Un ristorante dove oltre a mangiare bene si respira la passione dello chef per quello che fa. Il pesce inutile dirlo freschissimo! Piatti molto buoni e spiegati uno per uno dallo chef che ti guida alla storia delle varie preparazioni degli ingredienti che compongono i piatti, li capisci la passione che mettono in ciò che portano al tavolo. Ho mangiato un antipasto di crudi veramente ottimo e abbondante. I ricci di mare gustosissimi!! L ho trovato per caso ma posso dire con certezza che ci tornerò ogni volta che capiterò a Genova. Si trova vicino all'acquario il che è ottimo per il parcheggio. Il personale è tutto giovane e si vede che è anche affiatato. Molto molto bravi!!

Ristorante caratteristico, situato in un caratteristico carruggio ligure vicino al porto antico in pieno centro storico, in un ambiente molto accogliente e molto curato. Producono in proprio germogli di vario tipo e “salumi” di tonno, la cucina è di mare e presenta piatti molto curati e, siccome anche l’occhio vuole la sua parte, presentati molto bene con impiattamenti curati anche dal punto di vista cromatico. I piatti sono molto buoni con scelte eccellenti per quanto riguarda le materie prime tutte di ottima qualità; il pescato è quasi esclusivamente locale e, non di poco conto, il tonno è solo il pregiato tonno rosso ligure, il meglio. Ottima anche la carta dei vini che rappresenta l’italia con particolare attenzione ai vini liguri. Ciliegina sulla torta il personale, sempre discreto, attento gentile e preparato, anche il cuoco che “perde tempo” (ovviamente scherzo) a spiegare i piatti più intriganti come ad esempio l’amuse-bouche, piccola pasticceria salata, veramente buona, accompagnata da un burro montato al limite della denuncia tanto era buona, inoltre molto disponibile nel rispondere ad ogni domanda. In conclusione un’ottima cena consumata in un ottimo ambiente. Una gradevolissima serata. Altra cosa non di poco conto il conto, scusate il bisticcio, ampiamente in linea con la qualità dei prodotti serviti e del servizio; un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Era tanto che volevo provare questo ristorante, quale migliore occasione di un pranzo insieme ad una Amica!! Lo chef e la sua brigata sono stati eccezionali, la ricercatezza del gusto, degli abbinamenti perfetti, la freschezza e l’accuratezza delle materie prime rendono ogni boccone un’esplosine in bocca!! Noi abbiamo provato l’antipasto di crudo di mare (che cambia ogni giorno) e i tagliolini d’ortica con sugo di riccio, bottarga di riccio e riccio in purezza come conclusione del piatto… Stratosferico!! Tutto accompagnato dal una bottiglia di bollicine 🍾 il prezzo è equiparato alla qualità. Voto per me 10 👍🏻 Assolutamente da provare

Che bella Genova. Una città ricca di scoperte, storia, architettura ed arte. Via XX , De Ferrari, Palazzo Ducale, Palazzo Rosso e San Lorenzo richiamano al genio ed alla manualità di grandi artisti : alcuni col pennello, altri col marmo o con compasso e squadro ...... oppure con fornelli e cucchiaio ! Bisogna saperla guardare e viverla anche nei carruggi più nascosti, quindi non perdete l'occasione di infilarVi in Vico Giannini

Venire a mangiare da "Alla Lunga" è sempre un'esperienza unica e diversa. Non solo il cibo ed il servizio sono curati nei minimi dettagli, ma l'ambiente accogliente ed affascinante che sono riusciti a costruire ti permette di godere ancora di più dell'arte e della ricercatezza che lo staff presentano in ogni singola portata. This was the best meal I’ve had in Italy in my month of traveling. As a pescatarian I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they only serves fish dishes fish dishes. Nothing disappointed. The tuna belly melted in my mouth and the flavors were incredible. I need to come back to Bologna with my mother so she can try this restaurant!

We were very lucky to walk in without a reservation and got the last table. It’s a beautiful restaurant with a nice, relaxed and classy atmosphere. Excellent welcome , service and explanation of the options, ingredients , wine choices. We opted for the classic menu and it was a real adventure and exploration of the sea! Loved it!

We called the restaurant last minute and were super lucky to get a table, especially as the restaurant caters to limited number of guests to maintain their food quality. First thanks for accommodating us! Now to the dining experience. We highly recommend including Alla Lunga in your itinerary if your are visiting the Italian Rivera. Each dish was packed with different flavors that were all fresh, carefully designed and offered delicious local seafood taste. Be it the lemony olive oil or the anchovies butter complimented by berry sauce or the calamari salad with tomato sauce or the fish with spicy sauce made from home grown peppers .. each dish was distinct and delicious. The chef was kind enough to accommodate us and serve an off menu dish - a perfectly grilled fish with zucchini and carrot salad that our child thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Chef! If I really had a pick a thing, then the only thing that slightly disappointed me was that the restaurant did not serve red wine by glass. With regard to service, the restaurant staff members were polite and friendly. They were easy approach. The chef himself ensured he met each guests and shared his passion for food, farming and flavours. It was also lovely to meet restaurant dog Willie. He was amazingly well behaved. While the food is exclusive the restaurant vibe is low key and easy going. We really enjoyed ourselves as it felt more like a relaxed fine dining experience versus a fancy one.

