We went to Bar Sport in Vailate with friends on a Saturday night: a crowded place, a lively atmosphere, and decor reminiscent of '90s pizzerias, simple and unfussy. The house specialty is undoubtedly the pizzas, huge enough to overflow the plate. Despite their size, they're well-made: light and thin crust, good-quality ingredients. Prices are average, but the value for money is truly unbeatable. If you can't finish one (very likely!), you can take the leftovers home. In addition to pizzas, there's also a menu with dishes that, judging by the way they're being served, look very promising, even though we didn't try them ourselves. The selection of craft beers and the wine display are interesting. One downside: the wine bottles aren't refrigerated, and, thanks to the heat of the pizzeria's oven, the wines risk being served too hot to be appreciated. That's why we avoided them. A dedicated refrigerator, at least for white wines, would certainly be helpful. The service, despite the Saturday night crowd, was courteous and fast. Highly recommended for an evening with friends over pizza and beer.

One of the best pizzerias, the pizza, besides being delicious, is huge and with abundant toppings, EXCELLENT value for money, everyone is kind and friendly, I highly recommend it.

I've been coming here for years to enjoy one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Since 1996, it's been a regular stop with my college friends, and we always meet up at least two or three times a year. A generous portion of fries, a plate of mayonnaise, a 1-liter glass bottle of Coke, and then the Pizza! I've also been there often with my family, and they can't wait to go back, despite the distance... It's worth it.

It's been years since I've been to this pizzeria, and I must say it has never lost quality, and the pizzas have remained generous in size. It's a simple pizzeria with plenty of seating, and the service is pleasant because everyone is very friendly. I was happy and satisfied to have taken a dip into the past. Fair prices for the quality and quantity of the food. Few pizzerias still offer a cover charge of pizza, beer, and dessert for €21. They also offer four types of dough: regular, Neapolitan, whole wheat, and multigrain, with the option of lactose-free mozzarella.

HUGE pizza, finishing it without taking it home is a real challenge! Thin dough, the option to order two flavors, some original options on the menu, and the focaccias are also delicious. Excellent ingredients. Huge portions and reasonably priced. The desserts are appreciable, but never as good as the savory ones. Special mention goes to the extremely kind, helpful, and punctual staff, who make you feel at home. Recommended for the pizza (I still have to try the food), especially if you're really hungry!

The place is cute and has a very family-friendly atmosphere. The food is very good, the portions are generous, and the price is fair. You can order pizza in different sizes, but if you don't finish your order, the staff is more than willing to give you a box to take home your leftovers.

Pizza like yo never had before

Famoso locale della "pizza grande di Vailate". Adatto per una cena informale con amici o familiari, in quanto l'arredamento è un po' vintage anni '80, più simile ad una pizzeria da asporto che ad un ristorante in cui mangiare. I tavoli sono puliti e il servizio preciso e veloce. Il menù offre una vastissima selezione di pizze e alcune soluzioni più classiche tipo il fritto misto. I piatti sono ben preparati, con buoni ingredienti e cotti al punto giusto. Le aspettative in merito alla dimensione della pizza vengono soddisfatte in pieno. Il rapporto qualità prezzo e decisamente buono.

The place is renowned for its huge piazzas. Although quality is average low the toppings selection and sizes are remarkable. We came here as a memory of our youth when the quality of the products was secondary rather than quantity. The place kept its bettola look which is romantic for us that were living in the 70s.

Pizza molto grande e buona. Capo sala assolutamente scortese: entriamo, chiede se abbiamo prenotato e dopo aver riferito nome e orario con tono maleducato senza nemmeno guardarci in faccia ci indica un tavolo. Ambiente piccolo (classica pizzeria d'asporto), il loro telefono squilla spesso e rumorosamente (visto che devono prendere anche le ordinazioni d'asporto), qualsiasi suono o voce rimbomba.

The pizzas were good, but everything else was a mess. The fries were raw and tasteless. Beers got lost along the way, pizzas from the table next to ours were forgotten, and the table in the middle of the room under the air conditioning felt like a blizzard. The funny thing was that the air blew my girlfriend's hair and it sounded like she was on a scooter. I'd also advise the management to check the air conditioning filter because every now and then, bits of something strange would come out. I won't be going back.
