The venue is welcoming and well-maintained, and the dishes we ordered were both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The staff were truly professional, friendly, and helpful. I really appreciated the option of pairing my dinner with a "reimagined" cocktail featuring Japanese ingredients; the whisky sour was nothing short of exceptional. The price was in line with the offerings. Overall, an excellent experience.

A great discovery, a beautiful place with very helpful staff. It stands out from other more "standard" à la carte sushi restaurants, which, while good, tend to offer more or less the same thing. Excellent quality ingredients and interesting options (I only had sushi). A good variety of dishes, with the option to choose from simpler options that showcase the individual product, as well as more sophisticated options, like nigiri combined with Italian cuisine. I particularly recommend all the shellfish dishes, such as the marinated crab and the softshell crab (I've eaten in Milan but have practically never seen it in Turin). Prices are in line; you can't expect to spend less for the quality. I should point out, however, that we paid €55 each excluding drinks and with a 20% discount thanks to The Fork, but with a reasonable meal, it could be as low as €35-€40.

Amazing is an understatement! The dishes are a sensory experience, with excellent ingredients combined with skill and expertise. The eye is delighted by the colors and sophisticated compositions, accompanied by impeccable service. Courtesy, attention, and absolute professionalism are the hallmarks of the owner and his staff, in a quiet setting furnished with care and good taste. A unique experience for a special treat. Highly recommended!

A great surprise! Absolutely every dish that we ordered was well prepared, beautifully presented and had great flavors. Shrimp tempura was light and crispy, and the shrimp was fresh and juicy. Gyoza di Fassone were so good we ordered them again. The staff recommended Sweet Chili Chicken and Shrimp were deliciously crispy spicy and sweet. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Will definitely come here again.

Real taste of the East in the middle of Turin. Having no high expectations we have visited this place and really enjoyed the food, time and approach of the owners. I personally was a bit lost in the menu and types of sushi/sashimi and others, but the food itself was really fresh and high quality. It worth its price, so if you love Japan and it’s cousin, this place deserves your attention. Thank you to owners for ruining this business with such great approach.

After reading the excellent reviews, I went to this restaurant for lunch with fairly high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience was completely average: nothing particularly special. It was in line with many other Japanese restaurants in the city.

La qualità del pesce davvero ottima così come la qualità di tutti i piatti che abbiamo assaggiato, particolari e davvero gustosi. All’inizio è andato tutto bene perché siamo stati tra i primi ad arrivare ma appena sono arrivate altre persone il servizio si è eccessivamente rallentato. Altra nota negativa: faceva molto freddo all’interno del locale, capisco le rigide temperature esterne ma l’invito è quello di risolvere la situazione 😊

I had dinner with my girlfriend on a Wednesday evening at Fugu, after noticing it several times while strolling along Via Bertola. The place is very cute and well-kept; it wasn't particularly crowded, and we were served quickly and attentively. We ordered salmon tartare, tuna sashimi, and a selection of rolls, as well as appetizers. What I wasn't particularly impressed with were the tartare and sashimi, both visually (the colors weren't very vibrant) and in taste; I found them below expectations for an a la carte sushi restaurant with a medium-high price tag. As for the rolls, they certainly had very varied flavors, but they weren't focused on showcasing the fish, rather the many ancillary ingredients. Given the notoriously established price of €50-60 (minimum) per person at any a la carte restaurant, I would expect a very high level of quality from the ingredients, which I found to be rather mediocre here. Hence the three stars for the food... I hope it was just a bad night.

We chose the €70 omakase menu, which was very meager and also lacked tuna. For the price, it's not worth it at all. It was cold inside, but the (alleged) owner and waitress were very kind. We would have expected slightly more detailed explanations of the dishes, but overall, the service was okay.

I had ordered Ramen - i was told that they had no meat but they can substitute with fish, I said okay. Once it was put in front of me my appetite already went away. There was no egg, no color, no scent, and worst of all....no flavor. The fish was fried and laid in the Ramen which was a disaster. Ive never tried something so plain. Very disappointed and did not order anything to replace it. The gentleman working was kind enough to apologize and take it off the bill. I was a bit suprised by this food considering the very positive reviews.

Terrible dinner experience! Our orders were taken quickly, but the wait was quite long (30–40 minutes), made even more unpleasant by the room's decidedly low temperature, despite it being the middle of winter. The ventilation system blew cold air directly onto us, making the temperature feel even lower. After reporting the problem, we were told that the air wasn't cold and that the room temperature was (in theory) 25°C, automatically controlled by the system. However, upon leaving, we checked a thermostat inside the room and found that the temperature was actually 20°C, while the air was still being directed directly at us. The sushi didn't meet our expectations, which was disappointing given the numerous positive reviews. We left, chilled, to warm up.
