Had a great lunch here. The paella Valenciana was absolutely delicious 🥘 and the service was outstanding. Got there without reservation and despite the kitchen having reached the maximum capacity for paella orders, they went the extra mile to make one more for us. Jota nos trato de mil maravillas y aunque iban desbordados y cortos de personal en la cocina, superaron nuestras expectativas. Ojala tod@s l@s camarer@s y cociner@s de Valencia tuvieran la misma dedicacion que Jota y Pascual! :)

Fui a comer una paella con vistas al mar, y aunque el mar no se ve bien porque está un poco lejos según la mesa en la que te toqué, la comida está buenísima. Pedí una paella valenciana con pollo y me encantó. Me atendieron rápido y muy bien. Aviso!! Es importante reservar y además reservar una paella o arroz si es lo que vas a querer comer. El restaurante se llena enseguida y es casi imposible conseguir mesa (en mi caso fue domingo y se llenó entero)

Hemos estado comiendo y ha estado todo genial. Antonio, súper amable, nos montó una mesa donde elegimos, al sol, con nuestra perrita. La paella muy rica y generosa. Las vistas, pues eso, encima de la playa, contemplado el mediterráneo.

Sitio tranquilo para comer en una terraza frente al mar. No es barato, pero realmente pagas lo que comes. Estaba todo de 10 🏆 Los camareros muy amables. *Gracias Marcos por tu excelente atención* Y también al otro camarero de la “Cassalla 0/0%” jajajaj con tan buen sentido del humor. Totalmente recomendable. No dudo volver.

Un auténtico placer desde la atención telefónica hasta el servicio en mesa. Isabel nos atendió con encanto y profesionalidad un 10, sin dejar de comentar la atención de José se otro 10. Fantastic vibrant restaurant by the sea. The food is great and the beer comes in frosted glasses but what really makes this place is the service. The staff were all super friendly, in particular our waitress : Rosa.

Delicious food. High quality. Good value. Lovely views. Great service. Nicest meal we have had on holiday. Recommend you book in advance for a late lunch as we had to wait for a table to be made up as most of the tables were reserved. The toasted bread and garlic butter was amazing and unexpected from the 'would you like bread'. Kids loved the grilled 'fingers of chicken'. We enjoyed the salad Dehesa with the Calamares.

The new owners from Holland are doing a great job! The food was amazing. I had a ensalada de la huerta and sepia a la plancha. It was both delicious. The atmosphere was relax and peaceful. If u make bookings ....make sure you book the Devesa Jose Luis one....when u arrive on the beach...the left one

Brilliant location. Service acceptable but a tad too rushed. Felt like they wanted me done to get the table turned. Food was acceptable but small portions and was a little over cooked. Think the wine list was limited. Not to say it was bad, but wasn't fabulous. Just for the location think it is worth a visit and overall was value for money.

Paella was fantastic, and the other meals we had were also really good!! The staff were typical in their Spanish manner, funny and friendly. Sangria also very nice. Great for a typical Spanish experience and right on the beach so lovely views and good for the kids to play.👍

Si bien el ambiente es ideal la comida y el servicio ya no son lo que era. Teníamos mesa a las 13,30 y tras unos Calamares el arroz reservado ya hace tres días ha llegado a las 14:40 tras reclamarlo 3 veces y que nos explicarán si pasaba algo...la chica nos ha respondido que era Domingo, respuesta que no nos ha convencido...hemos pedido que nos lo emplataran sabiendo que no es habitual y parece no haber sentado bien. Lo peor ha sido el arroz abanda, duro y sin el sabor distintivo y propio que tenía cuando lo gestionaba el dueño original. Sepia dura y gambas diminutas, como digo sin el sabor característico de siempre, salado...una desilusión. Ni nos hemos llevado lo que nos hemos dejado , tras acabar y esperar nuevamente, se nos ha hecho una cuesta arriba pedir el típico Biscuit Glace y hemos optado por acabar pidiendo la cuenta e incluso si podía ir a pagar a la caja... Fatal y mucha tristeza porque ha sido mi restaurante favorito durante muchísimos años.

We hardly took anything special, we drank beer and coffee. The bill is very high due to the sea view, apparently. But the food doesn't justify it. Everything is very ordinary and small portions. The last dish was taken out when we had already eaten and drank everything, separately from everything, after 30 minutes, after I asked 2 times when the dish would be ready. Everything is beautiful, the place is good! Sea Sun! Very friendly staff. If you are already here - drink coffee and go to eat in the city, it is very tasty and not so expensive!

