As soon as I can I go to dinner there because the food is very good and the waitresses are very kind and polite.
My husband and I had dinner here in November. They seated us right away in the second room, which was quieter and more intimate than the one at the entrance. Very quick service, from two experienced ladies. We ordered two pizzas and a mixed fried calamari dish that we'd heard great things about. I have to say, they were right!! Excellent!! Soft, light, and tasty! Highly recommended! Very satisfied! 👍
First time there for dinner, modern, informal atmosphere, fast and precise service, I had seafood pasta, what can I say... excellent, very tasty and a nice portion to enjoy it more. Highly recommended.
Let's get to the point: 3 mixed fried dishes + 1 fried anchovy 4 drinks 4 desserts 4 covers €103, so €25 per person. The portions are generous. We couldn't eat anything else; we were full. The waiters are obviously busy (€5 tip from the tip jar at the bar). Sorry, I didn't take a photo, but the fried food is just like the others. Fried food is mostly squid, baby cuttlefish, anchovies, and two king prawns. The first 5 or 6 desserts are homemade (and delicious). Parking is fairly available; a little further on, the hospital parking lot, becomes free from 7:30 PM onwards.
I often go there with friends because I consider it one of the best pizzerias in Ovada. The pizza is superb, but the fish dishes are also truly excellent, as are the desserts. Excellent value, as is the very attentive and fast service. Highly recommended
Dinner in transit, but what can I say? Everything was perfect! Fabulous seafood spaghetti, unforgettable fried food. Very kind staff and a lovely place to recommend to everyone.
We stopped by chance for a break on our trip. We were truly satisfied. The three dishes we ordered were all truly excellent. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!!!
The fried fish is extraordinary, the tiramisu is well-balanced, and the staff is friendly and serves you quickly even when the place is busy. The portions are truly generous; eating here is good for the stomach and the soul!

Birthday dinner with two friends, very good dishes, I enjoyed the lobster linguine, fried calamari cooked perfectly... I had asked for a cake at very short notice (2 days), they were very kind in accommodating me, very good cake ☺️..
I recommend it only and only... I visited the restaurant around 8pm and the last table was free.. The fish was fresh and everything was good.. Thank you for your time and for the good food.. Always stay fresh.. Bye Natalie.
We stopped for a pizza before heading back to Liguria from Milan. The pizza was very good; it didn't leave us thirsty all night, and the dishes we saw being served at other tables were very inviting. We paid very little, and I really liked the place and found it very clean. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. I travel to Liguria often and will definitely stop at this restaurant again.
First time at Peperoncino. I wasn't very hungry, so I had grilled sea bream. My friends had seafood spaghetti, Milanese, and grilled sea bass. Dessert was tiramisu and gelato, all delicious. Service was fast. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It's not expensive. We'll be back.
The shrimp appetizer was good, and the Nutella panna cotta was delicious... shame about the fried food, which was dry. €60 for two, average. Anyway, we'll return in the hope of getting a fifth star.
I wasn't sure if the fried food was fresh or defrosted, but I know it was delicious. I highly recommend it. I really enjoyed the tiramisu, which was plentiful and had a lot of cream. The place was pleasantly warm on a winter weeknight.

We were passing through and decided to stop for a bite to eat. We ordered a cured meat appetizer, which was delicious. For our first course, we had the classic ravioli with ragù, which was quite good. For our second course, we had the sliced beef, with gorgonzola and walnuts. My colleague had a truffle cream. Unfortunately, I disagree with the chef's choice of these two dishes. The meat was good, but unfortunately, its flavor was overshadowed by the excessive amount of sauce. At the next table, they served fish dishes, which were very inviting. If we return, we'll try the fish.
Good pizza and focaccia, good value for money, generous portions. Definitely worth a try.
The pizzeria is located on a street with little parking available. There is one within a 10-minute walk that is free. The place is small. To hear what the person next to you is saying, you have to raise your voice. The fish is good. The pizza dough was raw. For my taste, it was very thin, but it needed to be in the oven a little longer.
Last night I bought two takeaway pizzas, Quattro Stagioni and Gorgonzola e Tonno, I have to say that I have never eaten such low quality pizzas, I am a pizza lover, thin and burnt the Quattro Stagioni and with a shameful lack of components in the filling, the other rubbery and almost raw. I think I will not recommend anyone to buy from them