This was above and beyond and I know seafood being from New Orleans. I could taste the Ligurian Sea. Every bite was made with heart and soul. The Chef was king of the kitchen and the entire dining experience. The service was impeccable. Best sea urchins ever. See for yourself - look at my pictures. Just left there totally satisfied, in heaven and sad to leave the Genova experience which you will not have unless you top it off with Alla Lunga Ristorante. Totally AMAZEBALLS.

I have waited way too much to go to Alla Lunga. So, if you are in Genoa, just book a table. Lunch or dinner. Chef Gebris has designed a fine menu with all things Mediterranean sea (or the most flavorful ones). I have been living in Liguria for almost two years now and hadn't still tried capasanta - then, I had probably the best. The gnocchetti was cooked to perfection and, although the tomatoes are not highlighted on the dish description, they are the most delicious thing about that. The rana pescatrice has the same "issue": doesn't feature the lard on the description and now I can only think that I gotta be back soon for the lard. And the green sauce. So, be prepared to order and get surprised for the delicious unexpected ingredients. I couldn't try more things because I had more bread than a person should have at once. All homemade, natural levitation, baked to perfection, served with lime infused olive oil and a killer butter (I'm not gonna spoil that one; go figure... you're welcome). Two things to pay attention: the aged tuna and the fresh herbs. All the Chef's doing. Just amazing. I had the most friendly service from the waiting staff and a warm welcome from the kitchen one. Thank you all for the amazing experience. See you soon!

Loved the restraunt, our waitress from Brazil spoke very good english to help interpret the menu for us. The Chef provided a suprise and impressive 3 bite dish, with the sweet onion bite being my favorite. I think it may have been Tropea Onions, but maybe I will never know. It was the best onion I've ever eaten in my life. Amazing atmosphere, highly recommended.

Came here on my birthday because of the reviews and I must say it was a very beautiful culinary experience! A lot of unique flavors for a good price (Per person we had 3 courses + drinks for +- €50 pp). The bread is also amazing and the service is very quickly. I recommend the chocolate cake as dessert. Would definitely come back here if I visit Genoa again.

What a treat! This restaurant is a must eat when in Genova. Make sure you make a reservation because they are popular and the number of tables is limited. The menu is all fish, be prepared. Wines are great, local and plenty of choice. The dessert Panna Cotta is eccezionale 👌🏻

Un ristorante che conquista subito per la sua atmosfera accogliente e curata. I piatti sono preparati con ingredienti freschi e di qualità, con abbinamenti di sapori sempre interessanti e ben bilanciati. Potenzialità dello chef davvero alte, servizio assolutamente inadeguato per i prezzi. Mediamente dai 20 ai 35 euro a piatto, ben preparati e ben eseguiti. Porzioni scarse se ordini alla carta. Gerrarchia di sala sembrava inesistente, lo chef invece che in cucina è rimasto a spiegare i vini e i piatti a dei clienti di un tavolo, mentre altri 3 tavoli aspettano di prendere l'ordinazione per più di 15 minuti. I camerieri dei ragazzini poco preparati. Sono cose che in un normale ristorante non ci fai nemmeno caso, ma dal momento in cui potenzialmente per una cena spendi più di 200 euro a mani basse, mi aspetto che tutto sia al posto giusto, nei modi e nei tempi. Rivisiterò questo locale per dargli un altra possibilità, sono certo che avrà modo di cogliere questa critica con spirito di miglioramento.

The food was not good, the service was meh (maybe except the chef - he was passionate). Saddens me to leave 2 stars, I had very high expectations of the place, but I was majorly disappointed, especially given the other reviews (4.8 at the time of writing)

Siamo stati recentemente in questo ristorante a Genova e, purtroppo, l’esperienza è stata decisamente deludente. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto di crudo e cotto: la materia prima era effettivamente fresca, ma le quantità erano ridotte rispetto al prezzo. In due, praticamente un assaggio a testa. A questo si aggiunge un coperto caro (4,5€ a testa) per un “entrée della casa” I tempi di attesa sono stati uno degli aspetti peggiori: almeno un’ora abbondante solo per ricevere l’entrée e complessivamente due ore per riuscire a mangiare e lasciare il tavolo. Un’attesa davvero ingiustificata. Per quanto riguarda i primi che abbiamo ordinato, erano buoni si, ma le porzioni erano scarse ed erano molto oleosi. In sintesi: prezzi alti, tempi di attesa lunghissimi e un’esperienza complessiva che non giustifica assolutamente il conto finale. Un posto che, personalmente, non mi sento di consigliare.

Esperienza complessivamente deludente, soprattutto per il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Premetto che la materia prima è fresca, e questo va riconosciuto. Purtroppo, però, è l'unica nota davvero positiva della serata. Partiamo dai tempi di attesa, che sono stati il problema principale: circa un'ora prima di ricevere l'entrée offerta dalla casa, e altri 40-50 minuti di attesa tra quella e l'arrivo dei piatti. In totale siamo rimasti al ristorante oltre due ore, un tempo francamente eccessivo. Abbiamo preso un antipasto, il "crudo e cotto", da dividere in due: porzione davvero scarsa, appena un boccone a testa. Quanto ai piatti principali, pur partendo da ingredienti di qualità, peccano di una quantità esagerata di condimento. La mia pasta era letteralmente affogata nella salsa, al punto da coprire completamente il sapore del piatto. A fronte di tutto questo, i prezzi si aggirano sui 25-30 euro a piatto, con un coperto di 4,50 euro a persona. Siamo usciti sazi, sì, ma sostanzialmente perché ci siamo riempiti di pane. Non la sensazione che vorresti avere uscendo da un ristorante di questa fascia di prezzo.
