Un bel cortiletto dove respirare serenità e assaggiare buoni piatti. Il cuoco abbina molto bene pesce e molluschi con i frutti e i sapori sono veramente incredibili. Buona la carta dei vini. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. Se siete a Limone merita una visita senza dubbio

Luogo perfetto per una cenetta a Limone sul Garda: bell'ambiente, curato e intimo, e piatti raffinati. Spiccano su tutti il Cohiba con i gamberi rossi di Mazara e i ravioli di cernia con sugo piccante di cozze e gamberoni. Consigliatissimo!

Siamo stati in questo ristorante a pranzo ed è stata una bellissima esperienza. Il locale si presenta in maniera perfetta curato nei minimi dettagli. Il personale gentilissimo e la proprietaria molto competente e cortese nel presentare i piatti. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale. Io ho preso dei piatti di mare come l'antipasto misto dello chef e uno spaghetto al nero di seppia con le vongole e ne so o rimasto estasiato. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante che è nascosto dalla zona turistica ma sempre in pieno centro di Limone sul Garda.

Siamo stati qui per ferragosto e siamo stati piacevolmente sorpresi! Ottimi piatti, ricercati ma gustosi. personale gentilissimo e il locale molto carino e accogliente!! Inoltre abbiamo avuto il piacere di ascoltare una dedica musicale di una jazz band! Direi tutto ottimo!!

Cucina molto creativa. Lo chef propone piatti tradizionali rivisitati con un bel tocco di originalità. Gli spaghetti alle vongole, con pasta al nero di seppia, melograno e burrata sono emozionanti.

This was by far the nicest restaurant we ate at whilst in Limone. We came across it just by chance and lucky for us they had a table. The lady of the house was super friendly and very accommodating. The food was outstanding and I loved the ambience. Highly recommended.

A very charming little gem in the middle of Limone. We went there around noon for a reservation the same night, which was no problem (of course I don't know if we were just lucky). During the whole evening everyone working there was lovely and forthcoming, we received recommendations and information about our orders, the food was great and far from ordinary. We highly recommend Al Veccio Fontec and will definitely come back during our next visit. A big thank you to the team again :)

A wonderful family run restaurant in the heart of Limone. We started with a great local bottle of wine, recommended by our waitress who was also the owner of the restaurant. We enjoyed the Fritto Misto, the cheese stuffed into filo dough, and the mussels in a flavorful tomato sauce. We ended the meal with a delicious chocolate mousse and lemon mousse. The staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was very wonderful as well! For 1 antipasti, 2 secondi, 1 bottle of wine, and 2 desserts we spent €100

An absolute must visit every time I visit Limone sul Garda is Al Veccio Fontec. This visit was with my family and it did not disappoint in any way. The staff is friendly, personable and attentive. The eggplant parmigiana might be the best I've ever had in Italy. This time we also enjoyed ravioli with sage butter and lamb chops. Their wine list is extensive so take your time to look it over and the ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant is enchanting for an authentic experience along the lake. Locals eat here too and the friendly and warm atmosphere is inviting. It is best to make reservations if possible and remember while dining in Italy, food is not fast, it is delicious, cooked with love and made with local ingredients. Enjoy an apertivo and enjoy!

A beautiful meal in a beautiful setting. The staff spoke English, German, and of course Italian, how perfect! They were aware of allergens and dining with coeliac requirements was both easy and delicious, not restricting at all. Come here if you need gluten free food! The food itself was beautiful, a bit more of an involved menu than neighbouring restaurants in the village. Salads containing much more than tomato and rocket and traditional dishes elevated. I personally had the carpaccio and mushroom tagliatelle, beautiful and simple. High quality ingredients served at their best. The local sparkling wine is worth a special mention, a fitting accompaniment to their menu.

Such a cozy restaurant. The ambiance is so nice and the servers very welcoming and serviceminded. We got it recommended to us and it did not disappoint. We had the mozzarella in tomato sauce with fried pasta noodles "Kataifi" as a starter to share. Then we had the bigoli cacio e pepe and the funghi pasta. It all tasted great and we enjoyed our first restaurang in Limone a ton!

Marvelous little place with a charmingly kind landlady and heavenly food. Loved it so much that I would give 7 stars if possible. Worth to visit a million times more than a fancy looking place with a big terrace at the shore of the lake. Home made tagliette with home made tomato sauce - art of simplicity, still hard to compete with. Tagliette with mushrooms was also very delicious. Not yet to mention squid tint colored ravioli with salmon. Lemon mousse is a must have delight. The whole place is full of athenticity and love. Already waiting to return one day.

We fell in love with this restaurant, the food and the ambience was exquisite. The prawn starter (with grapefruit and olives) in particular was outstanding. The two tomato based pasta dishes we ordered were so simple, yet delicious and made with real love, as well as attention to detail and flavour. The manager was so lovely and all the staff made us feel very homely in their lovely restaurant. If you are lucky enough to be in Limone sul garda make sure you come here, we will be back for sure!

