

If you’re looking for authentic ramen and delicious bao in a cozy atmosphere, Yamato is definitely worth a visit! We tried the Shoju and Tan Tan Men ramen, along with a pork bao. The bao was simple but incredibly tasty , fluffy, and packed with flavorful pork. Both ramens stood out with their rich, well-balanced broths that were full of depth. The noodles were of excellent quality, complementing the broth perfectly. The Shoju had a comforting, soya based broth, while the Tan Tan Men delivered a delightful kick without being overwhelmingly spicy — just the right amount of heat to enjoy all the flavors. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and attentive. Good pricing. Small, comfy and Clean place!

Thank god for their Udon!! I needed something not too heavy with lots of veggies for my stomach and this was perfect! The shrimp tempura in the udon was also very delicious.~

Visiting Tulum from Vancouver, Canada and was really craving sushi and noodles and googled a nearby place! This hit the spot. The cones (esp the spicy tuna) were the best value and had a lot of fish in them. In fact, we came back twice in one week. I also tried the shoyu ramen with chicken which I really enjoyed :) service was quite slow even though it was just 2 of us dining in the place at 6pm but still 5 stars worthy. Chairs were uncomfortable but that’s ok.

Normally, I’m not drawn to this type of cuisine, and this was my first time trying one of these restaurants. My hesitation stems from the fact that most noodle places use eggs and other ingredients that don’t appeal to my palate. However, this restaurant stood out for its unique approach to noodle preparation, using high-quality ingredients and crafting each dish to perfection. I substituted shrimp for the beef in my dish, and the shrimp was grilled to absolute perfection. Surprisingly, the restaurant offers one of the best price points in town. The combination of reasonable prices and generous portion sizes makes it an excellent value. I’ll definitely be coming back to try their sushi. I’m not usually a sushi person either, but I’m looking forward to experiencing theirs. The only recommendation I would make is for them to offer a sweet and sour dipping sauce—the orange one commonly found in Asian restaurants, typically served with spring rolls.

I moved to Tulum 6 months ago and this place wasn't too far from where I live. I never gave it a chance, but since I've been having cravings for asian food I gave it a shot last week and THANK GOODNESS I did. Absolutely incredible food and service. The chef makes me a custom sushi roll every time I come in and the tan tan peanut broth ramen is to DIE FOR. Not to mention the pricing is VERY affordable compared to most Tulum restaurants. The equivalent dishes in La veleta cost at least 300 pesos more. Can't recommend this place enough! Soooooo gooood.

On Local Tuesdays we found yet another hidden Jem. Yamato Ramen & Sushi. It is located @ the intersection of Kulkulkan and 7th in La Veleta.. Oh My Goodness this is some of the best Asian Food we have had in Tulum. The spicy edimami delicious. The grilled dumplings were killer. The best I've had in Tulum. My EBI Sushi 🍣 Roll was so fresh and flavorful. Galen's Chicken Tan Tan Men was absolutely fabulous. Great Service, Comfortable Environment, Outstanding Food and Very Reasonably Priced. We will Be Back.

An absolute gem of a find. One of the best ramens I have had since visiting Japan. Good value and great tasting food. I had the spicy peanut broth which was absolutely delicious and my friend had the shoyu broth which was apparently very good too. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who fancies a ramen- also the sushi looked very good too!

Unsuspecting ramen spot that will blow you away. Unbelievably good food and friendly service. The sushi, rice, noodles, and poke are all fantastic. The limeade is also particularly good. You will not go wrong stopping here!

Venía dudosa de no saber que esperar porque ya he probado varios restaurantes de ramen en Tulum y todos me decepcionaron terrible. Sinembargo este lugar logró sorprenderme con el Tonkotsu, está un poquito salado pero a mi me encantó. Lo que si noté al final fue que la espinaca que traía no la lavaron bien porque me supo un poco a tierra (solo al final de la sopa :( aun así el sabor de los fideos y caldo estuvo rico) mi novio pidió sushi y estaba muy bueno al igual que las gyozas fritas y el udon igual super rico. El calpis no sabe a calpis, sabe a yogurt jajaja pero aun asi estuvo rico y si lo que me super falló fue el relleno del mochi... La consistencia espectacular pero el de fresa sabia a chicle y lo arruinan poniéndole chocolate y crema batida. Me gustaría probar mochi relleno de helado (vainilla nunca tiene pierde u oreo igual seria una excelente opción) La mesera super amable pero estaba chistosa porque hablaba muy bajito jajsjaja aun asi muy linda y atenta. Definitivamente regresaré :)

Se me ocurrió pedir el ramen vegano, que asco sabia a quemado y nada parecido al ramen pague como 250 pesos por una sopa que solo comí el 30% y nada satisfactorio el sabor mi novio pidió un poke bowl super chiquito el bowl. No lo recomiendo pagamos aprox. $650 mxn por una cena horrible hubiera preferido comer una marchan. Casi nunca escribo reseñas pero este lugar lo amerita, otra trampa para turistas en Tulum. Dejamos como 120 mxn de propina y el mesero se sorprendió por que sabia que no nos gustó la comida. Nunca volveremos.
