Ambiente molto accogliente, personale attento e cordiale, pietanze che stupiscono per qualità e realizzazione! Consiglio vivamente l’uovo, una vera chicca!! Tornerò senz’altro

Posto spettacolare. Presenza di tavoli esterni ed interni. Menu’ ricercato con proposte di carne e pesce. Raviolo MAGNIFICI e dolce altrettanto buono. Conto in linea con quanto mangiato. Se passata per Varenna dovete fermarvi!

Arrivati a Varenna per acquistare del missoltino dal Pescatore Cavalli, ci ha consigliato questo locale per provare alcune specialità di pesce di lago, che lui fornisce. Sulla qualità e freschezza del pesce non ci sono quindi dubbi. Essendo poi vicino alla pescheria lo possiamo raggiungere in un attimo. All'esterno, una vietta stretta che ricorda con le sue traverse ripide a scalini con scorci sul lago un po' i carrugi e i borghi liguri, subito la cameriera ci accoglie chiedendoci se vogliamo pranzare all'interno o all'esterno. Decidiamo per l'esterno essendo una giornata abbastanza calda. Subito ci porta i menù e la carta dei vini, siamo arrivati abbastanza presto ed eravamo i primi clienti. Il menù ben articolato con scelte che possono accontentare tutti i gusti, ma noi siamo qui per il pesce di lago.....e pesce di lago sia. Come antipasto un misto di pesce di lago con filetto di lavarello marinato con cipolla di tropea, alborelle in carpione, trota marinata leggermente affumicata, crostino con patè di lago, missoltino con polenta e un misto di carpioni di lago con lavarello, cavedano, agone, alborelle. L'antipasto ben bilanciato nei sapori, con note decise mai stonate. I carpioni ottimi. Non essendo dei mangioni dividiamo come primo uno spaghetto verde casereccio con missoltino pomodori secchi e olive e come secondo una grigliata mista di pesce......di lago, tanto per cambiare. La pasta buona, cottura perfetta e l'accostamento del missoltino con pomodori secchi e olive è speciale. La grigliata buona con salmerino, trota, lavarello, agone e persico. Ad accompagnare il tutto due bicchieri di falanghina, non un igt Terre Lariane perché avevano solo quello della concorrenza ;-)) Verso la fine del pranzo sono cadute 2 gocce e subito hanno coperto i tavoli, nel frattempo riempitisi, con 2 ombrelloni. Abbiamo saltato il dessert perché sazi. Ma abbiamo apprezzato le frolle con il caffè. Nel complesso un esperienza sicuramente molto positiva.

Il locale, caratteristico per le sue volte in pietra, risulta particolarmente accogliente e raffinato. Disponibile qualche tavolo all'aperto sul vicolo prospiciente. Accoglienza e servizio impeccabili. Il menù offre specialità lacustri, di mare e di carne oltre a una buona scelta di vini. I piatti, oltre ad essere presentati con gusto e sobrietà, sono un piacere per il palato. Spaghettoni al ragù di lago notevoli.

Non ho molto da dire, tutto eccellente. Siamo andati per la cena di capodanno e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Il prezzo essendo capodanno non era neanche poi così alto. Ci sono piaciuti particolarmente l’antipasto a base di polpo e a me personalmente il primo a base di spaghetti. Locale piacevole e moderno. Acqua buonissima. Servizio cortese e accogliente.

Ottimo ristorante, ha un piccolo dehor sul vicolo e degli interni con dettagli antichi molto raffinati. I piatti sono sempre ottimi, caratterizzati da accostamenti ricercati e riusciti. Personale gentile e disponibile. Lo consiglio sicuramente.

Una cena prelibata, i piatti sono dal gusto ottimo, si sente ogni ingrediente ricercato con cura, l'estetica è curata nei dettagli. Un complimento al personale gentile e preparato nel consigliarti abbinamento dei vini ad ogni pietanza. Spero di ritornare presto, al mio prossimo weekend fuori porta.

Posto molto accogliente, fresco e caratteristico. Servizio ottimo. Offrono una vasta scelta di piatti volta a valorizzare il pesce di lago riuscendoci perfettamente Da foto : Antipasto di lago, spaghrttoni al sapore di lago, rombo, tortino al cioccolato - tiramisù e degli ottimi bignè.

Posticino caratteristico nel centro storico di Varenna. Abbiamo mangiato solo pesce di lago, veramente delizioso.... E non è semplice deliziare con il pesce di lago. Servizio ottimo, personale gentile e disponibile. Felice di aver scoperto una perla di lago.