Wonderful food & service (particularly the blonde haired lady). Lovely setting, decor & tableware. The goats cheese walnut salad and the tuna steak were a absolutely delicious. It’s a small restaurant so don’t expect a table unless you reserve in peak season!

I arrived on a busy lunchtime session. Not a issue although was told to expect a wait. All the outside area seating was taken so was shown inside. Although very warm outside the inside area was nice a cool, which suited me as I was burning up. The staff were very pleasant and seemed super efficient. The food arrived quicker than I expected so I tucked in, probably one of the nicest pasta dishes I have had for a while, simple ingredients cooked well. I always look for the restaurants not on the main tourist track as you seem to get a much higher standard of food and service and Limone is no different. I am looking forward to going back soon. Thanks to the staff for a great effort 👏👏👏👏

We got to Limone and wanted to avoid the typical tourist trap restaurants. Do I searched google for recommendations on where to go. This very cute off the beaten path restaurant appeared with 4.5 stars and we decided to give it a try. I am so glad we found it. The food was fantastic. Some of our party had an appetizer and a main and others simply at the appetizer as a main. I personally had a pasta that was black from squid ink, with clams. It was amazing. It is completely possible to eat an appetizer as a main course. If you are in Limone lunch or dinner you WANT to eat here. It is also important to note that it is very fairly priced. It is only a short walk off the main areas, maybe 250 meters.

Cute cozy restaurant with a small & delicious menu. We have a very pleasant lunch here, all dishes were mouthwatering and the service was great (very friendly & fast considering they were -2 people). Only comment to watch out are the dishes off the menu (like the fish of the day) because it can be more expensive that expected (we paid 28€ for the lake fish). It was totally worthy & delicious but the price surprised us somehow. Also they have some issues with the connection & we could not pay with Credit Card (so just in case, better to bring cash ). Recommended to book in advance, specially if you are planing to go on peak time.

There are only a few tables in a cozy and intimate patio. The food is delicious and very fresh. The dessert was not from this earth!

The only resturant we have visited twice was this one. The atmosphere is charming with a beautiful atmosphere. I am a fish lover but personally recommend the fillet steak. Wow!

Abbiamo cenato in questo incantevole posto, con una padrona molto accogliente. Il cibo è buono, soprattutto per quanto riguarda proprio i dettagli del piatto; forse unica pecca i prezzi sono leggermente più alti rispetto alla media, ma nonostante ciò lo consiglio. Ci hanno anche gentilmente offerto i digestivi, in particolare il limoncino casalingo

Il locale è nel centro storico di Limone sul Garda e ci si arriva solo a piedi. Accogliente e ospitale, seguono tutte le attenzioni anti covid. Abbiamo mangiato nel giardino che è una piccola corte. Titolare e personale gentili e preparati nel descrivere le pietanze sia di carne che di pesce. Ci siamo fatti consigliare e abbiamo scelto due antipasti; uno di seppie al vapore, su strati di pesche, pomodorini e verdurine e olio EVO del Garda. L'altro composto da gamberi di mare al vapore, su uno strato di finocchi e acini d'uva. Piatto forte un saporito Coregone alla griglia fatto con maestria.Tutto accompagnato dal Lugana Ca' dei Frati. Ci torneremo.

Staff preparato, servizio veloce. Ambiente molto carino e accogliente. Consigliata la prenotazione! Purtroppo ho notato tardi che si trattava di Slow Food, quindi c'è stata una leggera delusione appena ho visto le porzioni. Se siete affamati non fa decisamente al caso vostro. Se invece ci tenete ad elevare un po' il vostro palato con sapori non convenzionali, vale la pena provare. Un po' deluso anche con il carpaccio di spada: la presentazione era molto scarna, non era nulla di più di un salmone affumicato un po' più asciutto e "scolorito". I ravioli al nero di seppia invece molto meglio, anche se appunto ho dovuto saziare la fame con pane e olio alla fine. 54€ per 2 primi, un antipasto, un'acqua e una birra piccola. Tutto sommato ok, ma non fa al caso mio.

Bella scoperta a Limone! Locale non turistico, con pochi tavoli che hanno resto l’atmosfera molto intima, curata e tranquilla. Personale gentile e attento. Cibo ottimo, dai sapori ricercati e non convenzionali. Piccola pecca: quantità poco abbondanti.

Location molto bella, qualità prezzo a mio parere troppo alti, camerieri cordiali anche se un po' lenti nel servizio.

Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience. On the positive side, the service was friendly and the location and atmosphere lovely. On the downside, we did not enjoy the food. We ordered the Insalsta Trentina, Insalata Sapori d'Oriente, and Frito Misto. On the menu, the Trentina ingredients were lettuce, apple, pine nuts, and bacon. It arrived with walnuts instead of pine nuts and swimming in an oily dressing. The Sapori ingredients on the menu were mixed salad, seared tuna, avocado, green soy beans, and seaweed. It arrived minus the beans and seaweed, with the addition of radish and pomegranate seeds, and half the avocado was brown. If a dish cannot be served as described on the menu, we would expect to be advised. Especially when adding tree nuts to a dish without checking with the guest for any allergy. With the Frito Misto, we were disappointed that it was only calamari and prawns. For 24 EUR, our expectation was to find fish and shellfish included as well.

Ambientazione caratteristica e peculiare: il cortile coperto ospita circa 20 coperti, anche se eliminerei il tavolo all’ingresso che è troppo a ridosso del portone, soprattutto d’inverno quando rischia di entrare freddo ad ogni cliente che deve entrare e uscire. La signora all’accoglienza è paziente, sorridente e cortese. Lo chef invece, che è presente a volte anche in sala, è rude, egoico, lascia una cattiva energia nella stanza. I prezzi sono eccessivi per la qualità dei piatti, poca innovazione e sulla tradizione non ci sentiamo di raccomandare questo ristorante: il tipico “spiedo” che pubblicizzano fuori (senza prezzo), ci è stato servito dopo un’ora e passa dal momento dell’ordine, ed era composto da una mezza porzione di polenta insipida, dura, 3 pezzettini di carne (tiepida, non calda) su un letto di 2 fette di patata. Il piatto è proposto a 28€. Da ospiti non ci siamo sentiti accolti ne graditi. Inoltre nessuno ci ha mai risposto al telefono nelle settimane passate quando abbiamo cercato di prenotare per Pasqua, e neppure alla mail inviata.

Due stelle. ci siamo recati in questo posto affidandoci alle recensioni buone. Il piatto preferito di mia moglie cacio e pepe, che ordina ogni volta che ci rechiamo nei ristoranti. purtroppo Mai mangiato un cacio pepe tanto salato nella sua vita. Confermo dopo aver assaggiato pure io era immangiabile. Ma secondo la cameriera e tutto normale e buono. Fritto misto povero e mocio. venite a mangiare un cacio pepe a Roma. non ci tornerei.

Evitatelo se siete italiani, tanto non sareste graditi. Nostro malgrado ci rechiamo in questo locale e due ragazzi stranieri arrivati prima di noi chiedono un tavolo e trovano subito una sistemazione. Arrivato il nostro turno chiediamo un tavolo per due e purtroppo tutti i tavoli erano riservati. Mentre cercavamo un nuovo locale arrivano altre due coppie straniere che chiaramente non avevano prenotato dato che hanno indigiato sul guardare il menù ed hanno, appunto, chiesto un tavolo e per loro magicamente sono apparsi ben due tavoli.

Ristorante situato in centro storico di limone abbiamo pranzato recentemente prenotando un tavolo da 4 persona, una signora Ben distinta dal modo placcato e gentile sembra di essere la titolare.Abbiamo ordinato una pasta al nero di seppia e un altra al cacio e pepe per finire delle capesante con una misera frittura di pesce, attendiamo che arrivassero i piatti per servirci, iniziando a mangiare nel piatto c'era traccia di un pelo dal quale cercando subito spiegazioni ci viene detto che involontariamente gli era caduto dentro il piatto allo chef durante il servizio non tenendo in considerazione del mancato capello in cucina, l'orrenda esperienza accaduta e stata alla luce del sole in una giornata di relax all'aperto, si avvicina al tavolo un uomo alto con barba e capelli bianchi indicando fossi il proprietario del ristorante, per porre le sue scuse, con un tono molto acceso e sgradevole, davanti a tutti aggrediti e maltrattati da un comportamento squallido così viscido riferendo di andarcene via, senza un minimo di criterio, ci siamo alzati oltre alla nostra umile rispettosa educazione mostrata pagando il conto senza aver ricevuto un servizio ottimale con il cibo ordinato, vi sconsiglio pienamente questo posto d' evitare non attenetevi all'aspetto del locale e solo un arma a doppio taglio per intrattenere le persone a sedersi.. chiudo con il dire che i prezzi che trovate sul menù fuori all'entrata sono costi pregiati di altissimo livello, di fidatevi in fretta affinché potete, da persone incompetenti e improvvisati dalla quale non siano del mestiere. consiglio che posso darvi cambiate umilmente professione, non siete una figura di eccellenza per la ristorazione.. saluti

Not recommended. We had high hopes for this place and their food because of the ratings it has. But we left the restaurant immensely disapointed because of two factors. 1. The two different pasta dishes we had were bland with close to no flavor, depth or autencity. We are not harsh food critics, but the food were on such a low level which did not match the relatively high price point at all. 2. When we in a politely and cautious manner told about our experience with the food, we were met with an arrogant attitude and basically told that the dishes were as they were supposed to. Based on our visit, this is not the place to go, if you are looking for authentic Italien food and friendly service.
