Ode to L’Angolo di Mel (A Late-Night Slice of Heaven) When midnight waned and stars grew bright, We found a glow in Naples’ night. Though doors were set to close at one, They welcomed us — the day not done. With laughter warm and hearts so wide, The staff let humor be our guide. They joked, they smiled, they stayed awhile, And served up joy with every smile. The scent of dough, the cheese so fine, A crispy base, a taste divine. Each bite a song, a perfect price, A late-night gift of dreams — and slice. So here’s to Mel, a corner gem, Who stayed for us when most would stem The flow of guests and close their gate — But served us love well past the late.

The pizzas were absolutely delicious The crust was just perfect. We tried two different pizzas and both were excellent. The service was also top-notch! Highly recommended for anyone passing through the area!
Grabbed some pizza to go while in Courmayeur and it probably was the best pizza we had while in town for a week! We tried the margarita and diavolo and both were good! Service was quick and pizzas were done in about 20 minutes. This place consistently had people dining no matter what time of day and had a nice outdoor patio out front. Note: they only accept cash. I’d recommend stopping by for a great pizza if you’re in the area!
We were looking for a quick pre dinner fix as we skipped lunch and didn’t want to fill up and this was the perfect spot! Despite an English/Italian mixup (we asked for a pizza with 2 toppings and the owner thought we meant 2 pizzas with 1 topping on each), the owner was all smiles and said it was no problem at all. Pizza was at a great price, fresh and delicious!
Fabulous pizzeria in a spectacular setting surrounded by the majestic skyline of the Italian Alps. The waiter is incredibly gregarious and responsive. They serve delicious local birra. The only complaint would be there is no bathroom.
Decent pizza place which is mostly good for takeaway although there are some seats both outside and inside. These are just by the street though so not the best. Pizzaiolo was very nice and helpful, willing to customize pizza as requested.
The only good place about this place is that this is one of the only places in Courmayeur that is actually open. Pizza was mediocre at best. The place itself is not well taken care of, just looks lame. We were charged 24 EUR for a pizza and 2 small bottles of water, because we took a margarita (10) and added mushrooms, olives and onions to it. Th e menu does not specify how much it would cost to make your own, but this is ridiculous. Look at this pizza and tell me : does it worth this amount? Ofc not. Ridiculous.
Very disappointed. We ordered just two cans of Coke and were charged €13 — over €6 for a single can, which is outrageous even for a tourist area. On top of that, the pizza was just average, nothing special at all. Definitely not worth the price, won’t be coming back.
The food was good. Nice pizza. Thin and crispy. The atmosphere zero. 2010 dance pop music on repeat. Too loud. Doesn’t meet the Courmayeur atmosphere. 25% tip already included in the bill. And that was a total surprise.
They cheat on the ingredients: I ordered Capriciosa which had salame in the menu, but got (much cheaper) wurstel instead. And there were only three olives on the whole pizza. Plus the manager is constantly shouting over your shoulder to grab more people from the street.
Absolute tourist trap. €40 for two small pizzas. No flavor. Burned crust. Just a pile of ingredients, cobbled together. Nice view tho! From the patio
Kebab-style pizza sold for gourmet prices. It is not terrible, but it is unacceptable to pay 20 euros for a take away pizza to get this level of quality, even in Courmayeur. The cherry on top was paying 7 EUR for a 33cl Menabrea beer. Also, the credit card machine was broken, only when we said it was the only way we could pay it became operational again.
The price-quality ratio of the place is totally wrong. Pizza was cold when served, hosts were smoking with a group table next to us. And surprise when leaving; card payment not working cash only. Unable to understand star rating what is this place holding, Poor experience!
The worst pizza of my life! I definitely won't be back. The service was terrible. The waiter stood over me the entire time. Then the waiter watched me eat this disgusting pizza the entire time. I ordered a vegetarian option, and I had to search for vegetables on the pizza. Look at the picture! Plus, the pizza was incredibly expensive. The value for money is 0/10 The atmosphere was awful. The employees seemed to be working as a punishment, with no empathy or smiles. When I asked for olive oil, I received a plastic bag. Terrible place!
Wow! Just ate here and experienced the worst calzone ever. Like anywhere. Uncooked dough and mushrooms. Even the mozzarella sticks (yep, they used sticks, like in the US!) were uncooked. We left 90% uneaten and told the waiter that it was uncooked. Still had to pay for it, though. And that was the second weird experience. Apparently the machine wasn’t working and that they wanted cash. We said ‘no way we’re paying cash!’ But miraculously the machine started working. Hmm, tax scam? Anyway, we read the reviews, couldn’t believe the 4.2 rating it had (which actually lured us in) and it seems as if you either love the place or it’s the worst pizza ever! Up to you to believe which reviews are genuine, but caveat emptor!
We arrived and the table was very dirty. We then ordered 2 pizzas and mine came with a nice roasted dead fly on it (see image) the waiter just removed the pizza from the bill but I still had to pay the service fee! Honestly I cannot imagine the hygiene conditions of that kitchen and this restaurant should be reported to the food and hygiene authorities.
The worst restaurant I have ever been to. Staff is careless and not helpful at all. We paid 34€ for 2 pizzas with 3 slices of ham and water on the bottom. As well for 330ml of water in plastic cup for 2€. And paying 3€ per person for service fee is actually crazy.
This place is essentially just a pizzeria — no other food options are available. On the positive side, the waiter was cheerful and the food was decent. However, the pizzas were overcooked and, at times, even burnt. Overall, there wasn’t much else to enjoy. Credit cards are not accepted, cash only …