During the winter, many restaurants in this area seem to be closed, so I was glad to find this place open. I didn’t have very high expectations at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food tasted great, the ingredients were high quality, and you could really feel the care and effort put into each dish. I would definitely come back to eat here again.

Ate dinner here with my wife while staying in Varenna/Perledo. Everything we ordered was amazing. The homemade lasagna was excellent! Very nice atmosphere and it’s a little tucked away from the main/busier area. There are actually two different levels of dining and we were lucky that they were able to accommodate us. It was really hard not coming back to this place but we opted to try on subsequent days to explore different restaurants. For my wife, this was her favorite place. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

We had a lovely dinner at Osteria Quatro Pass. We ordered an appetizer to share as well as two main dishes and a tiramisu for dessert. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was also outstanding! We really enjoyed their pumpkin gnocchi and their tiramisu.

Delicious meal! A must go to for Varenna. Also fantastic service. Everything we had was amazing. Rabbit ragu was delicious with a unique flavor profile. Pumpkin gnocchi a unique a delicious dish, perfect for fall. Duck breast was cooked to perfection. Also we had the dark chocolate dessert which was the perfect ending. I recommend making a reservation. Came at 8pm and was lucky a table opened up!

Was craving for fish and seafood and so happy we found this place! A little on the pricier side but worth it. Food was fresh and yummy and the rabbit pasta was one of my husband’s favorite dish in our trip to Italy (so far)

I give this place 5 star for everything. The food was amazing. Octopus salad, lasagna, duck breast and of course to finish it with some tiramisu. The servers were friendly and provided great service. Price was very good as well. Highly recommend this place.

had this recommended by our airbnb host, menu looked amazing and delicious so we decided to stop by here for dinner. we ordered their ravoli and fried fish! fried fish tasted bland and dry :( we sprinkled a lot of salt on it… ravoli was delish! we were seated inside their other restaurant by the steps, the ambience was nice. but because we were seated downstairs there were barely any servers / didn’t have attention when we needed - aka paying bill.

Osteria Quatro Pass was a great find. Our Airbnb host recommended it, and it was the ideal place to stop after a relaxing walk around Lake Como. The restaurant has a really nice, cozy feel, and we felt comfortable as soon as we walked in. It was exactly what we needed for a quiet evening. The food was definitely the highlight. We tried their special Lasagna, and it was seriously amazing. It had a unique, smoky flavor that made it the best lasagna I've ever had. We also ordered the Sauteed Duck Breast. I was hesitant at first, but the staff assured us it was juicy and different, and they were right—it was excellent. The staff was super helpful and clearly knew their menu well. We also got the White Rabbit Tagliatelle. The pasta was cooked perfectly, but after the lasagna and the duck, it just didn't stand out as much for us. You absolutely cannot skip the Tiramisu, though. It was a perfect ending to our dinner and a great way to wrap up our trip to Como. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Lovely food and service. We went to the restaurant early when it opened and was able to get a table for 5 people immediately with no wait. The duck main dish was absolutely exceptional. The grilled octopus (Catalan style) and grilled vegetables (side dish) were also excellent. Our waitress spoke perfect English, was very friendly and professional. All Aperitif drinks were great too.

Superb food, wine and service. The BEST lasagne we have ever eaten! Absolutely incredible flavour. We also enjoyed the homemade beef ravioli, sides and tiramisu. Can’t believe this place isn’t rated more highly. Amazing experience and food was quick to come out. Decently priced for 2 mains, 2 sides, 2 desserts and 2 glasses of wine. Looks like there are different atmosphere seating options too.

It was not that cozy, our table was unstable and you could see it's not the primary space ... *make a reservation and thank me later 😉

Such a pretty restaurant! Very romantic, we managed to get seated at this popular place and the food was so delicious and well presented! Great staff too! The duck was so tender and delicious! Husband ordered the octopus rigatoni which was very different but very nice! Recommend! The assorted fish starter was a bonus - lovely variety of different flavours!

Really enjoyed the food here. One of the best restaurants we dined at in Italy. I’d recommend reserving a table and requesting a seat in the main restaurant area. We were fortunate to get a table on walk in but were seated in a separate room in a separate building. Whilst this could mean more personal service, in our case it meant the servers were a bit stretched. This annoyed my husband more than it did me. I found the staff very friendly and the food amazing! Would have dined there again if it hadn’t been fully booked.

