I stumbled upon this place by roaming around the streets of Genova across the Porto Antico, and it was just the perfect discovery. I tried the Ligurian and local classic fresh homemade pasta with pesto (Mandilli al pesto Genovese), which was simply exquisite! I also had the grilled octopus paired with potato purée and squid ink. It was one of the tastiest dishes I tried on my trip to Italy. Kudos to the waitress who recommended it. The prices at Le Mani in Pasta were affordable per Italian standards, and the staff was very friendly.

Had the best pasta! The desserts especially the cheesecake is super delicious! Totally recommended the platter as entree and dont forget to try the squid ink pasta (forgot the name in the menu)

One of the most complicated things when travelling is finding good places to eat. I am going to make it easy for you this time if you are visiting Genova and near the port, specially coming in a cruise ship. This small restaurant was DELICIOUS and very affordable. Seafood was fresh and the pasta amazing, specially the Genova pesto specialty. The desserts were out of this world!!! Staff was very friendly and nice. Two of the family do not eat seafood and the staff glady cooked plates not on the menu. I don't think you'll go wrong choosing this place specially if you like seafood and pasta.

What a hidden gem! Friendly service, fresh and great food, there’s nothing to be left desired. One thing however, you need to love seafood, otherwise your options for a main dish are limited.

We didn't plan to eat in this restaurant but fortunately for us we changed our mind when the restaurant we were supposed to go was closed... friendly staffs, preparation is extremely fast, we wanted to be adventurous with new food and we ordered for 1st plates of food that we didn't really know and when it was served, I was scared of my own because of it looks (black spaghetti) 🤣🙈 but the food was so delicious, and my man food was also nice. Reasonable price and verrrry delicious pasta that I’ve had ever :) I choose the genoa traditional pasta - basilic pesto - and it’s true what I choose! Recommended wine is also nice and I was really full! When I go to Genoa again, I must go to this restaurant:) Recommend!

We had a fantastic experience for lunch, they are very kind and friendly. We ordered classic Genoa pastas that were very fresh and delicious as well as a special seafood carpaccio that was outstanding. Best Italian food we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!!

Ci siamo trovati per caso, è stata una piacevole esperienza. Molto buona la rivisitazione del polipo con le patate, buoni i mandilli al pesto e molto delicato il branzino flambe con aromi peccato solo il tonno in crosta di sesamo, di cui prima ti chiedono la cottura, e poi non la rispettano, troppo cotto e troppo salato. Ottimo il salame di cioccolato, il prezzo onesto 77 euro, pendo che mangiando pesce sia il minimo. Otrima esperienza

Ottima esperienza gestito in modo molto cortese abbiamo mangiato un antipasto due primi e un secondo tutto di ottima qualità.. il ristorante si trova a 5’ a piedi dall’acquario ed il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo lo consiglio.

Personale gentile, sorridente e disponibile. Abbiamo preso le cozze ed erano fresche e molto gustose. Spaghetti di mare buonissimi, trenette alla triglia a mio gusto personale un pò troppo speziate. Nel complesso abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Ci torneremo presto

Festeggiamento del compleanno con un ristretta cerchia di amici, su suggerimento di un'amica. È stata un bella scoperta in tutti i sensi. La simpatia e la cortesia dei gestori, il locale caratterististico, l'ottimo cibo dall'antipasto al dolce. Cena a base di pesce. Vini bianchi ottimi, compreso il mio vino preferito - chardonnay Planeta -. Prezzi medi. Ci ritornerò sicuramente

Un buon locale per provare il gusto genovese a tavola. La loro pasta è ben preparata e condita nei modi tradizionali previsti dalla cucina ligure. Ottime le materie prime che vanno dalle cozze al pesce del giorno, dal comodato alla genovese fino ai dolci. Cortese il servizio da parte di camerieri e titolare. Buono anche il prezzo.