En unas mesas que tienen aparte y un ventanuco por donde atienden, pedí un plato de paella, que me sirvieron en un envase para llevar, tipo catering, cubiertos de plástico y cerveza en plástico. Estaba incomible y aún me dijo q es de las que sirven allí. El precio 12 EUROS solo la paella!! Todo lo demás cobrado aparte.Acabó comiéndoselo el 🐶.

hice reserva para las 2.30pm y a pesar de ello demoraron en atendernos. Y la verdad No me gustó el plato Arroz caldoso que sirvieron nada de gusto , sin sazón ni sabor, 2 mejillones 2 almejas y picado sería el marisco que a duras penas. Lensalada de casa tenía mucha Lechuga y 4 aceitunas medio huevo y un tomate trozado en 4 y dos pedazos de sardinas sería. Para lo que tuve que pagar. 75€ totalmente insatisfecha. Quizás para los demás comensales les resulte sabroso pero a mi parecer sus platos no son agradables

Falta de profesionalidad y mala educación .Pedí coger una aceitera, El camarero amablemente asintió. Cogí un aceite de buena marca de los que tenían, salió el encargado de malas maneras y nos quitó el aceite alegando que ese era demasiado bueno. Fue nada profesional además de dejar a su compañero como si fuera basura. Ese de la foto es el aceite que nos sirvió con la tostada que no lo era(pan sin tostar). No volveremos desde luego Ojo a la factura

We ordered a couple of drinks and bread and olives as a snack and were turned away as not eating a full meal. This was particularly disappointing as we would have ordered more if there were any vegan options but this was literally all we could eat on the menu.

I had lunch on the 21st of September at this restaurant Dehesa Jose Luis, located at Calle Pintor Francisco Lozano, 1, Pobles del Sud, 46012 València. I had no booking. The location is attractive and the view inviting. That is the last positive detail. From the beginning, service broke down. Staff contradicted each other about what was available, orders were confused, and the wrong dish was delivered. When confronted, the explanation was this is the only thing we have for that dish. In that moment, accuracy became optional and the guest’s choice irrelevant. What should have been a pleasant lunch turned into a clear example of disregard. This is not an accident, it is a system: showcase the setting, then dismiss the customer. A restaurant that operates this way wastes money, destroys confidence, and damages the reputation of Valencia dining. No guest should have to experience that.

Absolutely terrible experience. The staff just doesn’t care about the customers. We arrived at 3pm and tried to order something to lunch. One person said we could not order, the other said yes except the paella. So we ask our dishes to the girl that was always looking to watch trying to say it was too late, maybe? If it was too late, they could just let us know. And we would not order, of course. They confirmed we could order after some time. So we order grilled chicken and they brought fried chicken pieces full of gluten and oil, to the table without even check if they could switch. They didn’t even ask we are allergic to gluten. They also brought octopus and it was very salty. The sangria was terrible. The staff and the restaurant just don’t care about people they are proving a service.

Yo, this place straight trash fr. We waited hours on our boy’s plate, asked ‘em what’s up, and they actin’ dumb like they ain’t know nothin. No respect, no discount, no tryna make it right. Whole crew ate already, my dude sittin there starvin like he bout to pass out. Food mid, service worse. Don’t waste ya time here, real talk.

The slowest service ever. We’ve been waiting for menu more then 15 minutes, then found it on site. Then I’ve been waiting for the gazpacho for 1 hour!!! Then 15 minutes of waiting for a bill. The prices are like in very good restaurants, but food aren’t tasty and service is awful. If you are going to this beach, it’s better to bring food with you and don’t visit this place.

Can you imagine how much it costed for the bread? 12€ because we were 4 persons. It is totally nonsense. We didn’t ask for the bread but the waiter brought it to our table and suggested us if we wanted so accepted it. We thought it was free or with some general price of the bread because the waiter didn’t say anything. We felt like being robbed when we paid. Now let’s check this €76 fideuá. The taste was okay but the quality of the seafood was very poor compared to the price. Also, the waiters didn’t really care about the hygiene. When they served the cups, they touched the surface of the cup with fingers where the lips of customers are supposed to be. I can say this restaurant has a nice view but nothing more than that.

Nice location, shame about the service and the food. We were advised that we would have to wait 20-30 mins for our paella (chicken & prawns). When we checked with the waiter after 30 mins, we were told we would have to wait another 20 mins. Meanwhile the table next to us ordered after us and got served before us. When we complained, the lady at the till initially said our food had gone to another table, then changed her mind. The waiter did not check back once with us or offer any more drinks. No discount was ordered or apologies for the wait. The water's attitude left alot to be desired. No one minds waiting for great food. However, when it arrived, omly 2 pieces of chicken and 4 prawns and not the tastiest paella we have had. Would not recommend the food and it was expensive for what it was. We had better food in Valencia on a €12 Lunch menu.
