B&B idéalement situé, calme malgré la proximité de la gare, nombreux restaurants et transports en commun aux environs très proches ce qui peut être pratique après une journée de balade où les kilomètres s'accumulent vite...accueil irréprochable de Valerio qui est très sympathique et attentif aux personnes qu'il reçoit. On a vraiment l'impression d'être reçu par un copain qui vous prête attention et ne vous voit pas comme un simple client...un grand merci à lui. Valerio donne également beaucoup de bonnes adresses où bien manger ce qui est un plus non négligeable. Nous y retournerons sans aucune hésitation lors d'un prochain séjour à Rome

A perfect location to explore ancient Rome and also the countryside. Very close to Termini with access to trains, metro and buses. Lots of local restaurants. The room was ideal and breakfast supplied. Tea and coffee making facilities were great to have. Will definitely come back. Valerio shared great tips for restaurants.

Lovely place to spend some nights in Rome! We absolutely enjoyed the location close to Termini station, the restaurants and bars in the neighborhood and of course the room itself! It’s equipped with all your needs, clean and a lovely view (located on the 5th floor). Valerio is a fantastic host, who even offered a great variety of breakfast options within the room. This is a wonderful place to stay. Valerio had so many wonderful recommendations and he was always available by phone. My room was very clean and comfortable. The B & B is very close to the train station so it was an easy walk after an easy ride from the airport. Perfect, especially after two long flights. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Me and my husband stayed in A Roman Tale for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place was very near the Termini main station, which I liked as it was very convenient for us with our big luggages to arrive by train and also easy to take the Leonardo express to the airport when we left. The room is on the 5th floor with a lovely balcony. There’s a beautiful courtyard. I love the room we stayed in, clean, comfortable, felt very “Roman”. Many items provided- Plentiful of towels, hot water kettle, soap, fridge. There was hot water when we bathed. The accommodation was superb but the best of all is having Valerio as host as he is such a lovely and warm person, he texted me in advance to understand my arrival timing and to share on recommendations in Rome . Throughout my stay in Rome, it was very easy to contact him (via whatsapp) and he will help you with any questions if he can. He is a very nice person. We tried both the standing breakfast at the cafe (awesome coffee!) as well as the breakfast bag (presented with so much goodies- biscuits, bread, jam, coffee capsules, tea, milk,cheese and others in fridge). Both were absolutely wonderful and delightful. The true Roman style of having breakfast was certainly a memory that remain with us. The accommodation felt safe too with the door locks. And there were double locks in fact, one for the main door and the other for the bedroom door. It felt truly secure. When in Rome, go for A Roman Tale! I would recommend this place to anyone and we would want to come back here again and forever more. Big thank you to Valerio!!

Great location is really close to the train station and accessible to lots of the sites by foot and bus. The view from the balcony is great but didn't have much time to relax as we were out most of the time. The host is very friendly and gave lots of detail on the stay and recommendations.

Wir verbrachten vier Nächte in "A Roman Tale B&B" und waren sehr begeistert. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit externem Bad, welches direkt neben unserem Zimmer lag und nur für uns zugänglich war. Das Zimmer war liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Valerio ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der uns bereits vor der Anreise mit vielen Informationen und Tipps versorgt hat. Auch während unseres aufenthaltes hatte er immer ein offenes Ohr für Fragen und war für uns permanent erreichbar. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr gut. Wir konnten nicht alles aufessen :-) Wir durften unser Gepäck vor dem Check in und nach dem Check out noch kostenlos im B&B sicher stehen lassen. Bei unserer nächsten Rom-Reise kommen wir auf alle Fälle wieder zu Valerio :-)

Great location, just three minute walk from Termini. Our host, Valerio, is exceptional—he made sure we were comfortable and all of our questions answered. He also gave us great recommendations for restaurants The room was well stocked with towels, coffee, and treats and the soundproof windows and AC made it a perfect, relaxing stay

We stayed for three nights and it was a comfortable stay. There was a kettle and fridge in the room which was helpful. The bed was comfortable. The only thing I’d say is that the duvet wasn’t encased in a cover - it was more sandwiched between bed sheets. I don’t know, maybe this is normal in Italy, but something about touching a duvet that hundreds of others could have touched and done who knows what on gave me the ick. So if they get some proper duvet covers for the bed this place would be five star. The host was very friendly and helpful, and he was always available to chat over whatsapp if we had any questions. He also let us leave our luggage there on check-out day which was a nice touch. The location of the place is good if you’re coming from the airport by bus because you get dropped off at the train station which is a five minute walk from the accommodation. It is a 20 minute walk to the main touristy area but there are plenty of buses, etc. One really nice thing was that I asked the host if they could do something for my partner’s birthday and they provided a cake free of charge!

sehr zentral, in der Nähe BH Termini, aber 2 Strassen davon entfernt und damit ruhig(er). Sehr liebevoll und individuell eingerichtete Zimmer (renovierte Möbel aus der Epoche). Gastgeber (Valerio) ist sehr, sehr gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert...