Buona osteria con un mix tra piatti tipici e classici. Primi piatti veramente ottimi sia per i tipi di pasta pfferti che per i condimenti di grande qualità. Una piccola nota negativa sulla cameriera impreparata sulla spiegazione dei dolci tipici liguri, ma facilmente migliorabile.

Ristorante facilmente raggiungibile anche a piedi partendo dall'Acquario di Genova. Particolari e buoni i taglierini al nero di seppia e ragù di gamberi. Ottimo il Tiramisù della casa. Peccato per la non disponibilità del fritto misto a causa dell'assenza della friggitrice. Personale cordiale e gentile. Prezzi nella norma.

Il ristorante è posto al porto antico in un vicolo caratteristico. La cucina è semplice ma allo stesso tempo ricercata tra tradizione e novità. Si passa dalle trofie al pesto a piatti di pesce senza dimenticare piatti di carne. Sempre presenti ottimi dolci fatti in casa.

Nice place with large portions. Most menu items are with seafood. Decent selection of wines by the glass. Friendly and welcomkng staff. Only downside outside seating by the dumpsters so it is nicer to sit inside.

Cozy place, friendly staff and excellent service. Food was good, however we did not enjoy our gnocchi with salmon. It was super salty.

Lovely restaurant with good pasta and cheese. Must try old genoa dishes such as mandilli with genovese pesto. There is a wine recommendation for almost every pasta dish. Price is affordable with pasta around 10 Euro and 4 euro for a glass of wine.

Cenato in questa trattoria ... genovese ... per la prima volta ma ... il cappon magro buono, stoccafisso accomodato alla genovese insipido .. con patate crude e tagliate a pezzi grandi e a fette .. alcune parti con buccia ... stok sfilaccioso sembrava pre bollito .. da genovese direi che non va fatto proprio cosi. Fritti misto buono. Dolci buoni. Costo della cena sarebbe anche in linea se le portate fossero state ben fatte. Servizio buono. Locale accogliente e tipico.

Cibo nella media ma caro per quello che è . Ambiente freddo, niente musica, cameriera poco interessata nonostante fossimo l’unico tavolo. Peccato, me lo ricordavo meglio

Maybe I just chose a bad menu item but the pasta was so mushy and hard to eat. Brimming with oil and it made my tummy ache. Everything else was great though. Good ambiance great service and that chocolate Panna Cotta is just wonderful. I can't forget the taste of the green gnocchetti though so 3 stars for me

Sono genovese quindi conosco il piatto e il cappon Magro non mi è piaciuto, verdure monocolore e monosapore, muscoli asciutti, scampetto, gamberetto e pezzetto di pesce normali. La salsa verde sembrava solo prezzemolo e non migliorava il piatto. Salmone buono, contorno di verdure banale. La torta caprese buona ma la salsa al cioccolato stucchevole. Un calice di vermentino normale. Questo per più di 50 euro. Non penso di tornarci nonostante la gentilezza della cameriera.

Worst pasta of whole Italy. We asked for two plates of pasta pomodoro, a food I had hundreds of times in all over Italy and in the region as well. It tasted like the worst kind of canned ready made pasta. My friend ate is because we were starving, but I decided to just not have dinner rather. We also asked for no cheese, got it either way. I asked for a discount for the horrible food I didn’t touch, but didn’t get any.

Normally I'm not giving less than 4 stars, but here I must. The food was good, not amazing but good. The thing is that the waiter/owner of the restaurant was really rude. We felt like he doesn't want to serve us, like he is the boss and we are little kids that know nothing about food. He was rushing us to choose from the menu. Normally we would stand up, say something and leave. But in this case we were with a bigger group. Something else to be aware of, if you end up deciding to go there, is at the moment of paying your bill. He wanted to trick us into paying double service fees. Thanks to one of our friends he changed the bill. There is a lot of similar, cute, little restaurant in the area, so don't waste your time or good spirits here. Definitely not recommended.
