Enoteca piccola, ma elegante, ben fornita di vini italiani e francesi soprattutto, ma ampia scelta di altri Paesi. Abbiamo scelto l'Amarone della Valpolicella. Cibo davvero ottimo, abbiamo provato 2 percorsi completi di carne e siamo rimasti colpiti dai sapori freschi e dagli abbinamenti originali, dall'antipasto al dessert. Tutto delizioso, complimenti ai 2 giovani chef. Personale gentile e competente, proprietario cordiale e disponibile nel concedarci spiegandoci le origini di questo piccolo ma grande locale (un'antico negozio di legna). Prezzi un po' alti, ma ben spesi davvero. A due passi dall'arena.

Il ristorante si trova in un vicolo dietro piazza Bra' in un antico palazzo, facile da raggiungere. Simone il titolare e stato molto gentile e disponibile, quindi servizio top. Piatti ricercati, ben fatti, ingredienti equilibrati. Menzione speciale per un antipasto, l'uovo CBT. Vedasi menu x ingredienti. Ma anche lo spaghettone con scampi crudi....buono.

Da come vieni accolto capisci subito che sará un'esperienza culinaria incredibile. Simone e i suoi ragazzi con la loro alta competenza ti accompagnano spiegandoti ogni pietanza. Carta dei vini ampia e di alta qualità. Cenato all'aperto in una fresca serata. Location tranquilla e suggestiva.

Sono stata in questo posticino delizioso sabato scorso con mio marito e abbiamo passato una serata bellissima. Atmosfera accogliente e intima, piatti interessanti e vini altrettanto degni di nota. Non posso dimenticare di menzionare la competenza ed estrema gentilezza del proprietario, preparato e disponibile che ha contribuito alla riuscita di una cena perfetta. Voglio assolutamente ritornarci!

Simone ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Ci ha consigliato il menù degustazione e scelto il vino da abbinare, ha anche fatto preparare un piatto apposta per i bimbi. l'occasione era una sorpresa per il complenno di mia moglie e devo dire è stata un'esperienza perfetta!!! Grazie mille e complimenti a tutti.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante per festeggiare il mio compleanno. Che dire… è stata una vera e propria esperienza culinaria! Abbiamo scelto due menù degustazione diversi (cosa insolita e super apprezzata), uno di pesce e uno di carne. Piatti scenografici, colorati ma soprattutto deliziosi! Abbiamo apprezzato la disponibilità, la cortesia e la simpatia del proprietario! Ci ha consigliato un ottimo vino per entrambi i nostri percorsi!

L’Evangelista per me è assolutamente un luogo da 5 stelle, location e cibo ottimi. La vera differenza però la fa il personale che è gentilissimo, preparato e simpatico. Grazie per l’accoglienza sorridente, per esservi preoccupati per i miei piatti “gluten free” e per averci regalato più di un sorriso. Un saluto a Simone e a tutto lo staff. Speriamo di tornare presto.. e in versione “meno detox”😂

Tucked into a quiet street just off Piazza Bra, L’Evangelista is a wonderful find. They offer a four course prix fixe vegan tasting menu or ala carte. The dishes were all delicious and beautifully plated. The restaurant was great about letting us know each time they brought an unexpected amuse from the kitchen that it was a vegan item. Quiet, friendly, upscale. A perfect place for a nice evening out.

A really beautiful experience for a 30th birthday. Simone was absolutely incredible, making sure all of our needs were met. He recommended a lovely bottle of wine that paired well with what we had to eat. There was also a sommelier there and all the staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was amazing, especially the pasta dishes and the pork belly. They also pulled out all the stops and brought out a sparkler for my wife's birthday, which was a lovely touch. I'd highly recommend it if you want good quality food with fantastic service.

Fine dining restaurant behind the Piazza bra in Verona. We had a dinner on the terrace. We tried spaghetti with gamberi tartar, beef with potato, for dessert tiramisu and brownie. All food was delicious, the headwaiter is really a professional. He managed his team very well. Just recommend.

One of my favorite restaurants from our travels to Italy! Been here twice and always recommend it to friends travelling to Verona. It’s a calm spot away from the heat, with sublime food and wine. Very friendly personnel + your dog gets special treatment too (a plate of meat for themselves!)

