This place was amazing had me the red steer sandwiches flavors are just like they used to be. Customers serives was great food was great Turlock Definitely has a jewel with this spot.

I had the red deer pastrami it's quality is most def up to bar with a restaurant in Los Angeles called Philippi but the red deer sauce is by far better then Philippis French sauce. Awesome

What a unique eatery! I loved everything they brought me! Great taste and relaxing environment! Will come again!

The slice of pizza was huge, warmed to perfection, crippy and cheezy. The staff was courteous and friendly. Would recommend to those looking for a snack or a great bottle of wine.

Wonderful gem of a restaurant in downtown Turlock. Everything is made from scratch here, and the taste of the food reflects it. It is like walking into your mother's kitchen.

My wife and I came here today for our first time. It was relatively early and a Sunday morning so not busy at all. The people that helped us were incredible and a joy to talk to. The food is absolutely amazing in our opinion, at least what we've had so far. I had the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich on focaccia and my wife had the cinnamon roll pancakes. For the breakfast sandwich, the sausage is made fresh in house and was phenomenal. The mixture of the smell of the Focaccia, the Savory Taste of the sausage and the creaminess of the egg mixed together perfectly. The pancakes sweet but not overbearingly so. The ratio of sweetness to Cinnamon taste came through perfectly.

Brought my Mom & Daughter for lunch & ended up buying 2 more to-go items...It's that good. Raul hooked us up on the Pastrami dip & open face turkey plate! We live in Oakdale...but we will definately be back. 💥💥💥💥💥

Wow, not often am I truly happy to have found a great restaurant... we ordered just about everything to try and we were not disappointed. The food is seriously fresh, loyal and yummy. Service is amazing and the establishment is clean. I reccomend the roast beef.

George had a sense of humor and really made us feel at home. This place got packed having Red Steer next door as they share the building. Definitely would recommend to friends and family. We loved every single thing. Our daughter is very picky about her pizza and she went in for seconds, so that says a lot. The potato soup was the best potato soup I’ve ever had that wasn’t my own. We grabbed some cookies and a brownie to go and those were a 10/10! Definitely stop in for a bite to eat. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on their menu. We will be back soon. Their breakfast menu looks delicious too.

There was no flavor even when I dipped the au jus sauce they gave me. I had to add mayo and mustard and pepper to give the sandwich some life. Some cheese would be nice too. The chicken salad was alright and for $4 more you get more chicken which I think for $17 for a salad you would have thought there should be a good amount of chicken breast. On the other hand the pizza was very delicious, the crust was perfect and the seasonings were on point. I was surprised by my first bite after having been disappointed. Nevertheless everything was above $17.

I was looking forward to my favorite pizza but when I walked in no one greeted me or told me they’d be with me. There were pizzas still available by the slice and it was way before closing. After someone finished up with another customer they never took my order. Waited in the front for at least 5 minutes. Two women working in the back. I asked loudly enough if I could place an order and no one even looked up at me. Waited another minute before just leaving. It was like I was invisible, I’ve never experienced anything like it.
