Hemos estado comiendo en el Forcat, como se agradece este tipo de restaurantes! Un menú con buen precio los platos apetecibles y con ingredientes de calidad! Una sopa riquísima, la carrillada el bacalao. Y bueno para una vegetariana nos han hecho una paella de verduras que estaba riquísima! Ambiente tranquilo agradable y atendidos por profesionales de verdad,sin necesidad de irse fuera de Valencia ni pagar precios de locura. Al examinar su carta precios competitivos. Vamos a volver a probar sus arroces. Gracias porque convertís el comer en un placer.

Encontramos este restaurante por casualidad, el domingo de Pascua. Preguntamos y se podía comer en ese momento, así que entramos y no pudimos acertar más. Varios tipos de menús, un trato exquisito por la camarera y por Santiago, que tuvieron varios detalles con nosotros. Celebré feliz mi cumpleaños junto a mi familia. Gracias!

Great food and service. All the waiters were very nice and polite. Although we talked to them in Spanish, they noticed we had been talking in English to each other and switched the language. The food was expensive, but the portions are generous, well served and greatly seasoned. The menu is both in Spanish and English and it has little icons showing what type of ingredient is included (seafood, gluten, etc). The place is also well kept and looks great. It's an excellent option for a good meal for a special occasion.

Definitely reccomend it! We ate 2 days in a row here. We took menu del dia, it was very tasty (we ate here the best Paella). We enjoyed the interior, the food, the location, the kindness of the 2 waiter guys, very short waiting time. I wished to have Agua de valencia on the glass or per 1/2 persons like you do with Sangria.

Both visits we had at the El Forcat restaurant were memorable. We ate the best Valencian paella in the city, and the seafood one was extremely tasty, remarkably cooked by two Romanian chefs. The service was prompt, the waiters were very helpful, and the location is decorated with great taste. The atmosphere is truly typical of Valencia. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food.

We ate here tonight and had a fabulous meal. There were four of us and we decided to have the tasting menu. The starters were incredible. We had the mussels , the ham and cheese and the squid and I’ve never tasted mussels so good before. The mains were just as delicious - we had the pig cheeks ,the swordfish and the cod. On top of all this service was amazing. We would thoroughly recommend it.

The best restaurant in Valencia! No doubt! This place holds incredible history. Congrats to the staff and the owner! We had here the best dinner during our stay in Valencia. Happy that we were able to get vegetarian paella as well as an incredible beef. The ambiance is really nice as well. The waiters are the most polite and guide you like pros. We are only staying here for the week and we are already thinking of coming back tomorrow for another meal. Oh, and the sangria! You have to try their sangria! It was so so good. Highly recommend for dinner with friends, family, or couple 🤍🙂‍↕️

Devoured!!! Staff is amazing, so very attentive and helpful with food choices! Atmosphere was great and the restaurant is so authentic! Also the location is amazing, right after your meal you can take a stroll around , browse shops or go for some ice cream! & Don’t ask me how I ate all of this, it was just that delicious! We absolutely LOVED this restaurant. The service was understated, efficient and friendly. We opted for the fixed menu at 27 euros which gave a choice of two starters, mains and dessert. We opted to share the Black Rice as a main which was simply outstanding and comes highly recommended. The wine list was a bit limited but very keenly priced. Go hungry because the portion sizes are not on the small side. There are a few mixed reviews for the restaurant which made us consider if it was the right choice but please don't be put off because it is an excellent all rounder!

5/5 we took paella 🥘, and two cold starters. It was delicious and food was fresh. I would give 3/5 score for the waiting but staff 5/5 after we got “our time” we got full service! Paella was really nice, we took one of seafood and one with octopus, with black ink. For the desert was really nice flam. Overall it was worth to wait and get the traditional “Vale” taste of the food

Comida: fuimos en plenas fiesta de Fallas, tenian menú cerrado, aunque fuera de esas fechas tienen un menú variado. En el menú cerrado entraban tres entrantes, degustación de tres arroces y postre, pero no incluía la bebida Servicio: rápido y amable Ambiente: local sin ventanas exterior, tampoco vi salida de emergencia. This restaurant is recommended by the hotel staff! Looks empty from the outside, but the space is pretty large when you stepped in. We ordere the tasting menu during 1. 3 appetizers 1. Ensalade de tomate, the tomate is super fresh, very simple but great flavor. 2. Grilled pepper with cured cod: never thought the cured cod is thin slice, but very similar to one of Taiwan delicacy. It's different and enjoyed it. 3. Baby squid with bean: never tried it before, but I liked the flavor. Main dish:Paella de Valenciana. Different than the typical Paella with marisco. I like this meat with beans more. All those flavor and portion was magnificent. After the meal, I was super full and cannot handle any desserts. But we had expreso to complete this meal. Highly recommend!

Travelling solo I was looking for a spot where I could sample paella without having to order a huge amount, El Forcat to the rescue with two daily paellas that can be ordered in smaller portions. The place was booming with locals celebrating various occasions, I just ordered the three course menu that included a salad, paella and dessert, which turned out to be way too much. Overall the food was okay, paella was the best part.

The place looks really good. The paella tasted good. Even the wines were good. They make everything right from the time you order. So our waiting time was 40 minutes. We ordered wine by the glass. That was also okay. Price is reasonable for the atmosphere and taste and the super friendly staff!

Very local restaurant with traditional food. We ordered 2 Daily Menu’s for 2 persons and it was a little too much food but was great taste!: Starters: we had the seafood soup and the squid salad. I’ve had a dinner here last Saturday with a friend of mine. The menu included a first course, a second course and a dessert/coffee. We ordered a chicken salad with tartar sauce and fried squid. Tho…

Fui con amigos según las buenas reseñas sin embargo lo único bueno fué la amabilidad del camarero . Cuando entré vi dos paellas en la sala al aire y pregunté si eran la que venían en el menú. El camarero me dijo que sí y ya mirando el aspecto se me va casi el hambre si tengo que comer un plato de paella de una paellera llena al 50%. Pedimos del menú y en mi cao una ensalada de pollo donde había solo 4 trocitos de cubitos de pollo con lechuga, zanahoria, una salsa y creo jamón en cubitos, casi suficiente. La carrillera de cerdo estaba bastante buena si no por los trocitos de patatas sin sabor y especias abandonadas encima, sin sentido , sería más correcto del puré de patatas . Lo más triste fué el coulant, empezando desde la forma parecida a un muffin y la falta total de chocolate fundido, solo dos gotas. Todo esto se puede comprobar en las fotos. Seguramente no volveré .

No tengo experiencia en este restaurante ya que a menos de un día para acudir a él nos mandan un WhatsApp obligándonos a tener que elegir un menú de 30€ (sin bebida) por comensal, dos adultos y dos niños, cuando en el momento de hacer la reserva (una semana antes) no nos dijeron nada en absoluto. Nos dejaron tirados sin poder reservar en ningún otro sitio ya que era el día 1 de marzo primera mascletá. Una marranada lo que nos han hecho. Así que me da igual que su comida sea buena o mala, como personas no valen ni una estrella.
