We came in on a Saturday, around noon. The place is clean and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. We ordered their Mahi mahi plate. You get a choice of your protein, sauce, and 2 sides. We chose the garlic butter sauce, the sides of rice, and rosemary zucchini. The mahi mahi was perfectly grilled. They give you 3 fairly thin portions. Rice and vegetables were also cooked to perfection. Overall we were pleased with our meal. The meals are fairly priced.

The customer service is great! I wish I obtained the young mans name that was at the register while we were doing self order. He was very pleasant and attentive. I ordered the catfish, white rice and rosemary zucchini. I didn't care for the Zucchini only because rosemary is strong. Spent $21

It was very busy when we visted but the staff was awesome. They got the line down and orders out without skipping a beat. The ceasor salad was my favorite. I ordered a white fish with cajun sauce and zucchini. It was okay, i feel it could have been seasoned more but overall it was better compared to other places. The fish tacos is a must have.. it was tasty.

I use to dine in here at least once or twice every other month because they had great service and food tasted good. After this self service machines just like every where else that has these machines customer service is out of the door. Past few times (dine in) including this one (take-out), rude service. My personal opinion customer service no different then a McDonald's customer service. Food just doesn't taste the same to me. Keep in mind we all have different taste buds, so I do recommend trying this place at least once.

Update: I have returned to give this place another chance and was delighted. I ordered the kids fish and chips and it was the perfect portion and the smaller pieces of fish had less batter making them delicious! Great experience! I'm from the Pacific Northwest. I love good fish and chips. Unfortunately California Fish Grill underwhelmed. The breading was light and crisp, but lacked any flavor. The fish was listed as "white fish" instead of cod and had a heavier texture to it than cod. Before arriving, I mistakenly thought the grill was a restaurant, but it is actually more of an upscale takeout place. There is seating but you order at the counter. Many items on my order were forgotten and I had to keep returning to the counter to get both items that were forgotten as well as items that should have been included automatically (like napkins and utensils). The clam chowder also was nothing to get excited about. Overall, everything was adequate, but not a place I would go out of my way to return to.

I have the cajun catfish and shrimp with rice and grilled zucchini. The was a mix up with my order. I ended waiting for my order while I watch my colleagues have their meals. It's my first time here. The food was excellent. It was worth the wait.

Food great! The price is awesome for fish! And kids food is great! Only thing I wish they had for kids was more veggie options maybe broccoli? But other than that no complaints! Love it Okay 11months later... And now the review is different. From 5 stars to 3 stars. Price is still good. But the taste is a bit plain, my wife, son and I immediately realized this once we started eating. The skin on my wife's salmon was a bit too burnt for her taste, but I did ask for well done salmon. I ordered the Sea bass, not bad but not enough sauce from the new hawaiian BBQ sauce. Speaking of which. OMG must ask for the Hawaiian BBQ Glaze!!! I don't know why they don't have this as a sauce to put over the food! But It does come as a dipping sauce for the new shrimp but yes! A totally must have to try if you haven't. Little of a let down to be honest from a family driving 5 hours to visit and going out of our way to grab delicious food. We will give it another try in the future, but hopefully next time it will be better!

Ordered the 3 fish and chips plate. It comes with fish, fries, and cabbage salad. Would of gave them 4 stars but the fries were not cooked fresh. Lil disappointed.

Over priced, used to love shrimp tacos but has been flavorless and disappointing. They couldn’t even be bothered to add an enough asparagus to cover the bottom of their oversize tray over a dollar apiece.

I ordered a shrimp bowl with cauliflower rice. The shrimp was good, however the rice was super mushy and watery. It completely ruined my meal. I really wanted to like this place but considering that cauliflower rice is over $2 extra and cooked down to pudding I won’t be coming back.

Food was decent but my experience was definitely influenced by the weird vibes of the older white male worker with glasses. Right off the bat when ordering, he was kinda hostile. Didn't think much of it. Then I realized he kept going to every single table to check up on them...except ours. It definitely felt like a microagression because he kept checking on the white diners...but not the brown diners.

On Monday, 11/3, the cook made such a mess of our order. She gave us burnt fish that was hard and dry. It was like eating a jerky. We only got half of a taco. The fries were tasteless. The bowl was bland. The girl handing out the orders was so grumpy. ETC. Never again!!!

Worst place. Don't accept bills over 20 . How stupid is that. If you hate American currency so much why even do business here. Go to Mexico and get paid in pesos. On one hand want more and more revenue but won't even accept 50 dollar bill. The service is poor. They are stingy about sauces and portions. And seems like everyone is confused about orders. You got to see how much fiddling goes on while they pack to go orders .
