Il Bar Luce, progettato dal regista Wes Anderson, è un vero e proprio omaggio alle atmosfere dei caffè milanesi degli anni '50 e '60. Situato all'interno della Fondazione Prada, questo bar è un must é un'esperienza unica e raffinata. Il cibo è ottimo e il personale è gentilissimo e poliglotta, pronto ad accogliere visitatori da tutto il mondo. La location è giustamente famosa e la qualità del cibo è all'altezza delle aspettative. La lista dei panini è generosa e include anche la porchetta, mentre i dolci sono ovviamente firmati Marchesi. I cocktail sono variegati e buoni, un vero piacere per il palato. Dai tavolini esterni, la vista sull'edificio rivestito di sfoglia d'oro è semplicemente suggestiva. È un'esperienza unica e indimenticabile, perfetta per dopo la visita alla Fondazione. Purtroppo, non è possibile prenotare e la fila può essere molto lunga. Ma se siete disposti ad aspettare, il Bar Luce è un'esperienza che vale la pena di vivere.

Location fantastica supportata da uno staff professionale. Abbiamo ordinato dei pasticcini e caffè. Sublimi. Vi consiglio la Sacher, Top. Menzione speciale a Salvatore e Antonio per l'accoglienza, ma tutto lo staff è all'altezza delle aspettative. Indirizzo da ricordare per un ottima colazione.
La domenica mattina all'apertura è un luogo magico, con un,'accoglienza davvero rara, in particolare, un frammento di gioia e bellezza partenope fra le nebbie meneghine nell'accogliente sorriso e stile del servizio del giovane Antonio ed un cappuccino perfetto del buon Nico. Un'opera d'arte incrociarli stamani. Grazie.

Esperienza unica al Bar Luce – 5 stelle! Sono stato al Bar Luce durante la mia visita e non posso fare a meno di esprimere quanto sia stata meravigliosa l’esperienza. L’atmosfera è Speziale iconica , raffinata e accogliente, in un posto che unisce la bellezza e l’arte del design con un’ospitalità calda e discreta. Il bar è un’opera di arte da vivere, e ogni dettaglio trasmette il gusto impeccabile di chi lo ha pensato. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Roberto, il capo sala, che con la sua professionalità e passione ha reso la mia visita ancora più speciale. La sua disponibilità e il suo sorriso sono il vero valore aggiunto di questo posto. È evidente che non si tratta solo di gestire un locale, ma di creare un’esperienza unica per ogni cliente. Il cocktail di frutti rossi era molto equilibrato, raffinatissimo e rinfrescante, adesso mi manca assaggiare il Sazerac, ritornerò… Consiglio vivamente il Bar Luce a chi cerca un angolo di raffinatezza a Milano. Carinissimo bar dallo stile retrò, accessibile indipendentemente dalla vista alle mostre di Fondazione. Visitato per un aperitivo in due. Spritz accompagnati da mandorle, patatine, biscottini salati e rustici mignon. Servizio rapido, gentile e attento. Una nota di merito a Davide e Danilo, due camerieri che sanno ben bilanciare professionalità e simpatia. Alla prossima!
Vengo qui praticamente ogni mattina, perché è il posto giusto per iniziare la giornata. Mi siedo, prendo il primo caffè e faccio il punto su quello che devo fare, con calma. L’ambiente è accogliente, curato e ti mette subito di buon umore, ma la vera differenza la fa il personale: gentilezza autentica, sorrisi e qualche battuta che rendono tutto più leggero. È uno di quei luoghi in cui non sei solo un cliente di passaggio, ma una persona. E iniziare la giornata così cambia davvero il mood.☺️
Per motivi personali, ho frequentato il bar quotidianamente per circa sei mesi. Il fascino dell'ambiente si abbina alla qualità del servizio e a una professionalità di primo livello del personale. In particolare Nicolò è sempre stato gentilissimo, ma anche Beatrice, così come tutti gli altri componenti della squadra guidata da Salvatore. È questo aspetto che rende unica e veramente "milanese", nel più bel senso dell'aggettivo, l'esperienza al Bar Luce.