In centro a Varenna, in una delle sue caratteristiche viuzze. Il locale è piccolo ma carino e molto curato. Abbiamo mangiato pesce e ne siamo usciti sazi e soddisfatti. Il cibo è servito in maniera impeccabile e la qualità dei prodotti è molto buona, soddisfacente anche la selezione dei vini. Il persone molto preparato e gentilissimo. Unica pecca, quando si è riepito, un pò di distrazione sulle richieste aggiuntive (secondo cestino di pane chiesto ma mai portato al tavolo). Prezzo in linea con la zona e con la qualità. Se siete da quelle parti fermatevi dopo aver percorso la romantica passeggiata degli innamorati, davvero suggestiva, ed esservi avventurarti nei viottoli del paese.

Finalmente un ristorante dove assaporare pesce di lago! Alta qualità, bell'impiattamento, servizio gentile e sorridente nonostante il sali e scendi per le scale nel servirci! Posto curato...una bella sosta, sicuramente tra le migliori di Varenna pur non godendo di una vista lago! Prezzi un po' alti

Scelto casualmente per un pranzo veloce durante una passeggiata a Varenna. Locale davvero ben curato, ampia scelta di vini, piatti freschi e squisiti, servizio perfetto nei tempi e nei modi. Pienamente soddisfatti. Bravi.

Gita fuori porta a Varenna e ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questo ristorantino tra i vicoletti di Varenna. Consigliatissime le pappardelle, un po’ meno l’antipasto misto del lago. Presentazione delle pietanze fantastica e prezzi modici. Ambiente carino e pulito. Personale gentile (non tutti però). Tutto sommato consiglio.

Tavolo prenotato all'interno di una piccola taverna rustica molto suggestiva. Abbiamo ordinato un primo un secondo, un contorno, 2 calici e 2 dolci. Tutto molto buono, l'unica pecca è stata sul mix di pesce di lago: buono ma nulla di speciale, porzioni piccole e un prezzo che per quello che era forse è un po troppo alto. Mi aspettavo un po di più tuttavia abbiamo passato un bel pranzo molto buono. (DOLCI BUONISSIMI!!!!!!!) Personale molto preparato e disponibile ✅✅✅ CONSIGLIATO!

Abbiamo cenato in questa struttura con una prenotazione del tavolo. Locale accogliente e camerieri gentili e disponibili. Il menù è principalmente di pesce con qualche piatto anche di terra. Noi abbiamo optato per antipasto e grigliata di pesce di lago, polpo , tagliata di ricciola. Per finire la miascia, un dolce. Tutto molto buono! Consigliato!

Il ristorante è accogliente ma troppo caro e le porzioni piccole rispetto al prezzo, in particolare i ravioli agli asparagi erano molto buoni ma davvero pochi. Le tagliatelle erano invece una porzione giusta , ed erano un piatto non tipico ma originale, che ci è piaciuto. Abbiamo mangiato solo il primo e bevuto acqua.

Non sono rimasto soddisfatto. Buono l'antipasto di lago e discreti i primi, ma porzioni davvero troppo piccole. Siamo stati fuori e certo non è colpa loro se il sole se ne è andato e stavamo congelando, però avevamo chiesto se avessero potuto spostarci dentro, la risposta è stata: "se si libera un tavolo". Il tavolo si è liberato e han fatto entrare altri clienti... Inoltre, con il gelo che c'era, potevano darci un minimo di priorità. Invece i primi sono arrivati con grande calma. Servizio lento. Sopravvalutato a mio parere.

Prezzi altissimi per quello che offrono. porzioni troppo piccole a quel prezzo. Ingredienti interessanti ma usati male e poco saporiti. Abbiamo chiesto il parmigiano per la pasta e ce lo serviva il cameriere in piccole dosi. Locale molto rustico, carino ma spazi stretti e poco illuminati. Noi eravamo al piano terra. Non ci tornerei di sicuro. Devono migliorare costi e sapori.

The menu changes quite abit from what showed on Google previously by others. The mixed fish is stale and tasteless. Ravioli on the other hand was average. Will not recommend this place.

Beautiful interior of old stone work. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the beef tartare that was a good portion but not a lot of flavor. My wife ordered the lasagna that was on the special…it tasted like it looked- dry. I ordered a special pasta with rabbit. The pasta was cooked to perfection but the rabbit and sauce lacked flavor to that of a traditional Italian rabbit dish that I grew up eating as child from the Island of Ischia. My girls split an order of ravioli filled with eggplant and they both finished their portion. The star of the night in appearance and flavor was the apricot cheese cake- the building and structure was beautiful but the food was a let down.

Average food—just tastes like cheesy gross and was unflavorful. Service is worse. Don’t waste your time or money here.
