Absolutely love this bagel shop! The bagels are always fresh, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They have a great selection of spreads and sandwiches, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. My go-to spot for breakfast and coffee. Highly recommend!

Good solid bagel place in a strip mall. Bagels are good, as are breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The line is always long and slow-moving in the morning. Save yourself hassle and order on the app to skip the line and grab and go. If you get a dozen, they give you 13. Grab a plastic bag for storing (don't store in the box or they will get stale.)

Recently Visited this site again, it looks decent now. It used to be a very good breakfast place.. but today, it is very bad. I bought bakers' dozen plain bagels, all thirteen are out of shape , overcooked and tasteless , instead of selling these types of bagels, they should throw into trash and maintained quality control and atleast they should have informed while selling these kind of bagels.

I am a fan of Einstein Bros Bagels. Their hash brown, and green chilly bagel are my favourites. They can definitely do a better a job with their jalapeño bagels. 1st time visiting this location. The line was out the door, but if you see that don't let it deter you there is not a lot of line room to order it goes really quick. Bagels I got were very fresh and as with the right amount of cream cheese. I recommend if you like more or less cream cheese be sure to let them know when ordering. Overall decor was like other locations but busy and pleasant without being too crazy.

I was in last week before work. Ordered half dozen 🥯, a small coffee plus 2 hashbrows. Only to realized once I got to work they had only put 1 ashbrown instead of 2! Very 😡 didn't have the time to go back and claim it . But other than that they are usually good Please check your orders! They weren't even busy past 8am

Six years ago I wrote a very positive review. Einstein Bagels will be no more at the rate they are going. On a mid weekday 9:30 in the morning the place is nearly empty. I always order a sesame bagel, toasted with butter. I've found the toaster is not adjusted to toast at any store, it slightly heats. Add 4 tablespoons of butter and it doesn't melt in, YUK. Granted that is way too much in the first place and is it even butter? Most terrible bagel and don't get me started on the price. Ridiculous! I'm out!

Food is good. We always order ahead on the app. My issue with this location is that you have to order a good 30 minutes ahead. They are pretty slow. I've shown up before, 20 minutes after ordering, and still had to wait another 10 mins. When I arrived there were only 2 other parties there so I'm not really sure why it took 30 minutes to make 2 bagel sandwiches. If you've got plenty of time, give it a go.

Chain bagel cafe located in a small shopping plaza on the corner of Pomerado Rd x Bernardo Heights Pkwy. This place gets pretty busy in the mornings, weekdays and weekends. Small amount of seating inside and out. We've come here a handful of times. First time, my husband had the best cinnamon sugar bagel he'd ever eaten. He was absolutely infatuated. Second time, we went around 11 and they were out of his bagel. Third time we went, they had it but the texture and coating was completely different! Not sure if we got the wrong bagel the first time or the last time, but they were definitely not the same bagel and now we're confused.

Don't accept a 50 dollar bill and was all I had. This is ridiculous. Then i activated a credit card i never used just to buy breakfast to find out the coffee was empty. Not a bg deal accept i have been sitting here waiting for someone to start brewing some.

It's amazing this Einstein is still in business. There hasn't been a single time I've been here where they haven't had a problem and at least 2 pissed off customers in the room. The service is terrible, like they haven't been trained on the technology behind the bagle.

I was helped by the guy who wears glasses and has dread locks. This guy couldn't have been more unhappy to be there. In addition to ordering bagels, I ordered two breakfast sandwiches (egg/bacon/cheese). After the third person who was in back of received their order, I asked the cashier about mine. She told me they were bagging it up now. This was a lie as I could see that my order hadn't neen started yet. Finally, another server brought out my order and another customer's order. When I got home, the server gave us the wrong bags. The only reason why I am giving 2 stars vs 1 is, the bagels were tasty.

Bought a baker’s dozen + two cream cheese and drove back home this morning and only realized that it had only 10. I had to call in and went back the second time to get the additional three. You need to check before leaving the shop. By the way, the bagels are becoming smaller and smaller over time.

This used to be my favorite spot for a quick bite after fasted lab work but over the last few years it's gotten terrible. The workers have become less than friendly, none of them are wearing hairnets (very few are wearing hats) and the majority of them are wearing jewelry when handling food. Gross! The food is mostly ok but I have had my bagel sandwich almost burnt or the hash brown muffin under cooked. Don't get me started on how terrible the coffee drinks are. OJ is usually good though. The floor and tables are often littered with crumbs and I've never seen anyone wipe down tables during my visits.

Asked the female employee to pack 2 jalapeno cheese, 2 asiago, and 2 garlic. After a couple of minutes she asked again which ones to pack, so told her again. Now this morning opened the bag to see that she packed 2 everything-on-it bagels instead of the 2 asiago I had asked for. Where the heck is your attention when serving??

I ordered an everything bagel with plain smear and small coffee through the app. My order was ready upon pickup. The dining area and coffee dispenser area were dusty, dirty and the restroom was not clean. I'm appalled that food is prepared, served and eaten here. The hodge podge of goodwill tables and chairs lining the outside is unattractive. Especially since sitting out on the walkway would be enjoyable in the mornings.

