I liked this place. It was hard to find because it has a logo on the facade that says "la jaiba loca." We drove past it on our way downtown, and when I searched for it on Google Maps, I couldn't find it. It turns out it's called El Mesón de la Jaiba. The food is great, we had great service, and they give you a free shrimp consommé upon arrival. It's reasonably priced. They have parking, but not in the restaurant itself. You can park in front, but you have to pay a parking meter. I tried a green aguacjile, but it was too sour; it was like a soup. I didn't like it. Despite this, I recommend it. We tried other dishes, and they were all very good.

Nice place, air-conditioned, they offer you a welcome shot of shrimp broth, we tasted, mixed paella (Good) fish ceviche (Delicious and excellent presentation) carajillo as an aperitif (Licor 43 and espresso) chipotle shrimp (We didn't like them) good desserts, corn cake and Neapolitan flan, their American coffee was good.

A very good restaurant in Córdoba, seafood is the specialty, beautifully presented and seasoned with a very local flavor. The facilities are very comfortable and air-conditioned. In short, a place of great quality and prices in keeping with the location. For dessert, the creme brulet is delicious. Highly recommended.

Good place, service, and good food. Even though it was Sunday and busy, the service was quite fast. I ordered a pretty good paella, as well as shrimp chilpachole, dogfish tostadas, shrimp cocktail, and seafood soup. The soups could have used a little more epazote. I recommend it, but keep in mind that the average cost of a dish is between 200 and 300 pesos.

It used to be one of my favorite places, but the way one waiter, an older man, treated me makes me never want to go back. He was incredibly rude. We hadn't even finished eating and were about to order more drinks when he brought us the bill and told us to leave, asking why his manager was there.

It's unforgivable to be lied to and pulled a fast one. We ordered salmon carpaccio, and we got smoked trout. Furthermore, they didn't add capers or Parmesan cheese... Look at the photo, because the salmon appetizer, between the loin and the skin, doesn't have the characteristic brown color of trout. When I complained, the waiter brought me a slice of salmon, which was nothing like a trout. I REPROVAL of the lack of integrity of the restaurant's manager; the owner is undoubtedly the one in charge. The quality of the food is 3.0/5.0 for its value; the Galician octopus was somewhat undercooked, but its flavor was acceptable. I don't recommend the crab chicharrón; it's better at the Díaz restaurant. The portions are listed on the menu; they are meager, and the quality of the food doesn't match the price. If the quality were worth it, you'd be happy to pay for it; but that's not the case with this restaurant.
