Fantastisch! Liebenvolles Ambiente und Top Service. Hatten ein Dip mit Koriander, den wir wie viele Europäer nicht vertragen und er wurde sofort ausgewechselt, zu einer leckeren Guacolmolo 😀 Wenn Ihr dort vorbei kommt macht ein Stop und Genießt!

We visited this roadside café twice and truly enjoyed the food — it was delicious and absolutely deserves five stars. However, during our second visit, we waited about 15 minutes for the check, and it felt like we were being a bit overlooked. Even so, we still had a good experience overall and would recommend this place for its excellent food and cozy atmosphere.

Oh my! Can’t express how much we loved the food and margaritas! I’m very happy that this is only a short drive from our place but I would drive a long ways to get to this food. We don’t know how we didn’t hear about this place before. it’s very small but wow, it packs a punch with the amazing food. I knew it was going to be good from just a margarita that we tasted at the offset. We tried tuna tostadas as an appetizer while waiting for friends.we shared the El Molcajete and we subbed out the calamari for octopus for an extra charge and oh. My. Goodness! Amazing!!!!! Our friends had the grilled fish and the other had seven tacos from all over the place and he loved it. This place is amazing. You gotta try it even if it’s a far drive from Tulum, but for us being in the small town of. Francisco uh may We are so glad to finally find this gem! It’s only been open a year so I shouldn’t feel so bad but check it out!!!

Best food in Tulum area, no doubt. Worth the 20 min drive from Centro. Everything was authentically made to order and you can taste the love in the food. The chef and service are one of a kind. I don’t leave reviews often, but Koox Janal deserves an immediate 5 stars.

We were recommended this spot by our air bnb host and are so happy we decided to come on our last night. Warm vibes, great service, even better food. If you’re not into hearing hearty laughs from a table full of people next to you and dogs at your feet while eating this isn’t the place for you.. Although I can assure you, that you will regret not getting over yourself and going. This is the perfect melting pot of locals and tourists, not to mention the chefs throw down. Presentation, flavor, and open late? What more do you really need? Not too sure, but they’d probably be good at that too. As a retired server myself, I am big on two things; good food & service. This cute little restaurant exceeded any expectation we had and we are so happy it is the closest dining to our future home.

De très loin et sans aucune hésitation le meilleur restaurant de toute la région. Des tacos et des burgers absolument délicieux, avec des ingrédients de première qualité. Une très belle découverte que je n'ai cessé d'approfondir tout au long de mon séjour. There is a reason this place has no reviews less than five stars. I think the molcajete was the best meal I have ever eaten. The steak was so tender it literally fell off my fork. Everything was seasoned *perfectly*. I had no idea nopales could be so delicious. It took a while to get our check but I could not begrudge them for anything, making food that good.

This restaurant was recommended to us by some locals, and it did not disappoint!!! They have a simple yet sophisticated menu. I opted for the pulpo taco and the calamari. Everything was delicious, crispy to perfection, not overly greasy or fried, just superb. The sauces were amazing, quality and service amazing, price was great as well. Highly recommend!!! A must visit- just drive 20 min outside of Tulum for an authentic Mexican experience!

Heerlijk gegeten. We hebben tacos met shrimp gehad. De beste tot nu toe van onze 4 weekse vakantie in Mexico. Daarna heerlijk New York Rib gehad. Alles was echt heerlijk en de mensen zijn zo vriendelijke en denken goed met je mee als het gaat om porties! Wij komen weer!

I have been here numerous times with my family and every time tue food has been excellent! Their steaks are delicious and always cooked to perfection! The staff are amazing and super friendly and I love that it family owned! The prices are decent and they have a decent selection of different foods! It is for sure a must try! Es un paraíso gastronómico ubicado entre los pueblos de Macario Gómez y Francisco Umay, cerca de Tulum. Sin duda, te puedo recomendar el café, los antojitos, sus tostadas y ceviches, sus hamburguesas, tacos y quesadillas... No podrás creer lo rico que se come en ese lugar, y seguro, regresaras por más, y no solo por la comida, si no por los amigos que seguro harás en ese lugar.

Un gran lugar, local pero demasiado demasiado delicioso, sin duda lo mejor que probé en mi visita al caribe, sé que está lejos de la zona pero vale la pena, probé el taco de pulpo, el de pescado, y una hamburguésa de res. Tortilla a mano, cada ingrediente perfectamente cuidado, sin duda tienen una calidad en los alimentos y presentación,es un lugar a orilla de carretera pero es muy acogedor y todos son súper amables, sin duda volvería a ir sin pensarlo. Nota: las aguas son lo más perro delucioso, si llevas prisa no vayas, se toman su tiempo porque cada bocado lo vale.

Beautiful little restaurant that you have to search it a little to find it. Tasteful environment nice music and the courses are made with love that you can taste, experience and technique. The plates are served nicely and carefully. Fun fact and pleasantly surprising that it is a restaurant that you don't expect to find it in a little village. The prices are low and the personal very kind. It totally worths a visit if you are in the area. We have been there twice and we were sorry that we discovered it just only in the last days of our vacation. Highly recommend.

On our way back to Tulum this place caught our eye so we did a U-turn and it did not disappoint! Such a unique experience. We split the special which was a cowboy ribeye. It came out sizzling on a grill. Steak was perfect! The staff was incredible! We may have to come back before we head back to the states.

Goodness gracious Great Balls of Fire those shrimp tacos changed my life. We did some pull the pork rib tacos and the beef tacos and the sweet corn ribs which were all excellent but please do yourself a flavor and get the shrimp tacos.

Just got back to Tulum after having an incredible meal at this little hole in the wall. My wife, myself and our neighbors loved the food here. Started off with fried calamari with French fries and a little salad which was good but the stars of our meals were the tacos. Shrimp, steak, pork rib, and octopus tacos were amazing! Wonderful little restaurant! The husband/wife team and the guy who does the grilling do a great job of making you feel welcome. Most importantly the food is amazing! We had molcahete with a mix of 5 proteins and the potato with carnitas. All delicious! Variety of sauces to go with it. I highly recommend the passion fruit margarita!
