I liked riva est. Always moderately busy. I don't like the way the leave a ticket on the table after you have ordered. What does it mean. The ticket might be lost ! Except for coffe is great, good environment despite clientele time to time could be cheap (shouting or scheming ) I ve been there a couple of time. Staff seemed cordial and cake looked delicious. Pop by for a nice coffe. Did not have the chance to eat something by the way.

Location well furnished in a particular way, friendly staff, very wide menu both savory and sweet, very good crepes. Ice cream cups large portions and average prices. Excellent gluten-free and Vegan options (rice cappuccino, soy) and also for lunch choice also for people intolerant to wheat. (Gallettes) gluten-free and vegan cones with vegan ice cream excellent for those like me who recently discovered that they are intolerant to gluten and also to milk.

More than 20 minutes for a cappuccino and a pancake seems excessive to me, especially since someone is in a hurry in the morning and has to go to work. P.S.: Based on the owner's response, I'll try coming again later, and I've slightly adjusted my rating... thanks.

Business lunch near the lake. We chose this location because it had many free tables and then we understood why. The location is nice, bright and divided into zones ... bars, ice cream parlors, creperias. The mise en place is simple and on the paper placemat we can see the menu by scanning the QR Code. We each asked for a dish to their taste. A vegan friend asked for the tropical dish but she got a dish containing shrimp along with vegetables and fruit. We pointed this out and they replaced it with another one with the right ingredients. I personally asked for a Tex-Mex dish. All the ingredients (basmati rice, tomatoes, avocado and chicken excluded) came out of the cans. For 12 € they could very well have offered better raw materials. Another friend asked for melon ice cream and coffee. She got a big cup with coffee and MELON ice cream on top! Pointed out to the staff we were told that we would not find it in the bill ... Unfortunately, it was in the bill and it was paid for. I am not used to giving negative reviews, so I will return to the RIVAEST LAB to be able to give a second opinion. A NO day can happen ... I returned to this location for my second opinion and I must say that it has definitely changed. This time we got a Caesar salad and u. dish of raw ham with mozzarella. Simple dishes but I have to admit they were better than the ones taken the first time. I'm changing my rating to 3 stars

First of all, Stuff wasn't nice, very unfriendly we waiting 20 minutes before somebody come to our table, without any sorry or anything, seems like they're bothered to take bill. Overpriced for the quality, I been in Milan to Massari bakery and my breakfast doesn't cost me that money, that I'm very welcome to pay for the quality , that can't find in this place.

I remembered the price being high, but that's understandable sometimes. My girlfriend and I ordered two crepes. One with Nutella and a scoop of hazelnut ice cream, and the other with custard. Well, two empty crepes arrived. Folded in four and decorated with a drizzle of Nutella only on top, nothing inside, not even a scoop of ice cream. We pointed out that the ice cream was completely missing and were told they'd forgotten to tell us it was out. So we asked for a little cream instead (well, the cream was added). What struck me most, however, was that one of the waitresses would start rolling out the crepe dough, but to garnish them (if you can call it that), an older woman, definitely the owner, would always come in and dust a drop of Nutella from a half-empty jar, only after folding the empty crepes several times. I didn't want to point out the full price despite the lack of ice cream or the additional charge for the cream because 1) I would have had to complain about the almost complete lack of any other toppings despite the exorbitant price; 2) it wouldn't have made sense to embarrass the young waitresses who were simply serving politely and obligingly, given that the supposed owner had already disappeared. In short: €17.30 for two empty crepes. For the same money, we could have eaten two delicious pizzas! Or, for €4 each, at any other bar, two at least decent crepes. We certainly won't be returning to Riva Est.

Management changes, but the results get worse!!! Starting with the prices, which are exaggerated: a tiny slice of tart, not even fresh, costs €6, so not only expensive but also poor quality! The ice cream is tasteless, the service is unprofessional. Aperitifs are sky-high, without even a snack, when other places with more honest prices and more welcoming atmosphere offer drinks with something to eat.

We knew they'd changed management, but we didn't think it would go this badly. Never again. We waited 30 minutes for two piadinas and a toasted sandwich, and when we left, they hadn't even started preparing them. The new management is terrible, I'd say disastrous. Furthermore, it was as cold inside as outside: they don't turn on the heating in almost December (on a day when snow was forecast). A real shame, because before this management, we used to go there often. No one apologized: they must be used to behaving this way, but guys, no one likes being treated this way.
