This is the superior gelato shop in Laguna Beach. The flavors are unique and on constant rotation and the scoops come in several sizes. (Might be a silly thing to point out but other places offer only one size). Highly recommend!

Come here anytime we go to Laguna - is like a special tradition for our family. The gelato is very tasty and our serve as friendly and inviting. The place does draw a line but it goes pretty quick. There is a 2 sample limit - not sure if that's all the time or just busy times like weekends and holidays. We will be back.

Hands down some of the best high class Mexican food you can find in the OC I highly recommend this place for a wonderful evening! The flavors are off the chart and that’s not the tequila talking!

This is one of the best places! The gelato was amazing and they had tons of flavors, a nice variety of fruit and desert. The staff was very nice and I'm so glad I was able to get samples to help me decide. Definitely coming back to this place when I'm in the area again!

Amazing gelato with creative and delicious flavors. The vegan options are great and more delicious than the usual sorbet at most gelato places. One of my favorite places in Laguna.

Pricey but wonderful! They have vegan and dairy free options, in addition to traditional gelato flavors. Keep in mind that there will be a line on a hot day, so plan ahead. You can even get a gelato pie if you order it 48 hours in advance

If the lines at other ice cream and the gelato shops on highway 1 are too overwhelming for you, then this spot is a perfect alternative. There are about two dozen flavors of gelato and sorbet available to choose from. I specifically loved the "Fruits of the forest" sorbet, which was a zesty blend of my favorite berries, mixed in for a delicious and refreshing gluten-free and dairy-free treat. Again, this place is very easy to get to, from the junction of highway 133 and highway 1, and you're more likely to find easy, accessible parking nearby.

Great little spot for a refreshing delicious treat to take down to the beach. Pistachio is my favorite but I’ve also tried and loved the vanilla, chocolate chocolate chip and crème brûlée. Portions are very generous so expect the serving to be well over the size you ordered.

As much as I love Gelato, I have to give it to this place. It has the Star Wars themed Gelato. Very cool place.

The service was outstanding “Aubrey” was incredibly friendly, her service was excellent, and her smile truly made the experience even better. She was very helpful when it came to choosing flavors. The prices are very reasonable for the quality: • Kids size: $4.75 • Small: $5.95 • Medium: $6.95 • Large: $7.95 • ½ Pint: $6.95 • Pint: $10.95 • Quart: $20.95 There is a wide variety of flavors, and they are all rich, fresh, and delicious. Definitely a great spot for gelato lovers, and I would happily come back again.

We were walking around shopping in Laguna. The Dolce Gelato shop was a great way to sit and relax. They have many flavors to choose from for your sweet tooth. Seating is limited, but it's great to eat this tasty treat by the seaside. They have gelato for all ages.

I got the papaya/rhubarb sorbet and it was AMAZING. Def recommend. Line was so long, but moved pretty fast (especially in comparison to the other ice cream shops). Staff was nice except for the cashier 😭 they also have a restroom but limited seating

The Lono is this really good ginger sweet potato gelato that basically tastes like a ginger snap cookie in ice cream form. The kamohoali’li was very refreshing- lime coconut with a curaçao. We love coming back here every time! FYI there’s a 3 sample limit so choose wisely!

Each flavor, like my Ferrero Rocher gelato, was a revelation, perfectly capturing its description with creamy hazelnut goodness and rich chocolate. The peanut butter chip was equally impressive, with just the right balance of creaminess and sweetness. The warm and inviting ambience of the shop, with its cozy raised tables, made our treat even more enjoyable. Moreover, the clerks were patient, attentive, and very kind, despite the store being super busy; they never made us feel rushed. What's more, it wasn't expensive, adding to the overall positive experience. Hands down, this is the best gelato we've ever had, and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

There are two notable and amazing gelato spots in town here in Laguna, personally I love this one the most because of the unique flavors you will truly not taste anywhere else. They always have creative and interesting flavors based on different themes. I’ll always be a regular here when I’m close by!

I had the espresso and salted caramel maple. They were all SO delicious. The service was great as well, the lady helping us was very sweet.

Update a few years later, what a great surprise to see you still here in Laguna Beach! Brought the family and friends in tow to get gelato and it was fantastic again. Great selection of flavors and prices are great. See ya the next go-round. Fantastic gelato with great and comfy atmosphere! The downside is trying to pick from from all WONDERFUL flavors! We'll be back and thank you!

I was happily surprised by the delicious and varied VEGAN options. Visiting Cali for 1 week I visited the location twice. My only regret was that the 2nd time they ran out of vegan apple streusel. So I couldn't have my ala mode. The staff was very nice and highly accomodating as a brought in my family of 8. Thank you for the great flavorade; wish you had a location in Georgia! I will be back!!!

Would put zero stars if I could but wouldn’t let me but found a long hair deep in my gelato and when I called about it, the guy said “what do you want me to do about it?” I don’t know maybe apologize and give a solution.. instead had attitude about it. Usually one of my favorite places being a local but after today not anymore!

so my friend and I were in dolce gelato July 25 at 9:45 PM when I ordered mine gelato with no problem but my friend, and it might just because she’s short, was ignored and not offered for her order for several minutes. the person taking my order Went on to finish a waffle cone when the girl who rung me up, just stared at us and shuffle things around the counter. This girl had short brown hair and a white top and was singing a song that really didn’t match the vibe for Saturday night, but I digress. Anyways, that’s not my issue. My issue is the way that she rudely finally realize that the line has been held up because she didn’t help my friend.. she finally asked my friend if I need anything and she asked to try a sample which she orders a scoop of and she hastily grabs as she almost does it through rolled eyes. It’s OK to be a little tired. I know it’s a Saturday night and it’s been busy Laguna, but it was the tone of voice and the attitude that led me to write this review when it was time to ring up I definitely noticed her aggression and rudeness to my friend throughout the whole transaction, my friend is a really bubbly person so she was very chipper to say thank you multiple times and the girl ringing her up. Didn’t even bother to say thank you once even though she was the paying customer. Our issue isn’t even the boy who was probably focused on the waffle cone that was probably gonna burn, but our issue was with the girls attitude with the short brown hair and the brown eyes and the white shirt and the blue jeans at 9:45 on July 25 and Laguna Beach gelato thank you very much

Very bad customer service. They just stand there and watch you, don’t offer any help or greet you in any way to acknowledge your existence. The workers look like they despise your existence. The workers need more training for sure, I’d be fired at my job if I treated customers that way. First time I went it was a similar experience but at least she gave me decent sized scoops. When I went today the scoops were tiny. Would recommend taking your money elsewhere.

Online hours say closes at 5:30. Got there at 4:49 exactly, and there was only a few people in line. The line didn't even reach half way to the door and they said they couldn't help us. They're closing soon.

Guy in there sucked so much made a pile up of a line and didn’t tell us. Waited in there for 30 then he told us it was closed also flies on cream
