Opinions de Bar Lambrate Via Edoardo Bassini
Excellent wine bar where Luna hosts a fantastic karaoke every Wednesday night. As a karaoke fan, I've been to many, and this is my favorite. I also enjoy the food and drinks. Good wine and excellent platters, appetizers, and stuffed pinsas. The staff are extremely friendly, which is certainly not a given!
A place not to be missed. The karaoke and live music events are wonderful. The artistic director is a very sweet woman and manages to engage everyone, creating a unique atmosphere. The place is small, and reservations are required for events as they attract a lot of people. I really don't know how the artistic director manages to always manage the evenings with such courtesy and patience. Unfortunately, sometimes some rude and presumptuous people show up, showing no respect for those who reserve a table for the next shift. But despite the huge crowds, I was always given the reserved seat and was always able to sing. The tavern also has a good selection of wines, with the option of focaccia, platters, etc. at a very reasonable price. I recommend everyone to try it because it's truly a place worth trying.
Top :)
Trust the guys, they have very good wines and make good meals too. I usually let them help me decide based on what I want that day, and they've never missed one
The stuff is very kind !
Nice wine selection, friendly environment and nice aperitif. Highly recommended if you are looking for something nice and not so expensive
A small but very welcoming place. The food is good; I ordered a pinza and I have to say the prices are fair and the portions are good. The only downside is the service, which, while friendly, was (in my case) very slow, with a wait of over half an hour. All in all, a great experience!
I frequent this place for the karaoke nights run by Luna and Alessio. I've always had a great time, especially for the friendly, fun atmosphere they create. It's like being at a friend's house. I don't drink alcohol, so I can't comment on many of the items served. I come here for the company and to have a wonderful, joyful evening. Highly recommended!
pretty crowded at night but they have really good deals during the week. You can get a house wine for a very reasonable price which is rare to find in Milan. Also, some nights they have live music so it can be a nice place to get a drink with friends
Final comment: A place in the Lambrate area that stands out for selling various types of wine by the glass. The prices are very low by Milanese standards, and the food quality is average. Definitely worth returning. Location (3/5): The place is simple, with different styles and bottles of wine on display. Presentation of dishes (4/5): Very simple and minimal. Typical of a Milanese nightlife spot. Product quality (4/5): The place's great feature is its sale of wine by the glass. They offer Lambrusco, reds, whites, rosés, and a wide selection of bottled wines. The wine is not heavy, but is young and fragrant. It has no acidic aftertaste and is pleasant on the palate. Furthermore, it is well-fermented and free of preservatives. They also offer craft beer on the menu, but I haven't tried it. The food is of average quality. Some of the pizzas were a bit tough at times, but overall, for the price, it was acceptable. Hospitality (5/5): The owner is another highlight of the place. Extremely friendly, approachable, and ready to accommodate your every need. Service (4/5): Prompt when called and clean. They're open to menu changes, and the service is quick and efficient. Online Service (4/5): Works great, and you get a response immediately. Price (4/5): Very low prices. On Tuesdays, a glass of wine is €2, and on other days €4. Aperitifs are €7. Conclusion: A place that stands out for its wine sales by the glass. The food is average quality and prices are very low compared to the average Milanese aperitif. The staff is very friendly. Definitely worth keeping on your list for an affordable and different aperitif.
Great customer service from the two girls on a very busy night. They took great care of us and made us feel very welcome. We got one of the cheapest wines which was still very good and didn't give us an headache the day after. Food is great too piadine for 5 euros was delicious maybe the 10 euros tagliere could be a bit richer.
I don't feel like giving fewer stars; it's a wine shop in my neighborhood, and I want it to be a success! But... we ordered two glasses of wine at opening time, and we weren't served anything to eat (not even chips). They arrived later to apologize for the wait. Yes, because we also requested the appetizer platter, which cost three euros each. The platter arrived meager, now that we'd finished the wine: two pieces of toast, two pieces of cheese, two mini bruschettas, two tiny slices of pizza (€6... this platter, even late...). I asked the owner if this had happened to him, how would he have rated the place? I suggest either having the girl at the cash register work too so she can be truly helpful, or having the platters prepared ahead of time so as to avoid these astronomical delays. We would have also stopped for another glass of wine or a bottle, but given the 40 minutes for a mini platter, we skipped it. You can do great things; stop, rethink a few things, and you'll be a hit! But you have to rethink a few things, otherwise it's hard to keep going. Regards Reply: We were there on Friday, November 7. Two glasses of wine, no fries were brought. They were only brought when we asked for the platter, and the wait was so long that we were almost out of wine. Once we'd finished the wine, the platter arrived. I confirm the platter included what was listed, but for €6 and a 40-minute wait, the cost seems a bit high and the content a bit low. Regards
It's a difficult review. I like this place for its spirit: ironic, casual, and sincere, like its owner. You can tell there's love and creativity, and that's important in a place. It's a bit lacking in substance: a selection of at least four beers on tap, perhaps by partnering with a lesser-known brewery in the area (Brificio di Ringhiera comes to mind, a Miss K, also due to a similar spirit). On the other hand, a selection of wines and canned beers is far too extensive; an aperitivo that's decent but doesn't stand out, perhaps due to the lack of special treats. The karaoke night is fantastic, and I'd love to attend in the future. A place to keep an eye on, as it has promising prospects and plenty of ideas, but for me it hasn't yet found its defining value.
Please don't call it a wine shop or wine bar because otherwise people expect to find good wine and knowledgeable staff on the subject instead, alas, it's the complete opposite... the type that don't even know what wine they're serving you... A bad bottle can happen... too bad we didn't have the chance to reorder another or order a pinsa because the waiter was busy the whole time in the kitchen until we got fed up and left. It's a place mostly for students, quite cheap, with no great pretensions. The second star is to reward the kindness of the staff who, although inexperienced and not very organized, were kind and nice.
Hello, Owner and friend of the artistic director, I'll be brief: I don't like tarantellas either, and even less so the lack of professionalism in running a business. First point: we arrived between 5:45 and 6:30 PM, and the table was already taken. One of us had called to reserve, and when asked if we wanted to stay for the karaoke event, we said yes, clearly demonstrating our interest three weeks in advance. Let's move on to the aperitivo buffet: we were presented with three menus (7, 10, and 15 euros), which we discussed as a group and confirmed our choices. However, what we were served didn't live up to expectations: small portions, in some cases not even a single piece each. No cured meats were served, nor was there an omelette or puff pastry roll, and only three baskets of chips. At 8:26 PM, the gentleman at the register told us the charcuterie boards were arriving, but by 8:00 PM, your artistic director had already asked us to vacate the table. That said, I'd like to point out that we called, booked, chose a menu, and yet, despite everything, we felt pressured to leave the table without having finished our order. I find this behavior rude and impolite. In conclusion, I wish you every success with your evenings. If I were free at Christmas, I would book without hesitation. Once again, I wish you all the best!
I organized my birthday party here. We booked three weeks in advance and had a table confirmed until 8:30 PM. At 8:00 PM, the very friendly artistic director told us we had to leave and took the liberty of making jokes into the microphone in front of the entire venue about the fact that we'd been seated until 8:30 PM. We were told that from 8:30 PM onward we could attend karaoke night tonight, and based on the attendance, she would let us know whether we could stay with a table or not. Apparently, attendance takes precedence over a reservation made three weeks in advance. That said, at 8:30 PM, we were kicked out of the venue and mocked by the artistic director—honestly, a rudeness I've never seen before. No complaints about the service; personally, I found the waiters friendly. I'll never go again; I hope the artistic director learns some manners.
