Bellissima scoperta, tra i tanti ristoranti provati a Courmayer " La terrazza" con il suo staff, lo Chef, ed il sig. Ciro meritano veramente un plauso per la qualità del cibo e l'attenzione che riservano alla clientela anche in un periodo overbooking per una località altamente turistica, grazie mille per le serate magnifiche che ci avete regalato. Siamo ritornati dopo 4 anni e questo ristorante è sempre una certezza di Courmayeur, servizio professionale, veloce, attento e cortese, il titolare se non erro Calabrese sempre super simpatico esattamente come gli altri soci se non erro, cibo eccellente quindi di sicuro lo consiglio e ci torneremo ogni volta che verremo a Courmayeur.

In assoluto il mio posto preferito in cui venire a mangiare a Courmayeur! Veniamo ogni anno a Courmayeur per motivi lavorativi e sappiamo che “caschiamo bene” se veniamo a mangiare alla Terrazza. La cosa bella sapete qual’è? È che ogni volta ci troviamo ancora meglio della volta precedente! Non solo per il cibo, (ho mangiato una Picanha SPA-ZIA-LE!!), ma anche per l’accoglienza e l’ospitalità. Il proprietario ci fa sentire coccolatissimi! Dare 6 stelle su 5 se potessi :p GRAZIE 🤍

Una cena davvero indimenticabile nel cuore di Courmayeur. Il locale è accogliente e curato nei minimi dettagli, perfetto per immergersi nell'atmosfera di montagna. Materie prime di qualità e sapori autentici. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e veloce, facendoci sentire subito a casa. Ottima anche la carta dei vini. Tappa obbligatoria se passate da queste parti!

Abbiamo pranzato presso questo ristorante il lo scorso weekend. Posto ben curato internamente e personale molto gentile. Abbiamo mangiato una raclette con il formaggio omonimo di capra: sapore molto buono, servito con patate lesse, giardiniera e un piatto di mocetta. Avrei aggiunto solamente delle verdure grigliate. Prezzi in linea con quelli degli altri ristoranti di livello simile di Courmayeur.

Ristorante top! Eravamo in cinque, abbiamo fatto assaggi di primo strepitosi, poi abbiamo mangiato un’ottima tagliata accompagnata da un graziosissimo Pinot Noir valdostano. Per non parlare poi della bontà dei dolci. Servizio eccellente e molto simpatico per la presenza goliardica del titolare, baffo in vista e sorriso smagliante.

Esperienza stupenda! Sono stata in questo bellissimo ristorante ed è stata davvero una bella sorpresa! Cibo di prima qualità, piatti saporiti e ricercati, per non parlare del personale! Professionale e super familiare allo stesso tempo! Ho un cagnolino e ci hanno portato una ciotola con della carne anche per lei! Menzione speciale per la polenta grassa e la bourguignonne. Assolutamente da rifare!

We had the best meal of our trip here. We shared the alpine herb salad, the beef ragù pasta, the roasted chicken, the cheesecake, and the strudel — every single dish was extraordinary. The local beer was excellent as well. Highly recommended!

Nice family run Italian Resturant. Recommended by our hotel the meal for our family of 6 was excellent. They have both local and general Italian specialties. Local beef and veal was especially good.

Stopped here on a road trip after an arduous wait at the Mont Blanc tunnel and was concerned that we would be too late for lunch. However we were welcome with open arms! The older gentleman who I can only assume was the owner was very friendly even greeting our screaming baby with smiles and laughter. With baby finally settled, ambience in the restaurant was relaxed and chilled, a great spot for a quiet date? Finally not to be topped by the service and ambience alone the food was fantastic, we ordered the octopus pasta, bolognese, pork ribs and burrata. The octopus was the star in a faultless line up; a generous amount of octopus within a beef mince bolognese like sauce and pasta cooked perfectly. A happy surprise break from our travels will come again when I’m in the area. Practical yet useful side point, the baby changing facilities are clean and spacious. Thanks for a great experience !

Food was spectacular and service was friendly and efficient. You must make a reservation as the restaurant is usually full. We especially enjoyed the octopus spaghetti, tomahawk steak, and ohhh myyy all the seats! Their "biramisu" - tiramisu made with beer, is super unique, fabulous twist to the classic Italian desert, with a gorgeous moreish cream. The blueberry tart is crisp, chewy, crumbly all at once. We also packed a raspberry tart to go. I wish we had more dishes!

The atmosphere was super quaint, authentic Italian countryside. The servers were great and attentive. We asked for butter with our bread and it was so delightful, fresh and cold. I recommend doing that! The food we ordered was great (didn't like the entrée ravioli too much), but I enjoyed the charcuterie appetizer and wine.

The restaurant was very accommodating. We entered the restaurant with a warm welcome from a friendly Italian Uomo with mustache. The waitress took our order with some dishes based on Google review. I had my luck here last January in 2022, and I had The MOST DELICIOUS PIZZA I’ve ever had in the world. And j decided to come back this year, yet when I’m back the same January 2023, I found that they don’t sell pizza anymore. Sad😩 Yet either way, the other foods are all very delicious and unique, the price for Courmayeur this city is very acceptable, highly recommended

Amazing!! Service was great, spoke English, Italian and French! We were greeted with a kind smile from a great lively man! Even though they didn’t have much room, they made room for us! So generous and it was well worth it! Food was heavenly 😇 Highly recommend the sliced beef with salad and Parmesan, and the ravioli! Popped over the border to ski in Courmayeur. Found this outdoor eating area. Salad with goats cheese and pine nuts. Pasta with some local sausage. Couple of glasses of local wine. All very flavoursome as to be expected with Italian food. Great service and bants with the waiter. Accessibility outdoor is obviously great, might be tight entering with a wheelchair.