Locale accogliente, curato e attento alla qualità. I panini sono preparati con grande cura, utilizzando materie prime di ottimo livello, abbinate in maniera diversa rispetto al solito. Lo staff è gentile, educato e professionale, capace di farti sentire subito a tuo agio. Ottimo anche il caffè, davvero sopra la media. Un posto in cui si torna volentieri, sia per una pausa veloce sia per un momento di relax dopo una mostra in Fondazione.
Esperienza molto positiva, i dolci che ho provato erano tutti molto buoni, soprattutto la torta con panna e fragole. La barista mi ha preparato un marocchino buonissimo, curato anche esteticamente, davvero bello da vedere. È un posto di qualità, professionale, con un personale che ti fa sentire a casa. Lo consiglio!
Ambiente caldo e ben tenuto, con grande attenzione alla qualità. I panini sono realizzati con precisione, usando ingredienti eccellenti e accostamenti originali, diversi dai soliti. Il personale è cordiale, disponibile e professionale, e riesce a mettere subito a proprio agio i clienti. Un luogo in cui si ritorna con piacere, ideale sia per uno spuntino rapido sia per rilassarsi dopo una visita alla Fondazione.
Un aperitivo curato nei minimi dettagli e un servizio impeccabile! Davide, Emanuele, Roberto, Sara e Cristina sono stati fantastici e mi hanno fatto sentire come a casa. This bar is an experience. Not only the design and atmosphere are amazing, but the service is unique and so, so special. I was here for my birthday today, and Antonio, Roberto, Emanuele and Nico surprised me with a candle on my beautiful pink strawberry cake. Definitely worth a visit! The coffee is specially delicious and all the sweets are to die for. Thanks to all the wonderful people here for making this such a nice place!
Amazing bar, amazing food, and amazing service. Bar is designed by Wes Anderson, very cool vibe inside. The food is sooo good, the prosciutto sandwiches were the best i've ever had (NEED to get the "Il figo di Milano"). Our server, Davide, was also great and gave us really good recommendations. The chef even gave us a tartine on the house to try! Service was really good. Would recommend to everyone coming to Milan!
If you are a Wes Anderson fan, this is a fun spot (he designed it). If you're not, it's still a comfortable place to stop for a snack or lunch. Service was great, sandwiches were good. Will go back next time i'm in town.
Our group of 5 had a wonderful time at Bar Luce this September. The Wes Andersen themed Cafe was a visual treat. The sandwiches were great and the Peach Bellini cocktail recommended strongly, was yummy... Especially great was David's attention to us, his references to well known movie quotes, and the total formica atmosphere.. An excellent way to start or finish a visit to Prada Fondazione gallery.
Had the best time at Bar Luce, service is amazing, the team is really warm and welcoming! Had a delicious dirty martini and I have been gifted many appetizers (chips, olives, mini pizzas, salted almonds): the realest italian aperitivo! Thank you!! The place is exquisite, so clean and chic!
We picked this place for my daughters birthday brunch and everything was amazing! Sandwiches were all perfect, they make fresh bellinis and rossinis with fresh fruit which were delicious! Our server David was attentative and fun and made sure we even got a dessert with a candle! We will definitely be back!
I absolutely loved it here. It is a must of you are a writer. I would also recommend if you are a fan of film. The cafe has a very inspiring atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. The strawberry cake I had was so soft and creamy and melted in your mouth. The cappuccinos were small in size but very delicious. Mega thumbs up!
Wes Andersen inspired. Trully. Everything you expect from a Milanese Bar. Mind you that Milan's bars are among the best. Mainly, due to their staff, and here you have it. (I haven't eaten here, so I cannot say). While the fondazione Prada might not be worth the journey out here, the Bar Luce certainly is!
We came here by accident and it ended up being one of our favorite places from our trip to Milan. The decor was so inviting and fun, and the staff played into that as well. Our server, David was exceptionally kind and witty. We had many Peach Bellinis, which were hand pressed to-order, and could have stayed there all day drinking more. A must-visit if you are in the area!
