Oggi siamo stati a pranzo con i bimbi in questo ristorante! Una meravigliosa scoperta! Pietanze buonissime e il proprietario davvero gentile e cordiale anche con i bambini! Ci ha fatto conoscere un po della sua terra e ci ha raccontato i suoi piatti! Tutti ottimi!

Ristorante senegalese in pieno centro a Genova, in un vicolo tranquillo e caratteristico. Ci sono stato parecchie volte con diverse compagnie e tutti hanno sempre apprezzato. Proprietario molto simpatico e alla mano, scherza con te e ti fa sentire a casa. Il cibo è davvero molto buono e il menù è molto vario: pesce, carne, ma anche tante opzioni vegetariane e vegane.

Piatti deliziosi. Personalmente ho avuto il piacere di gustare un buonissimo cous cous di miglio senegalese biologico con carne e verdure Grazie Jamila😊

Ristorante ottimo, il cibo era tutto squisito, l'esperienza di Mamadou gli permette di fare piatti eccellenti. Inoltre lui è molto gentile e disponibile. Assolutamente da provare per chi non c'è mai stato e da tornarci per chi c'è già stato.

Great place offering Senegalese food in the very center of Genoa, with a nicely decorated interior. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and although the waiter’s English wasn’t very good, he made an effort to communicate and answer all our questions. The food was excellent, with generous portions from appetizers to dessert. I definitely recommend it!

Delicious food (couscous, chicken in sauce, Dorade. One of us 4 had pizza but we recommend the Senegalese menu! Lovely hibiscus drink offeren by the owner.

The best food we had in Genoa during our stay! Very friendly waiter, he showed us the foods, explained the ingredients and was polite. I highly recommend if you like tasty foods and something else than pizza or pasta. The fish meatballs were full of flavor, the rice cooked perfectly and the fish with vegetables very tender and juicy with a delicious sauce! The place looks simple but had a very nice atmosphere, very chill.

Very nice restaurant ! Good atmosphere, located in a quiet side street. The staff are nice and there are a lot of options, be it meat or plant-based. Would definitely eat here again.

Absolutely pleasant experience, the host did not speak english but still managed to properly communicate with us in a friendly way. Waiting time for the food was more than acceptable, food was extremely delicious.

Senegalese food in Genoa... If you don't go your probably a racist ;-) Went here by chance after failing to get in to some Ligurian places, glad I did. I had the peanut meat curry/stew which was lovely, the guy serving was very helpful despite me speaking no Italian/French and him having limited English. I was outside and got kinda annoyed by how many people stopped and looked and just carried on (to be fair they really could do a better job of describing the food on the menu!). Given the significant African population in Genoa, if you're here for more than 1-2 nights and don't come here, you're definitely a racist! (OK probably not but a bit of clickbait never hurt anyone and its defnitely worth a visit and a much better bet than some of the more mediocre tourist-y places nearby, mentioning no names my other review!)

Great evening (Senegalese) meal and a good break from Pizza/Pasta. Lovely experience and would recommend all to try. Yassa Poulet was a bit hit with my kids as was the Mafe lamb. Open your mind to new experiences and enjoy

From the second we stepped through the door we felt very welcome at this place. We didn't speak much Italian but we managed to communicate in broken Italian, French and English. As we sat down or lovely host brought out complimentary juices, all very tasty. As for the rest of the meal it was amazing. They have good vegan and vegetarian options but also cater to meat lovers.

Very authentic and flavourful Senegalese food. Good-sized portions. Yassou chicken, maffè, couscous and orata were all very good. Very amiable and accommodating Senegalese host. Cheerful decoration inside. Pricing is reasonable. Recommended.

Great Senegalese food, the host was talkative and gracious. But the hostess was not the best. Was always in a hurry. Plus we went in summer and without air conditioning, it's very hot in the restaurant. Also a number of items in the menu weren't available. But whatever we were served was good.

Ristorante con un'ottima cucina con piatti davvero rappresentativi della cucina senegalese (e non solo, da provare i dolci al cioccolato della Costa d'Avorio). Servizio al tavolo purtroppo un po' dozzinale (per fare un esempio, i cucchiaini del dolce sono stati portati al tavolo tenuti dalla paletta). Nell'insieme un'esperienza interessante, in una città, Genova, che manca di grandi ristoranti di cucina africana. Sicuramente da provare.

Abbiamo mangiato benissimo in questo ristorante. La cuoca o il cuoco eccezionale in quanto i piatti rappresentavano proprio la cucina del paese. Ho trovato comunque estremamente costose le bibite, 20€ al litro. In più l’oste non è proprio gentile e educato. Ha urlato davanti a tutti a dei clienti, sicuramente pur avendo ragione non era il modo. In più deve imparare a rispondere con cortesia a chi gli chiede di un piatto perché se lo avessimo saputo non l’avremmo chiesto. Per la location nel centro storico è semplicemente bello, rappresenta una parte di Genova. Quindi il mio voto si abbassa solo per l’oste. Per il resto se potete soprassedere a questi comportamenti, lo raccomando.

Servizio poco cortese e professionale. Cous cous imbarazzante, odore e sapore mi hanno nauseato. Carne con riso più buoni.

It does not even deserve one star. We went to the restorant at 11 pm. In google says that it will close at 01.00. We asked for food and the waiter behaved impolitely. The waiter was only talking italian and he didnt even care what we are asking. He was almost kicking us out.