Decent food in a cozy setting. Dishes are a hit or miss, price is quite high for what you get. Recommended: meat dishes like lamb chop or fillet mignon, tomato oregano salad, porcini mushroom pasta. Not recommended: cabbage salad with anchovies, fondue, fondant chocolate cake. Service is a bit slow but it seems it was especially crowded today due to UMTB event.

We were here on New Year’s Eve. Nice atmosphere and pleasant setting, but unfortunately the food was only average. Prices are reasonable. In Courmayeur it is certainly one of the better options — though that says more about the overall level of dining in town than about La Terrazza itself. Most restaurants serve more or less the same dishes (polenta, risotto, etc.), and none really stand out. Courmayeur could genuinely benefit from some fresh ideas on its restaurant scene.

Food was not up to par for the price point. The homemade tagliatelle was overcooked, which ruined the texture. A very basic Italian no-no. Polenta with veal stew was okay, taste and texture quite flat and uninteresting. I'm not one for polenta so maybe something else would have been nicer. The tiramisu was sad too. It's big and there's generous cocoa powder, and the mascarpone is light and quite delicious. But theres barely any coffee or rum in the ladyfinger solution, so a mouthful is just chocolatey, creamy and sweet, but without the bitterness of the coffee or the kick of the rum. So a lot of missed potential in the dish. Come here for the vibes but if you expect great food, don't.

C'era un capello nel mio cibo e mi hanno costretto a mangiarlo, dicendomi che avrei dovuto comprarne un altro perché volevano rivendere il cibo con i capelli. Certo, ho dato un morso prima di vederlo, ma vogliono comunque rivendere il cibo con i capelli, il che non va bene. Quindi il servizio è stato pessimo. Il cibo era discreto. Io ho preso i ravioli, il mio amico ha preso gli spaghetti, ma non gli sono sembrati così buoni.

Our meal for 6 at La Terrazza was supposed to be our final meal out in Courmayeur and a thank you to me for taking the family on holiday. The experience was a disaster. Our table was booked at 7.45pm, we arrived on time but 40 minutes later, we had still not had our drinks order taken, let alone food. We stopped numerous waiting staff only to be fobbed off time and time again. It took two trips to the bar just to order two rum and cokes (because our waiter refused to accept the order weirdly) but even at the bar the staff were just plain rude. We ordered food one hour after arriving. We don't speak Italian but we don't see this as a crime - we are on holiday and in a tourist town and so it seems reasonable that we could expect some help overcoming the language barrier. This help was not forthcoming, in fact, it was almost as if the waiting staff wanted us to have a miserable time. The staff in general were a bit odd and I suspect they are family members as it seems unlikely they have been recruited for their professional skills. Two of us ordered the fondue at 40 euros per person. The order taker, who we thought did not speak English confirmed that I wanted the cheese fondue - I said yes, that was what we wanted. The food arrived about an hour and a half after we arrived and the fondues were individual things with a bowl of what tasted like packet cheese sauce and a handful of stale squares of bread. We asked for the menu and pointed out that the fondue should come with meats and potato etc. Suddenly the waitress was able to speak English and told us that we had ordered a 20 euro dish called Cheese Fondue and not the fondue we were pointing to on the long and complicated menu. She seemed pleased that we had made the mistake and pointed out that she had asked for confirmation on the choice of dish. It was all just really unpleasant, unprofessional and unhelpful. I'm nearly 60 years old and I have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. At one point, the maître d' came to our table and asked if everything was OK (in Italian), I said that my meal was not OK and he made some snide remark in Italian which we googled at the time which translated to something like 'that's how we do it, if you don't like it, go somewhere else'. So I suppose he sets the scene for the rest of the staff. Basically, the staff were rude and unhelpful throughout our time there, four of the dishes were average and two were awful. If you're on holiday in Courmayeur, do yourself a favour and take their advice - eat somewhere else.

Went again despite having a bad experience the previous year. (I was told ‘mangia a casa’ by the waiter, to eat at home in english) I was given the same treatment as last time. I wanted a table for one and they said they wouldn’t accommodate me as a table for 2 would give them more money. There were atleast 5/6 tables free from which I could see. I guess eating alone in this restaurant is seen as a reason to deny a customer entry. Terrible experience, to the point where it really makes you feel bad about solo travelling.

I choose to believe that this was a bad day for them. We arrived, after a long wait they threw us the menu without even looking to us. 15 min waiting and nothing happened…. No water, no bread, no “what do u want to order”, nothing. Any attempt to interact with the staff was ignored. We were “transparent” for the service even though we were sited in the middle of the main room. We decided to leave not before providing the feedback in a gentle manner. They chose to suggest us to go for a pizza. Rude (or sarcastic) manager. Indeed we went to a pizza place right after and the service, food and ambience was the well know good Italian vibe.