Bar Luce is everything I hoped it would be — a charming, cinematic escape with beautiful interiors and a warm, nostalgic vibe. The coffee and pastries were lovely, but what made the experience truly memorable was the impeccable service. A special shoutout to Davide, who was friendly, attentive, and incredibly polite. Located inside the Fondazione Prada, this bar immediately captivates with its unique design, inspired by the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. The coffee and pastries are of standard quality, but the atmosphere and setting make it worth a visit. In short: it’s more about experiencing an iconic space than the food itself. Situato all’interno della Fondazione Prada, questo bar affascina subito per il design unico, ispirato alla storica Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. La qualità di caffè e dolci è nella media, ma l’atmosfera e l’ambientazione rendono comunque la visita interessante. In sintesi: più che per l’offerta gastronomica, vale la pena andarci per vivere un luogo iconico.
Panini eccezionali! Complimenti a Roberto per i suoi panini davvero straordinari: ingredienti di qualità, abbinamenti perfetti e gusto impeccabile. Si sente la passione in ogni morso. Had higher expectations. Pastries and paninis were delicious. The girls at the counter were sweet but the waiters could really do with more smiling.
really cool cafe, but you wont really get the wes anderson vibe unless you recolour your image quite a lot! we went on a sunday, around noon, and there were soooo many people! tho the tables go quite quickly, but very crowded
Bar Luce, designed by film director Wes Anderson, feels like stepping onto a 1950s Milan movie set—complete with terrazzo floors, pastel chairs, and even vintage pinball machines. I went right after it opened, so it was packed. Wish I had gone when it was quieter—I would’ve loved to soak in the retro vibes a bit more.
5 stars for Wes Anderson vibes, service was so so only (nothing to shout about, but at least they were not rude, which is rare in Italy). Really just came for the Wes Anderson vibes. It was cute but not sure if it quite captures the Wes Anderson style outside of some of the pastel color schemes. If you come around lunch time, several pastries will be sold out :( The coffee was okay. The maritozzo was good but not comparable to the bests in Milan. The pistachio knot was terrible, would recommend against it - the pastry was dry and the filling was way too sweet and felt artificial.
It’s nice enough, however it’s in the middle of nowhere. It’s part of the Prada Foundation. If you’re going on your own I’d suggest you go earlier in the day as there are only building sites around it and no footfall. The toilets are high design which I found a bit too space aged for me!
The place is beautiful, visually pleasing and the food was pretty good too. The only thing I was not a fan of was the prices on the menu did not match the actual price you are charged. A latte said it was $2.50, it was actually $4. A sandwich said it was $8, it was actually $11. A croissant said $3 but was $5.50. Our bill was $44 and should have cost more like $28. So that was a bit annoying, otherwise it was a very neat experience. Maybe just get a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere.

Arriviamo al bar io e la mia compagna per prendere un tè ed una fetta di torta. Paghiamo, prendiamo il tutto ma purtroppo tutti i tavoli erano occupati fatta eccezione per uno dove notiamo la targa "riservato". Dopo neanche 2 minuti un altro tavolo si libera e ci avviciniamo ma veniamo bloccati con: "Il tavolo è riservato e c'è servizio al tavolo." Inutile dire che il servizio al tavolo con la conseguente aggiunta non sarebbe stato un problema. Comunque ci spostiamo allora alle poltrone in centro sala ed iniziamo a consumare. Passano pochi minuti e si avvicinano 2 donne ed una coppia che fanno per avvicinarsi agli ormai due tavoli vuoti ma "riservati" e con un "prego, sedetevi pure se riuscite a consumare entro i venti minuti" si siedono e vengono serviti. Dispiace ma questa distinzione è stata davvero inaccettabile. P.S: sono tornato dopo 30 minuti ed ora quei tavoli sono liberi sempre con la scritta "riservati". Vorrà dire che semmai tornerò prenoterò il tavolo per poi presentarmi pure con molta calma. La torta era ottima ma mi è andata di traverso

Locale fighetto in stile retrò anni 50 voluto dal regista Anderson, a fianco del museo Prada. Questo per farti pagare un caffè 3.50 euro e una brioche vuota 4.50 euro. Servizio anonimo e cameriere poco sorridenti. Abbiamo chiesto un bicchiere d’acqua al tavolo. Ci è stato risposto che ci poteva portare la bottiglia altrimenti si doveva chiedere al bar.
