I go there when I go with friends to Malciaussia for pleasant hikes, so not regularly, but periodically. I really like both the atmosphere and the people. The food is usually excellent, varied, and beautifully presented. Yesterday, with friends, we had a great time, as usual.

We went this morning at 10:00 for breakfast. We only tried the bar, but we had a great time! There are several tables outside, well-protected from the sun, and the terrace has a lovely view of the town square. The atmosphere is very familiar and welcoming. The staff is very kind and helpful. The cappuccino was excellent, and the croissants (which were plain but could be filled with apricot, berry, chocolate, or pistachio jam) were still warm and delicious. Highly recommended!

We stopped for a bite to eat during a motorcycle ride. A quick stop because we were a little tired. I had the best speck and brie sandwich I've ever had... warm bread and crunchy speck that smelled amazing... All in a lovely, young, cheerful atmosphere with a stunning view. Great price! Congratulations, guys! P.S. I park my bike in front of the window 😉, it never hurts.

A very welcoming place. Unique decor reminiscent of the mountain area, spacious, with plenty of seating, and the option to eat outside in the warmer months. Really fair prices. Friendly staff who make you feel at home. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. The menu features high-quality home-cooked food. Delicious homemade desserts. I'm truly satisfied and highly recommend it.

Se cerchi un posto autentico in montagna dove rilassarti con un aperitivo al fresco d’estate, Il Caminetto di Margone è una piccola meraviglia da non perdere. Circondato dalle montagne della Valle di Lanzo, il locale ha un’atmosfera rustica e accogliente che ti fa sentire subito a casa — semplice ma genuina, proprio come ci si aspetta in un borgo di montagna. Il dehor all’aperto è perfetto per sorseggiare un drink in pausa tra un’escursione e l’altra, godendosi il vento leggero e la vista verdeggiante della valle. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile, sempre pronto con un sorriso, e l’ambiente ha quel sapore di semplicità che invita a restare a chiacchierare fino al tramonto. Durante le mie visite estive, l’aperitivo qui è stato davvero un momento di relax: niente fronzoli, ma qualità e freschezza, con bevande ben preparate, calici di vino o birre che si abbinano bene ai sapori del posto. La cucina del Caminetto propone piatti tradizionali piemontesi, pizze e piatti locali che completano l’esperienza se decidi di restare anche per cena. Un vero rifugio estivo in montagna, ideale per chi ama i sapori sinceri, il clima fresco e le chiacchiere lente all’aperto. Consigliatissimo!

Nice food and good atmosphere

​Ci siamo fermati per un pit-stop veloce dopo una sessione di sci di fondo. L'ambiente è accogliente, l'esperienza complessiva è stata nella media, senza particolari guizzi. Nota di merito per la parte l'ottimo dolcetto. Il tè e la cioccolata calda erano nella norma. Un posto onesto per una pausa rapida, ma con margine di miglioramento. Da rivalutare per cena o pranzo. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto apprezzare nessuna delizia Ma abbiamo visto passare un tagliere interessante.

Since we were there on August 15th, we probably got a bit lost in the crowd of people waiting to be served. I found all the dishes excessively salty. I must say, however, that the service was attentive and the staff were very accommodating to our requests. Would definitely try again during a quieter period. Good location.