Great food as other reviewers have said. We went for dishes from the al la carte menu which were all a very high bistro/fine dining standard. Other diners were going for the tasting menu which also looked good. Service included an amuse bouche and petit fours. Here’s a tip - ask for your bill approx 30 minutes before you want to leave - the proprietor wouldn’t let us go without having a couple of Grappas and chat about the food lol.

This is truly a gem of a restaurant, food and service was excellent - Each dish was so well balanced and each bite was a fantastic explosion of flavours. Hands down, the best food and restaurant we've come across in our 10 days across Como, Florence and Verona. Our waiter, Giuseppe made our last night in Verona so special with his attentiveness as he took pains to explain each dish. It was also such a lovely surprise to get a special starter (on the house) as well as palate cleanser comprising a mango panna cotta before our actually apple pie dessert, all rounded off with a selection of complimentary cookies. The scampi spaghetti we also ordered is the best I've had anywhere!

This is one of the best places I have ever eaten in my life. I found it randomly in 2021, and since then I have recommended to everyone who visits Verona. The degustation menu is extraordinary, and the quality has remained the same through all these years. The staff is very attentive, careful and polite. The environment is peaceful, comfortable and very beautiful. Can't wait to come back.

Well, I heard this restaurant is 7th in Verona, so I checked it. I have arived 30 minutes before closing time, but they accepted me really well. I was seated inside. They quickly served me with still water and chèf's appertizer. It was truffle cream with bread and crunchy bruschette with tomato. Then I was served Coca-Cola and White wine. I ordered La Medalione, which was actually beef steak with potato puree, mushrooms and black truffle. Someone that was with me ordered octopus with pumpkin cream. I was served quite quickly and it was delicious. I recieved banana pannacota for thanking me for coming. Thank you Tripadvisor and everyone supporting me.

Wow, what a heavily experience! ☁️ We've got a pre-fix fish menu option and every single thing that was served was just awesome! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you are lucky you will get Simone Ferrigno as your waiter. The way he describes every dish that's being served makes it twice as tasty. 😋 We chose our wines poorly, but Simone saved the night by choosing the right "meditation wine" for us. They even modified the menu to accommodate our friend's dietary restrictions. Our compliments to the chef! ♥️🙇🏻‍♂️

Wow!!! The best food we have ever had. We both had the vegan tasting menu and each course was a total delight. The staff explained every dish and were both attentive bus also not rushing us making for the perfect meal to end our honeymoon in Verona. The wine menu is extensive with a good range in both price and palate and if you are unsure what is for you the staff are happy to advise.

This place was right off the beaten path and such a wonderful experience. The owner takes pride in everything, from cooking, to serving, and even the place settings. I even saw him training a new server on how to fold tablecloths and present dishes. He was so enthusiastic about his food and visited every table to explain the dishes they were eating. His passion comes through in the flavors. His unique preparation and spin off of traditional dishes was a real pleasant surprise. Everything we got was delicious, and the service was so welcoming.

Wow, excellent place! The restaurant should be reviewed for a Michelin star. The dishes were creative, delicious, and full of flavor. Esperienza francamente deludente, soprattutto se confrontata con l’ondata di recensioni entusiaste che rasentano l’inverosimile. Si va al ristorante per mangiare bene, non per finanziare una narrazione. Il cibo è risultato mediocre, senza identità né tecnica degna di nota. Piatti piatti, nel gusto e nell’esecuzione, che non giustificano in alcun modo le aspettative create online. Nota a parte per i costi accessori: acqua filtrata fatta pagare come se fosse un vino e coperti carissimi, che sembrano più un modo per gonfiare il conto che per offrire un servizio reale. Mi dispiace fare questa recensione ma è doverosa, personale presente e cortese ma se vogliamo parlare di cibo dico la mia ? Pessimo penso che sia la 1^ volta che mi accada una cosa del genere mi sono fidato delle recensioni, sono due i casi :o la gente non capisce più nulla di cibo o le recensioni sono comprate.per non parlare del prezzo una follia, se mangio bene non mi interessa spendere tanto ma 3 portate 150€ un furto capisco che siamo a Verona , parere mio personale lasciate perdere.