I waited 20 minutes for the Brisket sandwhich. The ice machine didn't have ice. When I got the sandwhich, the meat was burned and the sandwhich was unsually small. I usually go to the one on Aero and I have always been happy, I've never recived such a small sanwhich or waited so long. Other customers were getting refunds and canceling their orders since it took so long. I Will not be going back to this location, its very poorly managed.

My apologies. However, my order this AM has been the worst bagel cream cheese and smoked salmon I have ever experienced. Often, although smoked, the lox can be a bit salty. But wow! As I removed the GMO tomatoe slice, then 1½ rings of onion. There lay a light tan paper thin piece of salmon which could only cover ½ of an open faced bagel. For the first time in my life, I saw salmon with zero pink hue. The picture advertised for 13$ item reflects no comparison. I get very concerned when a fish menu item shows far from healthy. I hope pride and motivation can be achieved. Then you could make the best in the county.

I would give this multiple negative stars, if the app permitted it. The employees at the Poway CA (Rancho Bernardo) store rarely, if ever, pick up the phone. I have tried nearly 2 dozen times between 6:30 and 10:45 this morning. An employee told me last month that they don't accept app or internet orders. The company itself also defeats efforts to make purchases. The app and website offer only a skimpy variety of bagels -- I suppose my tastes are too exoteric since I want to order poppy seed bagels and pumpernickel bagels. Neither is listed! When I ordered a bagel sandwich in the shop, the waiter brought out first two sandwiches which had been ordered by another patron. Then he brought me what I had ordered -- sort of. The bagel had the wrong schmear. If they can't find employees, perhaps they should raise wages. They aren't shy about raising prices.

I wish I could give this store a 0 starts because the service was awful. We had to come back to the store because our order was completely wrong, and they gave us a different persons order and acted as if it was our fault. Then we politely asked if we could just get a remake, and the chunky boy with curly hair rolled his eyes and sighed, and gave me a sarcastic remark. I was being very polite, and I felt as if he had no reason to be rude. This is the second time i’ve come in, and the service was just as bad. The teenager workers have been extremely rude both times.

not sure why I got a sandwich at a bagel place and it wasn't on a bagel. unfortunately I drove to work before I opened it and realized. and the bread wasn't very nice, just some small bun. Why are they not on bagels????? Cashier should have clued in when I asked if I could choose the flavour of bagel. her reply to me is that it's always multi grain....she neglected to say it was a square bun! not happy. not worth $7!

I bought on the app and picked up my order. When I got to the car and checked my order my bagel had the wrong schmear. I brought it back and they gave me a new one. This time the bagel was burnt. They didn’t say they were sorry for the first issue and I didn’t realize it was burnt until after I left. I should have assumed they would screw it up before I left.

Placed an order for pick up. Not only the order wasn’t ready by the time I arrive but there is there a very rude person at the counter making bagels, despite being asked his other co-workers he refuses to work on my order although my order was on the top. The other two co-workers were kind and sweet enough ti apologize for his rudeness and offered to finish and deliver my order. I am really really disappointed by his attitude and service and would never come back to this location ever again.

Horrible service, My friend ordered 5 jalapeño bagels and the guy refused to prepare the order specifically for my friend. For sure, not the way to treat your customers in food business… i am sure if this continues like this and there is no improvement, there will be no business to manage ultimately.

Do not order ahead from this place. You show up on time you wait 30 minutes for food to be ready. You arrive 20 min late someone steals your order this happened on 4 differentoccasions. Great Bagel! But get ready for the NY customer being ignored experience.

Sometimes you get a proper Nova Lox bagel, but other times it looks like they are cutting corners (see photo) - barely any onion, thin slices of fish, and overall very disappointing for the price. Feels like the staff decide how much to put inside depending on their mood. Customers, be prepared for inconsistency

I found a hair in my bagel it appeared to be a facial hair since it was short it was hidden and i didn't see it until i took my first bite they couldn’t do a refund or help me through the phone so i just wasted money 🥹🥲

My sad little awkwardly sliced bagel pretty much sums up the experience. No one ahead of me in the line, but none of the four people the counter turned around for a bit. The medium coffee was out, the vanilla medium coffee was cold. Eggs were overcooked andddd they forgot the chips with my sandwich. $35 was quite a bit for the whole experience and blah meal. *one lady was so done with the experience that she just threw $5 cash on the counter and walked out.

I should've heeded the previous 1-star review for avocado toast(ed) bagel...it was well-deserved. I can only imagine this dish was designed and/or prepared by someone who hates avocado and never eats it. Hands down the worst Avocado toast I've ever had. Is it frozen then thawed? That would explain the odd expression on the server's face when he handed it to me; which I understand in retrospect was a mix of embarrassment and disgust, as if to say "I wouldn't eat that but it's what you ordered so I hope you like it." When I opened the box I was initially disappointed at how few bits of avo were on the bagel but after I bit into it I was kinda thankful there wasn't more of it. It was bitter, watery, and bland. extremely slow service, took 20 minutes for two bagels with no one inside the store. careless workers buring bagels making store smell terrible. Never again
