Stopped here for lunch during skiing on a sunny April day and had a lovely experience. Delicious pasta (we had pasta with gorgonzola sauce, vegetable lasagne & bolognese) and the potato dips were excellent - which are available as a bar snack. The apple Strudel for dessert was particularly good. 12 - 20 euros for the mains. Fantastic location with gorgeous mountain views, away from the crowds & lifts. We would definitely visit again.

Definitely the best mountain food I’ve found in the resort. If skiing from Zermatt for the day, I highly recommend this spot to get a taste of Italy. Reservations suggested. Great sun even as early as December. Music is a solid vibe.

Definitely top place in Valtournenche ski area! We had both good lunch inside (Minestrone was very good, local topical bread soup as well), chill afternoon prosecco and Brule outside.. Although the place is comparably pricy, we enjoyed it to the fulliest!

We stopped there for an afternoon coffee and were impressed by the delicious cakes as well as coffee. Torta di nocciola was probably the most moist and soft one I ever tasted. The crostata was perfect too.

Brilliant. Stunning views of the mountains, great service and very tasty food. The whole operation is quite slick which means they can process quite a few customers who don’t have reservations (like us - a pair of friends). Pasta dishes particularly strong, my only comment being they could be sized more like other huts in the area (larger). The ravioli with sausage ragu was delicious but left us both wanting another couple of mouthfuls!

I stopped here during a snowy skiing day. The hot chocolate, the incredibly welcoming staff and the cozy environment of the restaurant made it the perfect spot to relax and warm up. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable pit stop with great drinks and a friendly atmosphere!

The food here is absolutely fantastic. It was so good we came back for lunch a second time (and saw people from the day before). Had handmade pesto gnocchi (incredible), ravioli and bolognaise. Pasta dishes are around €10-15 —- it was absolutely brilliant. The restaurant is female owned (her father is the chef) and it’s there second season in business. Must try there fried polenta with your choice of cheese 🫕 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing food, amazing views. Family run operation they took over in Nov 2021. Nicole the daughter was so friendly. We came back twice during our stay. We loved the smoked trout with fried polenta, the ravioli was fantastic and the hummus plate was delicious. Get the chips! The tiramisu for dessert was lovely. They even had gluten free options. It’s a short uphill climb in the summer that is absolutely worth it. They told us in the winter bookings are worthwhile! We took the cable car one direction and hiked all the way down (1.5 hours) on the way back along the 107 to Pereres. Highly recommended!!

Nuova gestione da 5 anni ad ora. Menu rivisitato quindi non solo solita polenta e carbonnade. Super il riso al lampone. Location non plus ultra personale giovane frizzante e gentile. 4 stelle

Bellissima baita in Valtournenche , personale gentile e professionale. Il cibo è ottimo e si godi di una buona vista dalla terrazza!

Convenient last stop on the last run down but not to be missed for lunch. Excellent, warming, filling venison goulash with polenta (with just the right amount of chilli). Nice staff.

Pranzo sulle piste in questa splendida terrazza soleggiata. Complessivamente esperienza positiva, cibo discreto ma il cameriere ha darai una risposta secca e perentoria alla richiesta di una pasta in bianco per una bimba di 5 anni al tavolo, dicendo che non si poteva uscire assolutamente da menu. Un po’ costoso.

Ottima posizione e bella struttura. Personale simpatico ma un po' lento e impacciato, soprattutto al bancone. Troppa attesa per smaltire una coda nemmeno troppo lunga. Al bar solo toast e piadina,se si vuol mangiare occorre sedersi al ristorante

Per la sosta a pranzo il mio preferito...buona cucina e bellissima balconata al sole. Oggi però sono ritornato come sempre e devo dire che il servizio è diventato pessimo, non si può aspettare 30 min per avere il conto!!!

Non posso dare oltre alle 2⭐️⭐️ Oggi durante il pranzo ho ordinato un piatto, premessa sul menu non sono presenti gli Allergeni che dovrebbe essere di legge! Dopo averlo assaggiato mi accorgo della presenza di Latte negli ingredienti, chiedo una conferma al cameriere e ovviamente era così… mi sono offerto di pagarlo senza problemi visto che l’ho assaggiato, ma mi sarei aspettato un trattamento differente visto l’inadempienza da parte del gestore. Per il resto il cibo è molto buono

Pessima delusione. Sabato 21 febbraio ci siamo fermati in 4 a pranzo poca gente al ristorante ci hanno fatto accomodare subito. La nostra lamentela non è per il cibo ma per i prezzi assurdi applicati, una ladrata: sovrapprezzo per l'aggiunta di un uovo su una polenta valdostana da 16€ a 20€ ( non comunicato)per un ovetto sopra! Acqua del rubinetto a 3€ dovrebbe essere gratis, coperto a 2.50€ per pranzare su una tovaglietta di carta e 4 fette di pane. Ho fatto osservare al cameriere che noi turisti sciatori ci fermiamo a pranzare per dare aiuto all'economia del luogo, con nostri sforzi economici. Quello che non capisce chi gestisce il ristorante è che applicando questi prezzi elevati è una presa in giro al cliente, che si sente defraudato. D'altronde lo capirà più avanti...io cliente continuerò con il mio al lavoro al contrario suo che chiuderà a breve, trattando così i clienti. Non ci metteremo più piede neanche per un caffè! Auguri!
