We celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday at this venue, which has a beautiful room perfect for this type of ceremony. The evening began with a generous aperitif with a wide selection to suit everyone (children, teenagers, adults, and seniors). It continued with dinner, with beautifully presented dishes, excellent in both quality and quantity, making it difficult to pass up seconds. The kindness, friendliness, and helpfulness are the icing on the cake; a smile is always present, something that has become a rarity these days. P.S.: Among the guests was also a group of final-year students from a renowned hotel management school in Turin. Their comment at the end of the evening was superb... I won't say anything else!

Bar/restaurant with large internal room in the village of Venaus. You can eat either à la carte or by choosing one of the two fixed menus (from 20 and 25€, which include appetizers, first course, second course, dessert, water and coffee). Very friendly staff, well-spaced and spacious tables. Food presented in a very simple but careful way, quality and fresh raw materials. Recommended!

Excellent restaurant offering a selection of Piedmontese dishes. Everything is well-curated, the service is excellent, and the only drawback is that they only offer one menu, which you can choose as a tasting for €30 or as a choice, but always related to the menu offered. You can choose between four appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and dessert (excellent!!). Perhaps two menus would have been the best. Try it! 🙂

Stefano and the staff were very kind. I had to leave the restaurant because my daughter developed a sudden, severe migraine...just today, after I'd found a good restaurant. The daughter's appetizer was: Prosciutto and/or Speck, natural tomini, and bresaola with arugula and parmesan...perfect. Our appetizer: Always bresaola punta d'anca, Russian salad with tuna in the mayonnaise...rare and appreciated. The Piedmontese appetizer was pleasant. Agnolotti with braised beef reduction...with pieces of meat...finally unfiltered and not ground...a plus for the cuisine. Sparkling wine with low acidity, excellent palate...served at the right temperature. I'm sorry we got 2 tagliolini with mushrooms instead of agnolotti with braised beef sauce, but they immediately rectified it without any arguments... well done, the waiter must have thought we were daft... but my wife, even though she was born in the mountains, has never eaten mushrooms in the 32 years I've known her... and I wouldn't dream of ordering three different first courses for three when there's a fixed menu out of respect for the kitchen staff. Thanks also for the paracetamol for the little girl. I'm sorry I didn't enjoy lunch, but we'll see each other soon... a staff member immediately knows if the structure works... and this one does. 😉👍 . Best regards, Massimo

We stopped for lunch and only had two sandwiches, which I have to say were excellent. The sandwich was quite large and fresh, and the cured meats were also quite good, as was the distinctly local cheese. The place also complies with anti-COVID regulations. The staff seemed very friendly and quick. If you're on the go... recommended.

It was a pleasant Easter in Venaus at Candida's. The cuisine was authentic, though the main courses were a bit limited! Perhaps some unexpected guests joined us. I recommend a stroll along the main street. The tradition of swordsmen is worth exploring, having been passed down for generations. In the Susa Valley, there are many corners to explore and explore.

Had a Sunday lunch... what can I say? The quality and price were okay... but the quantities? I thought it was a fixed lunch menu, but instead it was a tasting. As for the service, what can I say? The waitress was annoyed by simple, routine questions; perhaps the young lady was nervous. Luckily, she got the young man back, and he was very kind. Will I go back? I don't know, I'll think about it.

Sono rimasto deluso. Ha l'aspetto di una trattoria a conduzione familiare. Ero sull'autostrada e sono uscito per raggiungerla, avendola trovata su google. Mi hanno proposto menù turistico, un antipasto primo e secondo a 17 euro. Eravamo in tre e abbiamo ordinato meno, chi gli antipasti chi i secondi...quindi non abbiamo consumato tutto. Alla fine abbiamo pagato ugualmente 17 euro a testa. Qualita delle pietanze: anemiche
