This is the quintessential local trattoria. The food is 100% local and traditional. Must try the Panissa. Don’t expect anything fancy but rest assured of a really great gastronomic experience. The wines are as amazing and cheap compared to what you would pay in NYC

A quiet, informal trattoria outside the center of Vercelli. Service was prompt, and the ladies who greeted and served us were friendly and courteous. The menu, featuring typical Piedmontese dishes, was varied and inviting. We left satisfied and happy with our choice of restaurant.

Sufficient for peppers, location and meat ravioli with roast sauce, which I personally didn't appreciate too much, however the panissa was good and plentiful and I appreciated the kind staff

Trattoria style in the town of Vercelli doesn't have to equate to sloppiness. The restaurant's decor didn't reflect the trattoria style one might expect from a trattoria. Service: chaotic, the pace broken, and unfriendly, not conducive to the tasting experience. Food: balanced portions, but lacking in flavor and taste; some dishes may have been pre-cooked. Coffee: bitter, too much so; it seems to come from a poorly maintained coffee machine. Suggestions for improvement: the person accompanying you to the table should bring the menu at the same time to avoid unnecessary waiting. Set out bread and breadsticks at the tables; customers will notice. The seating, at least these need to be renovated; it doesn't feel "trattoria." It should be wood, not black; the tables should be covered in checked paper tablecloths. Food: select. Reduce the variety, rather than focus on quality; prices now equate to first-rate choices; to justify the price, the quality must be acceptable. #LilloWieW
